Veer - Sweet..

Bani - Don't come closer.. (She said in a panicked voice)

He felt a prick in his heart. She was scared, he could see that in her eyes. Her eyes filled with tears as she looks at her very own state. Her shirt was torn just like her long built walls.He was successfull in hurting her but why was his heart aching more.

Since childhood he was taught to believe that humans were deceptive then why did she seem so pure and pristine.

Veer - I am not going to hurt you..

Bani looked at him with hatred in her eyes.

Bani - You have already done enough..

Veer pauses but the very next moment Bani passes out. Veer immediately goes and holds her from falling back.

Veer pulls her closer as he examines her wound. He slowly moves towards her and sucks on the cut on her left cheek.

The wound heals and disappears but the taste of her blood intoxicated him. Her blood felt like a heavenly nectar, Veer 's vampiric features starts showing. His fangs grow while his eyes become red.

Veer - Get a grip on yourself Veer.. (He said to himself, trying to calm his urge)

Veer tries restrains himself and kisses on her head injury. The injury got healed but Bani was still unconscious.

Veer - I will not allow anybody to hurt you anymore sweetheart... (He said carrying her in bridal style)

He looked at her once again admiring her feature. She was beautiful. Her beautiful eyes, those brown locks and plump lips. Everything about her was beautiful but what he liked the most about her was her courage, the fire in her eyes.

She was something else and he knew he wanted her to be his.

He went back to his castle within minutes in his vampiric speed. The gate gets opened.

He enters in his room while the maids whisper among themselves, seeing the prince with a human girl in his arms.
He takes her to his room as the Royal guards opens the door . He puts her on the bed when on of the maid utters.

Maid - Sir she looks filthy.. Your bed will be spoilt..

Veer turns and looks at her while a chill runs down the maid's spine.

Veer - Thoda hath do toh sar par baith jate hein..

( If you give a little hand, then they sit on your head..)

I think I am going too soft on you people isn't? Do you want me to cut that sharp tongue of yours?

(He says moving closer to her)

Maid - Sorry Sir.. (She says bending on her knees)

Veer - Ek uff bhi agar uski zuban sa nikli toh tum sab bachoge nahi..

(If even one syllabi of pain comes out of her mouth, then all of you will not be spared..)

Now go and clean her up!

All the maids starts working and moving towards Bani. Veer glances at her sleeping figure and something stirs within him.

Veer - What are you doing to me Sweetheart?

He thinks and moves out. He was now in the balcony, looking at the moon glowing in the darkness.

She was just like this Moon isn't? He thought and chuckled. A beauty in his dark world. No actually she was a star he concluded, one who seem small from far but is actually very dynamic, someone who always sparkles with a fire within.
Can he trust Humans again? He thought.
As he was lost in his thoughts. Somebody put a hand on his shoulder. Veer turned and looked at the Person.

Veer - Aakesh bhai..

Aakesh - Hello Brother!

Veer - What are you doing here? (He scoffed and turned)

Aakesh- Can't I meet my brother?

Veer - I don't think you have a brother to care, rather you just have a prince to rule who you are supposed to groom apparently..

Veer says taunting Aakesh.

Aakesh - You are still upset? Till when will you continue holding this grudge for such a petty reason?

Veer - Petty reason? You spoilt my entire childhood for holding power and dominance and you call it a petty reason!!

Aakesh - Ohh.. Stop acting like you don't like it Veer.. This power.. This control.. This dominance... If I am power hungry then you are the same... Don't forget how you suck blood out of innocent humans and turn them into Vampire or leave them in a pathetic state.. Do you remember?

Veer just keeps looking at him. He wanted to say you turned me into this but he knew that though he was the reason but he wasn't a child anymore to blame things to totally upon Aakesh.

Aakesh - What happened ? Cat got your tongue?

Veer - Just leave..

Aakesh - I just came because you didn't come to the chancellor meeting today..!

Veer - Knew it!

Aakesh - If you know me so well.. Then you must know Veer that whoever comes between you and the throne, I mutilate that very reason.. (He says with a dark gaze)

Veer - Wh.. What do you mean? (A sudden fear came in his mind. Veer Singhania the very name was a terror, was actually terrorized at the moment)

Veer - Sweetheart.. (He whispered slowly) ... What did you do to her.. (He says holding Aakesh's collar)

Aakesh - Didn't do anything yet brother but that doesn't mean I can't.. (He smirks)

Veer - You touch a hair of hers, And I will burn your entire kingdom.. (He says and leaves Aakesh)

Aakesh - This much attachment? To who, a human who you met a day before?? Did you forget what happened last time? Or is it her resemblance to that lady..

He says freshening Veer's wound.

Aakesh - If you can't kill her then I will do it.. Remember humans are deceptive, greedy and treacherous?

Veer knew how determined Aakesh was once he took a decision. He had to pacify him.

Veer - You don't have to do anything.. And don't worry I know how humans are... I just want that pathetic girl to be my bloodservant.. She dared to challenge me.. Now I will Vanquish all the fire within her.. (He smirks)

But what Veer was not aware of was a person who had heard the entire conversation. Her hands on her mouth surpressing even a tiny squeak from her voice.

Aakesh - Good Veer.. That's commendable.. I won't interfere but if I ever get to know anything then you know me very well Veer..

He threatens Veer and leaves. Veer immediately had an urge to go and talk to his sweetheart. He needed someone to calm his mind. Was someone capable of becoming our source of peace and serenity in such a short time, he didn't know but what he was well aware of was that he wouldn't let her go. He would never let her go.

He walked towards his room and sees her standing in front of the window. The red moonlight falling on her, adding on to her angelic beauty. Her hair was flowing with the wind drawing Veer's steps towards her.

Veer - Sweetheart..

He said in a tender tone but what happened next made him stood still for a moment.

A sharp blow was casted on his cheeks. His fave turned with the impact of her slap. As he realized what just happened his eyes became bloodshot red, fury enveloped his senses.

Veer - How dare you???

He said and held her throat as he pressed her between his solid figure and the window panel.She looked at him with pure rage and the very same fire that he loved and despised both at the same time.

She was out of breathe as a lone tear falls from her eyes and falls on Veer's hand . Veer immediately lightened his grip and left her as she stumbled a little.

Bani - What happened? Oh your so called ego got bruised! A normal human girl slapped you not once but twice(she laughs)..

Veer - Don't test my patience.. (He says gritting his teeth in anger)

Bani - Or else what..? (She says moving closer to him ).. You will kill me ?.. (She moves more closer, now Veer was between the window pane and Bani )

Veer - You don't know what I am capable of...

Bani - Oh I know that very well darling..

She says putting her right hand on the window while flipping her hair , trapping Veer in between.

Veer could feel her breathe , she was that close to him. He just wanted to hold her at that moment. She had become the object of all his desires at that moment.

Bani - You are capable of hurting innocent people, you are capable of torturing them.. You are capable of taking advantage of a unconscious girl..

Veer - STOP YOUR NONSENSE! (He says as his devious features starts showing up due to his anger)

Bani - Oh I won't.. You shouldn't scare someone so much that there fear itself ends.. But the very first day you made me overcome my fear.. You broke me so much that I became unbreakable..

She says with anger and tear in her eyes.

Veer - I did'nt do anything to you..

Bani - To turn me into your bloodservant??

That's when Veer understood that Bani had heard his conversation with Aakesh.

Veer - Listen..

Bani - I would prefer dying than staying with a devious monster like you.. These people might sell their souls to you..
Might worship you but I will not be that person.. I will not be that doll..!

Veer holds Bani's shoulder and pulls her closer. His rage and his emotions were battling with each other. He wanted to devour her in every possible way but at the same time he wanted her to look at him with a feeling of wantedness.

Veer - You will stay here till you come in your senses sweetheart.. From today you are mine.. Mine to cherish.. Mine to ruin.. Mine to hate.. Mine to lo...

He stops midway.

Bani - Then even you listen Veer Singhania..the Sea may rise, the sky may fall, but I will never be yours.. Never ever!!

Veer leaves her from his grip and starts leaving. He knew he might do something that he would regret.

Bani's shoulder hits something sharp and blood flows out of the sly cut.

Bani - Running away? Wow! The Prince of Raktanchal is running away..

Veer kept ignoring her comments.

Bani -How did you kill your last bloodservant by the way...?

She said and Veer stopped.

Bani - The girl who looks like me.. Did you torture her in the same manner..?Did you take advantage of her as well...

In a moment Veer walked to her with his Vampiric speed and turned her around with twisting one of her hands.

Veer - I gave you chances to beg for mercy but you have to be insistent... Pathetic human's..

Bani - Leave me...

Veer - I am not done yet sweetheart... (He whispers dangerously in her ear)

That's when he smells blood and his eyes land on that slide cut.His fangs appeared with the anger and the lust for her blood.
Before Bani could do anything further, Veer's fangs sank deep inside her cut.

Bani - AHHHHH...! (She screamed in pain as tear came out of her eyes.)

Veer drank her blood as she kept struggling.

Bani - Leave.. Me... I will not become your bloodservant...

Her struggle led to more pain. Veer held her waist tightly.

Veer- Heard you have a sick sister ..?
Have you ever thought what this devious world could do to her...

He said and Bani halted with her movements. Meera was her weakness and the devil had got a hold on it. She stopped her struggle as Veer kept drinking her blood. Slowly her eyes felt heavy as darkness consumed her.

Veer stopped as she stopped reacting. He looked at her face. She passes out and Veer realised what he had done in his anger.

Veer - Sweetheart... (He said slowly being overwhelmed with guilt)

Next morning

Veer had not got an ounce of sleep. He was in another room with a glass of wine in his hand. The events of last night playing in his mind. Why couldn't he control his anger. She tested his patience but when she mentioned that lady Veer couldn't control himself.

"Why can't she just stay here without any complains" His mind asked.

"Maybe because you made her very first day hell and practically kidnapped her " His heart answered.

Veer threw the glass on the floor. Life wasn't so complicated for him. Then why? Why was all this happening now!
He decided to pay his sweetheart a visit and most importantly know her name.
He had still not asked her that. Last night he placed her on his bed and asked the maids to change her clothes as he healed her wound.

He walked towards his room where his sweetheart now resided. As he got in, he couldn't find her.

Veer - Where did she go..?

He went near the washroom to check if it was occupied but it was not.

Veer - GUARDS!!

The guards immediately walked in hearing Veer's growl.

Veer - Where is she?

Guard - Sir madam didn't come out of her room..!

Veer - How is this possible..?

He was about to look around when his sight landed on the open window. He looked beneath and saw a rope made out of clothes. She had run away. Run away from him.

So last night she was planning this. He thought.

Veer - How far will you run away from your devil sweetheart? (He smirked putting his hands in his pockets)
