After Preeran reached home,Preeta directly went to room while Karan sighed seeing her,

Avni - Karan....Preeta ko kya hua?aise aate hi room me chali gayi!

Karan - zidd sawar hai madam ke sir par...doctor ne aaj mana kiya hai ki isse spicy khaana avoid karna hai....

Avni - haww...spicy nahi khaayegi to kya khaayegi?

Karan - exactly...isiliye muh fula kar baithi hui hai...aur bola hai ki teekha to khaa ke rhegi!Avni please tumbhi jara make sure karna ki ye teekha na khaaye...aur baakiyon ko bhi bol dena!

Avni - ha Karan don't worry!

Karan nods and left to room,
He entered and saw her who was sitting on bed and was about to eat from the packet of chips,

He went and snatched it from her,
She made an 'O' face,

Preeta - bajarbattu kya kar rahe ho?mere chips ka packet do!

Karan - chips nahi extra spice waala hai chips...mtlb tumhare liye a big no for this!

Preeta - nahi bilkul nahi...mujhe khaana hai do...bhuk lagi hai mujhe!

Karan - bhook lagi hai to kuch aur khaao...ye nahi milega!

Preeta - nahi mujhe chips hi khaani hai!

Karan(huff) - fine!(he went downstairs)

Preeta - fine bolke bahar chala gaya...aur mere chips bhi le gaya!(pouts)

He came back with another packet of chips in his hand,

Karan - ye lo...ye waala khaao!

She took the packet and observed it keenly and then looked at him angrily,

Preeta - ye...ye wala...plain waala...no way...mai nahi khaaungi...isme khaane layak hai kya?

Karan - tumhe iss wakt yahi mil skta hai!kyuki....

Preeta - mai teekha khaaungi!

Karan - lekin mai tumhare aur spicy khaane ke beech me ek dewaar bankar khada rahunga!nahi milega teekha!(hits her head) ab khaao...mai aata hu!(left outside)

She pouted angrily and opened the packet he gave and started eating from it,

Preeta(chips stuffed in mouth) - double duffer donkey!huh!

Karan came back to room after sometime to see her talking on phone,

Preeta(on call) - ha ha Sammy wo mera hi parcel hai...tum upar...(sees Karan) mat laana!mai neeche aati hu!

Sameer(confused) - ok bhabhi!(cuts the call)

Karan(suspiciously) - konsa parcel aaya hai tumhara?

Preeta - abb...wo hai kuch parcel...hatto tum...mujhe neeche jaana hai!

Karan - nahi tum baitho...mai hi upar le aata hu!(turned to go but...)

Preeta(shouts) - nahi!

Karan(startled) - k..kya hua?chilla kyu rahi ho?parcel hi to laa raha hu!

Preeta - nahi...wo mujhe neeche jaana hai isiliye!mai khud lelungi!

Karan(doubtfully) - acha thik hai chalo!

She stood happily and started going but stopped seeing him coming with her,

Preeta - t...tum kyu aa rahe ho?

Karan - kyu aa rahe ho mtlb?tumhe sidhiyon pe kya akele jaane dunga!

Preeta - are mai chali jaaungi na!

Karan(glares her) - chalo chup chaap...superwoman banne ki jarurat nahi hai!

She made a crybaby face,both went down,

Sameer - ye lo bhabhi aapka parcel!

Preeta took it from him happily, Karan looked at her suspiciously,

Karan - jara dikhaana kya hai isme!

Preeta(hid it behind her) - nahi kuch nhi hai!ye mera hai!

Karan - are to dikhaao to...mujhe dekhna hai isme kya hai!

Preeta - nahi kuch nahi.....

Sameer - are bhai isme...(reading the bill) spicy noodles with extra spicy sauce...chilli manchurian aur schezwan rice hai!

Karan looked at Preeta with wide eyes,while she glared Sameer,he looked at both of them confusingly,

Karan/Preeta - Preeta/Sammy!(shouts)

Sameer(shocked) - k...kya hua bhabhi maine kya kiya?

Karan - iss bajarbatti ke khuraafaat ki aisi ki taisi kardi tune bas!

Sameer - khuraafaat?kaisi khuraafaat?

Karan - mana haina tumhe itna jyada spicy khaana...phir kyu baar baar ye sab khaa rahi ho....

Preeta - khaaya kaha?tumne khaane hi kaha diya!

Karan - aur khaane dunga bhi nahi!kya harkat hai ye...itna....itna teekha khaana mangwaa rahi ho tum...mujhse chup kar...not done Preeta!

She made faces,he glared her,she looked away,

Avni and Shristi also came there,

Shristi - kya ho raha hai yaha?

Karan - apni behen se puch...pregnancy me log cute hote hai....ye shaitaan hogyi hai!

Shristi - are par di hai kaha?

Karan(turns) - are ye to.....

All turned to see her sitting on the dining table and cutely admiring the food licking her lips,

(Socha sbko muft ki bhook dedu thoru si😂)

She took the noodles in spoon,

Karan(widens his eyes) - ye ladki!(moves towards her)

She saw him coming and quickly stuffed her mouth with noodles,Karan snatched the plate and glared her while others suppressed their laughs,

Karan - dr dumbo...kya kar rahi ho ye tum....mana kiya phir bhi!

Preeta(mouth stuffed with noodles) - jaisnierhejjekwkenpum

Karan(confused) - kya?

Preeta(gulped) - jaise tum mana karoge aur mai maan jaaungi!

Karan - doctor ne bhi mana kiya hai!

Preeta - doctors ka kaam hota hai tokna...itna sunneka nahi!

Avni - aur ye ek physiotherapist...yaani ki ek doctor keh rahi hai...wo bhi ek doctor ke saamne!

Preeta bit her tongue and looked at them smiling sheepishly,

Preeta(cutely) - khaane dona Karan!

Karan(smiles) - tumhe khaana hai ye sab?(she nods) mai mana kar raha hu phir bhi!(she nods) to phir...(glaring her) nahi milega kuch bhi isme se!

Preeta glares him cutely,

Karan - oh Shristi Avni aur Sammy...lo aur tut paro!

Shristi - haaye Karan jiju aapko kaise pata chala ki mujhe beshumaar bemisaal bhookampchakit petbhramit bhook lagi hai!

Sameer - kya?konsi?kya bhook lagi hai?

Avni - are chor ye aajkal Dadi ke saath baith kar pravachan waale shows dekhne lagi hai..isiliye hindi andar se phut rahi hai!chal humlog khaate hai!

Shristi(excitedly) - ha chalo chalo!

Trio left to room while Preeta looked at them giving them a "mera khaana" look with a crybaby face,

Karan hits her head,

Karan - kya tha ye?mujhse chupa kar tum ye sab manga rahi ho!

Preeta(pouts) - faayeda kya hua?khaane to diya nahi!sab wo log le gaye!

Karan - bajarbatti...tumhe nahi lagta tum bahot jyada ziddi hogyi ho!

Preeta - aur tumhe nahi lagta tum mujhe bahot jyada daantne lage ho!

Karan - ha to tumhari harkate hi aisi hai...jab mana kiya hai...phir bhi teekha khaa rahi ho..are thoda teekha hota to chalo samjh aata...par itna teekha khaana!extra spice waala!

Preeta(pouts cutely) - to mujhe extra spice waala hi pasand hai!

Karan slaps his forehead,

Karan - wo sab tumhe tumhari ye delivery ke baad milega...abhi filhaal baitho...mai tumhare liye kuch khaane ke liye laata hu...without spice!

She glares him,he giggles and left to kitchen,

Preeta - spicy to mai khaa kar rahungi bajarbattu!mai nahi sunne waali tumhari!mai bhi The Preeta Karan Luthra hu...jo mai bolti hu wo mai karti hu....aur jo mai nahi bolti....(smirks) wo to mai definitely nahi karti!(makes faces) jo bola nahi wo kar ke kya karungi!huh!

It was midnight,

Preeran were sleeping in each others embrace,

His hand on her baby bump,while her hand on his shoulder,

She opened her one eye and saw him sleeping peacefully,

Preeta(mind) - lagta hai so gaya!ab mai azaad hu...hahaha!

She swiftly removed his hands from her belly,he stirred in sleep,she laid down and closed her eyes,he moved side,

She sighs and sat on bed and leaned towards him,

Preeta(whispers) - ab rok ke dikhaao bajarbattu!

She laughs loudly without making sound,

(Pata nahi kyu ye likhte likhte mujhe hasi aagyi)

She got down from bed silently and went out of the room without making sounds,

She directly went to the kitchen and took out a plate of chaat, which she hid in a plate,

She licks her lips smelling it,

Preeta - haaye...bhagwaan ne khaana wo bhi spicy khaana banakar sbse acha kaam kiya hai!aur Chandu chaat waale ne bhi!

Sees here and there,

Preeta - acha kiya na maine ye pehle hi mangwa kar chupaa kar rakh diya tha!(making faces) agar bajarbattu ko pata chalta to ye bhi nahi khaane deta!

She was about to eat but....

"Preeta puttar!"

She startled and looked back and saw Mahesh standing there,

Mahesh - puttar tu itni raat ko yaha..(sees the plate) ye kya kar rahi hai?

Preeta - wo Mahesh papa mujhe bahot bhook lagi thi isiliye!

Mahesh - are puttar tujhe to ye sab khaana....

Preeta - are papa aisa kuch nahi hai...aur aap hi bataye...mai isse dekhkar kaise control karu...isme ye jo masale...meethi chatni...dahi...(Mahesh licks his lips,she giggles) aur....

"Aur teekhi chatni kitni?"

Preeta(excitedly) - are teekhi chatni to bhar bhar ke dalwaai hai!(realized and startled)

Mahesh - puttar ye awaaj to.....

Preeta gulped,both looked back and saw Karan standing there with his arms crossed, glaring Preeta,

Karan - Babydoll tum ye.....

Before he could complete she immediately gave the plate in Mahesh's hand,Mahesh looked at her shockingly,while Karan raised his eyebrows,

Preeta - ye...ye Mahesh papa ka hai!(Mahesh widens his eyes) mai yaha aayi to dekha ye isse khaane jaa rahe the to maine rok liya aur plate mere haath me le liya taaki fridge me rakh saku!

Karan - achaaaa....aur tum yaha aadhi raat ko kya kar rahi thi?

Preeta(stammering) - w...wo mai...ha...p..paani peene aayi thi!

Karan(glaring her) - Paani to room me bhi tha!ya phir tum mujhe bol skti thi!

Preeta - abb....wo.....

Karan - jaanta hu mai tumhe!ye acting mat karo jyada! schme bahot ziddi hogyi ho!chalo room me wapas!

Preeta took the plate from Mahesh's hand,

Preeta - nahi pehle thora sa khaane do!

Karan - bilkul nahi!(snatched the plate and gave it to Mahesh and picked her up in his arms,she pouts angrily) aap bhi so jaao dad ab!(left taking her)

Mahesh - ye dono kya mere saath pass pass khel kar gaye!pagle!(sees the plate) chalo ab isse mai hi enjoy kar leta hu!(starts eating)

Karan took her to the room while she was pouting angrily,

He made her sit on bed,and saw her still making an angry pout,

Karan - madam...jab aap jaanti hai mai aapko ye sab nahi khaane dunga...phir kyu bekaar koshishe karti ho?

Preeta - par mujhe khaana hai!

Karan(cups her face) - ek baar baby ko aajaane do phir jo bologi wo laakar dunga!par abhi tumhe apni aur baby ki health ka dhyaan rakhna hoga na!

Preeta nodded innocently,

Karan - to phir thore time ke liye iss teekha khaane waali cravings ko control karo...mtlb spicy chalega....par jitna tum khaati ho utna nahi!(chuckles) okay?

She pouts and nods like a kid,he smiles and kisses her forehead taking her in his embrace,

Karan - so jaao...bahot khuraafaat karli aaj tumne!(kissed her head)

Preeta(hugged him) - good night bajarbattu!

Karan(whispers) - good night!

Both soon drifted into sleep.
