Bani's lips collide with Veer's. For that moment th whole world stood still for both of them. Veer was taken aback by her step but within few seconds he moved his lips against her. He kissed her passionately pouring out all his love while Bani stroked his hair from one hand.

Veer pulled her closer to him by holding her waist eliminating all the space between them.Bani was so lost in the heated moment that for a second she even forgot why she was here.She forgot how he had planned to manipulate her. She forgot how her heart was bleeding due to his games.

She slowly moved her hand in his pocket as she got hold of the red crystal. She put it in her pocket and immediately left from his hold.

Veer stumbles back a little and looks at Bani in confusion.

Bani keeps looking at him as tears form in her eyes. She runs from there leaving a perplexed Veer.

Veer - Sweetheart.. What's wrong?

Bani - No.. Nothing..

Veer - Did I overstep my boundary?

Bani - I said leave me alone Veer.. !

Veer - You Can't do this to me..! (He said holding her hand and pulling her closer)

Bani - Exactly.. You can't do this to me.. (She said as a lone tear fell from her eyes)

Veer didn't understand what she meant but somehow he didn't feel like forcing her more to answer his question. Somehow he felt her pain at that moment.

She ran from the spot as Veer touched his lips feeling her warmth still lingering on his lips.

Bani - Jay...

Jay - Bani.. You came..?

Bani - Jay.. I got the crystal.. .

Jay - Wow.. Bani you did a great job...

Bani - They will let me go right ?

Jay - Of course..! And wait why are you crying? That Veer singhania is not worth crying for...

He was about to touch her face when Bani moved back.

Bani - I am fine Jay.. But I have to leave now..

Jay showed the crystal to the vampires and they moved.

Bani started leaving to reach her beloved sister but what she missed to see was the smirk on Chandni's face.

Bani reached the hospital and went to Meera's room but what she saw shocked her to the core.

Meera was sitting on the bed with a book and an Apple in her hand. She was not prepared for any operation.

Bani frowned.

Bani - Sister.. (She called the nurse)

Nurse - Yes..!

Bani - I got a call for my sister's operation..!

Nurse - Ma'am I think there is some misunderstanding.. Ms Meera's operation is not today..!

Bani - WHAT?!?

Nurse - Yes ma'am..

The nurse passed by.

Bani -But that call..!

Bani entered in the Meera's room.

Meera - Di.. You here ? (She said with a smile)

Bani - You are fine right?

Meera - What will happen to me?

Bani smiles and hugs Meera.

Meera - Di.. On the day I got injured..

Veer - Meera.. Relax.. I will not hurt you.. You will pass out soon.. Just scream more than it hurts.. He will go away soon..

Bani - What!?

Meera - Yes Di.. But what happened why are you reacting like this..

Bani - He wasn't lying.. I had a feeling he couldn't do this.. But..

Meera - But the hate for Vampires took over..

Bani looked down in acceptance.

Meera - Di.. (She took Bani's hand in her's)

Meera - I know you care about him..

Bani - I don't..

Meera - Come on Di.. You can't lie to me.. You care and you feel something for him..

Bani - It's not that simple Meera..

Meera - It's not that complicated too Di..

Bani was lost in her guilt when somebody screamed her name.

Tapish - BANI!!!

Bani - Tapish..

Tapish - What did you do!?

Bani - What. .. (She said in a feeble voice )

Tapish - Where is the red crystal?

Bani - Th.. That..

Tapish - Do you know how precious that was.. It was Veer's royal jewel..
Something which he was supposed to present in the party that will be held soon. What did you do?

Bani - I had to pass the gate that's why...

Tapish - What gate!? (He said in anger)

Meera - Please Tapish.. Once listen to Di..

She said softly and Tapish tried calming down himself.

Bani started narrated everything.

Bani -Jay told me...

Tapish - JAY! That bastard! How could you trust that piece of shit? Do you even know who he is?

Bani - He is a human.. A member of ethic committee..

Tapish - Bullshit.. He is a Vampire!! Veer's arch rival.

Bani - What!?

Tapish held his head.

Tapish - He is going to use that crystal against Veer..

Bani - I didn't mean to hurt Veer.. I thought he was genuine..

Tapish - Bani you fell in his trap.. ! I don't know what to even say! Here you got played by that bastard and their Veer is fuming in anger..

Bani - I will talk to him..

Tapish - No you will not..!

Bani - I will Tapish. End of discussion.

Tapish - Bani.. He isn't in his right state. He is angry..

Bani - He is hurt.. (She said with pain and guilt evident in her tone and eyes)

Tapish sighs.

Tapish - Okay fine! Let's go..

Meera - Bye Di.. Take care..

Bani - You too!

Bani and Tapish leaves.

The ride started on a quiet note with both Bani and Tapish engulfed in their thoughts.

Tapish - Bani..!

Bani - Ye.. Yeah.. (She said Coming out of her trans)

Tapish - Veer had a terrible past.. All his loved ones left him and his only brother has turned into a thing working for power.. I know this doesn't justify the wrong deeds which he had done.. Of course he has his own flaws but one thing which I can tell you is that he isn't liar..

He did try being deceitful towards you but that was his way of denying his feelings.

Bani doesn't say anything.

Tapish - You know Bani I was very small when I met Veer.

Flashback.

A little boy is sitting on a swing. He had lost his human mother and his Vampire Father had abandoned him, blaming him for his mothers death. It was Tapish.
Tapish saw few children playing when he went towards them

Tapish - Can I play with you all?
He asked innocently.

Few human children ran away looking at his one red eye. As a child he didn't have control over his form. While fee Vampire children mocked him.

Vampire - You are lowly being cause you are half human...

Vampire 2 - I heard that he ate his mother...!

Vampire 3- I don't like weak people..

He said and pushed Tapish. Tapish was about to fall when two hands held him.

Boy - He is weak or are you afraid that he is actually stronger than you.. ?

Tapish looked at the boy's face. While the other vampires Knelt down.

Vampire - Sorry Prince..

Tapish - Prince..

Veer - I am Veer Singhania.. (He said extending his hand)

Tapish - I am Tapish..

Veer - So where were we? Ohh yeah.. Whose stronger..

Vampire boy - You are the strongest Prince..

Veer - That I am.. But I was talking about you and Tapish.. How about we have a competition?

Tapish - Competition..?

Vampire boy - Sure Prince.. He will definitely lose. (He smirked)

Veer - I will go and place this stone somewhere in the forest.. Whoever finds it first is the winner..

Tapish was a little scared and Veer saw that.

Veer - I know you can win.. I believe in you.. And remember if you lose I will kill you..

Tapish felt like laughing. It was the cutest threat someone ever gave him. It was also the first time someone had actually believed in him.

The competition started and Tapish won in it.

Veer - Good!

He said with a smile.

Veer - I hope you guys know now that we don't become strong by words but by our actions!

He said and the vampires left.

Tapish - Thank you Prince!

Veer - For what?

Tapish - For helping me ..

Veer - I didn't help anybody..

Tapish - You did..

Veer started moving..

Tapish - Can I become your friend ?

Veer - Princes don't have friends, they have accomplice

Tapish - Can I become your accomplice then?

He said forwarding his hand.

Veer - Okay..

He said holding Tapish's hand.

Flashback ends.

Tapish - Since that day Veer has always supported me... Yes we do have fights but that's cause I know he is hiding the good within him from the world...

They reach the palace.

Bani was thinking how similar yet distinct they were. Both of them were taken away from the parental love at a young age. And how the circumstances had played with their emotions.

Bani gets down from the car.

Tapish - Bani..

Bani - Yeah..

Tapish - He might say things which he does not mean..

Bani - I know.. (She says sadly)

Tapish - I will wait here..

Bani - Thanks Tapish..

Bani entered inside the palace.
He wasn't seen anywhere. The guards had let her in due to Tapish.

Bani searched for him in the hall but he wasn't there. That's when she heard a sound of something breaking from his room and Bani went there.

As she entered, she found his room in a complete mess. Everything scattered around. Broken glass pieces, torn curtains and few drops of blood.

Bani got tensed and she voiced out his name.

Bani - Veer..

She said softly but in a moment she was pressed against the wall with a tight hold on her throat.

Veer - HOW DARE YOU!?

Bani - Ve.. Veer.. (She tried speaking but eas choking due to his right grip)

Veer - Don't take my name with your treacherous mouth... (He said with anger and pain evident in his eyes)

A lone tear escaped from Bani's eyes and fell on Veer's hand. Veer kept looking at her in anger but left her throat.

Bani coughed, gasping for air.

Veer - You have guts to come here after deceiving me..?

That's when Bani looks at Veer's hand from which blood was dripping.

Bani - Veer you are hurt.. (She said panicking holding his hand)

Veer - Yes.. It's hurts but not here.. (He said showing his hand).. It hurts here.. (He said pointing towards his heart )

Bani - Veer sit down.. I will bandage your hand..

Veer - Stop your acting!!How could you stoop so low?

Banin- Veer.. You have to trust me.. It was all a misunderstanding!!

Veer - Misunderstanding??You Kissed me! The moment which meant so much for me was just a game for you..

Bani - That kiss meant something for me to.. Trust me..

Veer - Trust you!? (He starts laughing like a maniac)... Did you trust me when I literally begged you ? Did you believe in me when I warned you to stay away from that Jay? Did you trust me when I said I didn't hurt your sister ?

NO! YOU DIDN'T!

He said in a loud voice and Bani shivered.

Bani - Veer I know I did a mistake.. But..

Veer - No Bani.. You didn't commit any mistake.. It was probably me.. I commited a mistake by trusting a human again... You are just like all of them.. Deceptive!

Bani - Veer I fell into his trap..

Veer - Forgive me for not trusting anything coming out of your mouth.. Bani Sharma

Bani - I know you are hurt Veer.. But please give me a chance..

Veer - No more chances Bani..(he held her hand) ..No more hurting each other .. You have always told me to leave you alone.. To not care for you.. To not love...

He stopped midway as he realised what he was going to say.

Veer - So today I am promising you that I wont interfere in your life anymore Bani.. I will not care for you.. I will not feel for you I promise.. You are free from now... (He said leaving the hold on her hand)

Bani - Veer.. No.. (She said as tears slipped from her eyes)

Veer - Go Bani... (He said turning away )

Bani - Veer..

Veer - GO!!!

He shouted and Bani left with her tear stained cheeks. Veer eyes also became wet with all the pain that he was feeling at the moment.

Veer - Iss zamane main wafa dhundhna matlab pani main chand ko dhundhna.. Dono hi namumkin hein.. (He said being emotional)

(To find loyalty in this world means to find the moon in water.. both are impossible..)

It's weird how the person who we love the most is the only person who can hurt us the most and today was one such day.
Bani was in the hall as she turned back to look at his room.

Bani - I won't give up on us Veer.. I promise.. I won't..

Aur waise bhi jo mohhabat main giraftar ho jaye woh kahan hi aazad ho sakta hein..

(And anyway the one who gets arrested in love, how can they be free..)

She said as tears fell from her eyes along with a soft smile.

Bani came out and saw Tapish waiting outside.

Tapish - Bani are you fine?

Bani - I am okay Tapish.. But I need your help..

Tapish - Yeah tell me.

Bani - I want to go to this party...!

Tapish - No Bani it's dangerous...

Bani - Tapish.. Nothing can be more dangerous than us losing our Veer..

She said with utmost care and Tapish smiled a little.

Tapish - Okay.. But promise me you will be careful?

Bani - Promise!

Tapish - Let's go

Bani nods.

Bani - It's time for the manipulators to pay back..

She smirked.
