The silver moon hung high in the midnight sky, casting a gentle glow over the Singhania Palace.

A cool breeze whispered through the air, carrying with it an aroma of love.

Memories of an eternal affection and bond danced like specters in the shadows of Veer and Bani's mind, reminding them of the relentless passage of time and the solitude that came with their relationship.

Their minds departed to the time when they had first met and how the worldly hatred lost in front of their love while their entwined forms stood in front of the mirror.

The menancing facade of Veer's existence had shattered in an instant when he had crossed paths with Bani, the light who seemed to pierce through the eternal night that cloaked his being.

A faint restlessness had stirred within him that day , tugging at the edges of his immortal soul, beckoning him to seek something beyond the eternal darkness he had known for so long, something elusive yet achingly familiar.

Their bond unveiled a connection that transcended the boundaries of mortality, drawing Veer to Bani with an irresistible pull.

As day turned into night, Veer found himself caught in a whirlwind of emotions that he had long thought was dormant.

His heart was quickening with a desire he had believed forever extinguished.

The realization of love's unexpected arrival kindled a fire within Bani's heart as well , igniting a fervor that she had never known that she craved.

"Ahh.. Veeeeer.. "

Bani moaned with her hands placed on the mirror while she was looking straight into Veer's eyes who was moving in her from behind. His one hand fisted her hair gently and the other held her waist in a tight grip.

In the intimate sanctuary of their shared space, Veer and Bani were kindling a flame of passion that defied the constraints of time and fate. Their souls were intertwining in a dance as old as existence itself.

" I love hearing my name from your sweet voice sweetheart"

Veer said as he kissed on her neck and Bani leaned back closing her eyes with the pleasure and love that infiltrated within her heart.

"I love your heart beating my name "

He said further kissing on her cheek while his member dived into the depth of her femininity.

" Umm.. Veerrr.. "

Bani moaned again as her hand now travelled to his hair and tangled in it .As she saw the erotic sight in front of her and their entwined forms, the wetness gushed through her core.

" I love the way your soul has a part of me adorning it"

Veer said massaging her bosom and dropping a trail of kisses on her shoulder. He knew she was near.

"I love your eyes that has my reflection stored in them "

He said looking at her through the mirror as her gaze met his orbs filled with love, warmth, desire, care and respect, all at once.

"I love you sweetheart, your entire being. All my sides whether it's the good one that you discovered by brushing off the dirty layer of hatred that the world had casted upon my heart or the sad side that longed for love or even the bad one that always wanted to consume you completely in it but ended up getting consumed in you instead. Every freaking side of mine is in love with you Bani Sharma.. "

Veer said against the backdrop of a vast mirror reflecting their entwined forms.

He bared his immortal heart to Bani, his words a solemn vow of eternal devotion.

" I love you too Veer.. Each and every part of yours.. "

Bani said as they soon came together and rested their foreheads against each other's.

" You are my lifeline. "

He said smiling lightly and picked her up as he took her to the bathroom.

"What are you doing Veer ? "

She asked meekly.

" Taking care of my Queen "

He said placing her in the warm water and settling behind her.

Her back was against his chest.

Veer feathered her cheeks.

" Accha hua na Veer ki hum jald Tapish se mil payenge.. "

Bani said.

"Hmm.. "

He said placing a kiss on the nape of her neck.

" Meera ko bhi sab batana hein.. Sach janke puri duniya sar par utha lenge.. "

She said.

"True "

He said kissing on her cheek.

" Veer are you even paying attention to what I am saying? "

She asked.

"Haanji Bilkul.. "

He said with a smile.

" Bada pyar aa raha hein aaj? "

She asked.

"Kab nahi aata hein? "

He said with a cheeky smile.

" Tum aur tumhari batein.. "

She said blushing.

" Not like you love them. Isn't? "

He asked teasing her.

"You are such a tease.. "

She said hitting on his chest gently.

"And you are mine.. "

He said making her face him as he massaged her back.

" Sometimes I get scared Veer. "

She said.

"Of what? "

He asked.

" Of losing what we have. "

She said and he frowned.

"Why would you think so sweetheart? Do you think I will let that happen till I am breathing.? "

He said cupping her cheeks.

" Sab kuch itna perfect lag raha hein. Uss pure chand ke tarah jo bahar khila hein. Tapish thik ho gaya, Meera bhi. Humara rishta bhi aur zyada sawar gaya..
Lekin .. "

She took a pause and lowered her gaze.

" Lekin kya?"

He asked raising her chin up to face him.

"Lekin dar lagta hein Veer.. Kahi humari khushiyon ko nazar na lag jaye kahi.. Pura chand aaj ki khushi toh deta hein lekin sath main hum ye bhi jante hein ki kal se woh phir se kam hone lagega.. Tab tak jab tak aamawas na aa jaye.. "

She said with a worried expression.

"Look at me.. "

Veer said and she looked at him.

" Chand ki roshni chali jane se chand ka wajood khatam nahi ho jata hein... Aur nahi woh har manta hein. Woh dharti ki chakar waise hi lagate rehta hein jaise woh pehele lagaya karta tha Kyuki usse bhi pata hein ki agar amavas aayega toh purnimaa bhi ek din aayegi.

We should just be beside each other , love each other, support each other because if we do so no problem can break us apart... "

He said kissing on her forehead.

" I love you Veer.. "

She said kissing on his chest.

"Love you too Baby.. "

He said.

"Waise kafi samjhdar hogaye ho tum..? Whose influence is it? "

She asked teasing him as he chuckled.

" Hein ek thodi si akdu si ladki.. "

He said.

"Excuse me? Main aur akdu? Tum jaise bada pookie ho "

She said rolling his eyes.

" Whose pookie? "

He asked with a tint of jealousy and Bani chuckled internally.

" There is one person you don't know him.. "

She said.

" And why do take his name with a cute tone? "

He asked

"Because he is cute.. Simple.. "

Bani said.

" And I am not? "

He asked cutely.

" Didn't you say, Bani don't call me cute, I am handsome. "

She said like that was the most obvious thing to say.

" Fine don't talk to me then.. "

He said and pouted his lips like a baby.
Bani laughed.

"You are so annoyingly cute.. "

She said.

"So now I am even annoying? "

He said and was about to get up when Bani pulled him closer as her fingers takes through his hair.

" Yes you are annoying but you are my annoying person.. "

She said pecking on his lips.

Veer smiled.

" Now go change and even let me.. "

She said.

" By the way I hate this pookie.. Don't let him face me.. "

He said in a threatening tone and Bani wanted to laugh.

Vampire prince of Raktanchal himself was a pookie when it came her.

I chuckled.

" Abb tum has bhi rahi ho.. "

He said sulking like a child.

"Baby did'nt you had to meet the
council? "

She asked.

" Yes.. I hate those bastards. "

He said wearing his clothes.

" Veer come on.. Calm down"

Bani said.

"Calm down? Those mutts know that it will take time to make the blood formula yet they kept the condition for our marriage to make it.And now they want to question why I gave my royal blood to save Tapish's life.."

He said seething in anger.

"Veer.. It's alright.I will try my level best to generate the blood formula and didn't you say just now that if problems come in our way, we just need to stay by each other's side and everything will turn out to be well. "

Bani said hugging him from behind as Veer calmed down by her touch.

"You are right.. "

He said taking a deep breathe.

" How long will this meeting take? "

Bani asked.

" I will be back by tomorrow morning "

He said.

" We will meet in the college then.. "

She said.

" Okay Sweetheart. Good Night.. "

He said kissing on her forehead.

" Take care.. "

She said with a smile.

Veer left and Bani fell on the bed with a little smile on her face.

But she didn't know. What was awaiting her the next day. A disastrous truth that was going to break her beyond repair.

Next Morning

Bani got up and got ready to leave for college.

As she entered all the eyes we're on her.

Most of them respected her now because she was there queen to be, while few were afraid and few jealous of her stature.

This attention was too much for her but at the same time she knew that this was a part of her world now. She had to get accustomed to it.

She didn't had a class in the morning today but she came early so that she could speak to the professor of Bio technology and get his inputs on her assessments.

She made her to way to the lab when suddenly a pair of hands held her and dragged her to the corner.

She was pinned against the wall while a hand rested on her mouth.

Bani was about to hit the person when her eyes met his and a frown formed on her face.

"You..? "

She asked.

"Yes me.. "

Hriday replied.

"What are you doing here? And why did you pull me here like that? "

She asked as he loosened his hold.

"Kyunki sach batane ka waqt aa gaya hein Bani.. "

He said and Bani got even more confused.

"The truth of your nightmares, the truth of your childhood, the truth of your parents death.. "

He said and Bani paused for a moment. She wasn't even sure what she heard was correct. It was too much for her.

"Wh.. What? "

She asked trying to compose herself.

" Yes Bani.. I know everything and now it's better that you know about it too.. "

He said moving closer to her.

" Hriday paheliyon main baat mat karo.. Mujhe sach jan na hein.. "

She said.

" Tumhe mujhe dekh kar lagta tha na, that you know me? "

He asked.

" I did... But I dont know you"

She said.

"Apne Dil ko bhul gayi? "

He asked with emotions stirring in his eyes.

Something hit Bani as few memories evaded in her mind

Flashback

"Dil, tum bohot acche ho isliye unn bure ladkon se fight nahi karte.. "

A little Bani said.

" I don't like to fight.. "

A little boy answered.

" But sometimes fighting is the only option but you don't worry you have me now.. I will fight for you.. "

Bani said and the boy chuckled.

" And I will fight for you meri
dhadhkan.. "

He said and Bani chuckled.

Flashback ends.

" Dil.. Woh.. "

She said comprehending things while being confused at the same time

" I am your Dil. "

He said holding her hand.

" You.. You are fine.. I thought.. I thought I lost you too! "

She said as tears formed in her eyes.

" You did.. "

He said as tears formed in his eyes as well.

"What do you mean? "

She asked.

" Dil mar chuka hein Bani. Tunhare samne Hriday khada hein. "

He said firmly not letting more tears fall from his eyes.

"What's the difference both of them are you. My best friend.Also why didn't you tell me the truth prior "

She said with a small smile on her face.

"Because every truth had a certain time to come out.. "

He said confusing her even more.

" After those Vampires.. Those monsters.."

He said.

" Not all of them are monsters.. "

She intervened.

"They are not just monsters.. They are manipulators too and see they have manipulated you enough.. "

He said with anger in his tone.

" Dil.."

She said trying to make him understand.

"Hriday! "

He said.

"What? "

She asked.

"Call me Hriday. Dil is no more. Along with our parents those monsters even killed me. If she would'nt have helped maybe even Hriday would have not survived.. "

He said.

" Hriday, I understand your pain. I have went through it too. I hated vampires for what they did to our families but judging all of them due to few evil ones is unfair. Trust me Veer will himself help us out..He will free you from that elder Nandini as well.."

She said.

"Veer? The love of your life? "

Hriday said with an ache in his heart.

" Yes.. "

She said in a heartbeat.

" You were always naive Bani. I guess even I was at a certain point who believed in the good but we are not children anymore.. "

He said.

"What do you mean? "

She asked.

" The love of your life? How much do you trust him? "

He asked.

"More than myself "

She said.

" I don't know what's worse you trusting a vampire or you trusting the Vampire because of who your parents died.. "

He said and Bani stood stunned to her place as her heartbeats skyrocketed with the revelation.
