Pinky was getting frantic as Dadi was also missing from the house. She thought of going behind her but lost her after sometime.

Pinky: I'm sure mummyji went somewhere but where? Does she know where Shivaay went with Anika. Then I should waits for her.

She was too lost in her thoughts that she failed to notice Dadi entering.

Dadi: Aare Pinky what are you doing here?

Mahi excitedly hugged both of them tightly. Shivaay was shocked but slowly he hugged him back. Anika saw this and smiled. Mahi also had a huge smile on his face with some tears.

Mahi(whispers to Anika): Thank you Bhabi.... For looking after my Bhaiya......
Anika: I will always look after him ..... And you too.....

He broke the hug and smiled at them. Kaki entered the room to call all of them for lunch.

Anika: Sahil?
Shivaay: I will bring him...
Mahi: Aa... Bhaiya you take bhabi I will bring Sahil.....
Anika(shocked): You know about him?
Mahi: I know everything about both of you..... Every small thing......

Anika was confused hearing him while Shivaay looked at Jayesh who just nodded his head as if saying that " He only knows about it".

*Sahil's room*
Mahi entered to see Sahil sitting on the bed and reading. He thought of fooling him but he didn't know that he is Sahil Chaudhary.

Mahi(Shivaay's accent): Sahil.... Let's go for lunch.
Sahil(looked up): Yes ji.... Wait a minute you are not my Jiju.
Mahi: Aare no.... I am Shivaay only.
Sahil: You can't be my Jiju because he has ganzi aakhe like cats. And you have black eyes. You can't be my Jiju. Wait a minute you are his hamsakal and you have done something to my Jiju.... Wait let me call the police now....
Mahi(folding his hand 🙏): Mere baap shant ho jaa. Yes I am not your Jiju..... I am his twin brother Mahi.

Everyone had settled themselves and was waiting for Mahi and Sahil. Soon they arrived and Sahil on seeing Anika almost ran towards her.

Anika(shocked and looked at Shivaay): Jiju...

Mahi: Absolutely cool Champ.
Sahil(narrow eyes): And who is this duplicate?
Shivaay: Sahil.... He is my twin brother.... Mahendra....
Sahil: I never knew you had a twin brother!
Anika: Sahil let's have lunch now. Rest we will talk about it later. Papa please sit. Mahi sit naa. Kaki I'm sorry I can't help you today.
Kaki: It's absolutely fine Anika beta. I will serve everyone.

Everyone had a good lunch with Sahil's continuous batter about his crushes. Shivaay was exceptionally silent and it was making her go crazy. Mahi and Jayesh left after an hour later promising to visit them everyday at least Mahi said he would visit everyday. Sahil went back to his room with Kaki while Shivaay and Anika back to their room.

Medicines were given and Shivaay forced Anika to sleep. She was sleeping peacefully while holding his hand tightly while he was absent mindedly stocking her hair. He was in his own thoughts of his past.

*Shivaay's POV*
Life has become a very joke for me. The family whom I thought as mine was never mine. (Chuckled dryly) The only one I have in the name of Family is Anika..... (Looks at her) She has faced so much in her life..... And then she had to face my arrogance and hatred too. But she never left me. Even during Gayetri murder case,she stood beside me when she knew her statement can make her character go down. She risked her everything that she had to save me. Why? Why did she do that? Even the forceful marriage...... She didn't even speak a single word against me...... When I had said of not accepting the relation she never questioned me. She silently carried away all the duties of a wife. Even during Karwa chauth she kept a fast for me ...... What did I do to get her in my life....... I know I don't believe in love or ishq but her position and importance in my life is way more than I can describe. And the least I can do for her is to help her with Sahil's operation which she wanted to do. Yes, I think I should do that.

He freed his hand from her grip and went out of the room.

*Oberoi mansion*
Though OmRu were said not to meet Anika they couldn't help but think about her.

Rudra: O bhabi will be fine naa?
Om: When Shivaay is with her I have full faith she will be fine.
Rudra: O.... Don't you think there is something fishy?
Om: What do you mean to say?
Rudra: O we all know Bhaiya used to hate Anika bhabi like anything and then suddenly one day everything changed. Though they had many cat fights still we can't ignore the fact of bhaiya's hatred towards her.
Om: It's nothing like that. You are thinking too much. I guess Shivaay used to pretend all these in front of us. I am sure he always had a soft corner for Anika.
Rudra: I hope also hope the same.

Their conversation was heard by our all famous Tia who smirked.

Tia: Quite interesting...... So sad Shivaay baby. Now I need to break your real marriage fiasco.......

*Jayesh's side*
Jayesh: Mahi.... Those Kapoors and Pinky Oberoi should never the real reason for Shivaay's marriage.
Mahi: Don't worry Dad. I have managed everything. When Tia will try to show them the real video I guess something else will be show that too more interesting.
Jayesh(confused): What more interesting?

Mahi just smirked away and left Jayesh in thoughts.

Jayesh: I just hope it won't become a problem for Shivaay.
Mahi: Dad.... Did I ever create any problem for Bhaiya? No right. Then trust me this will be the most important thing for their life. It will solve each and every problem of those life. But only one thing is making me scared.
Jayesh: Kya beta?
Mahi: What is he planning now? Now when he has finally accepted that he isn't an Oberoi what will he do? I am very sure he won't make himself dependent on the Oberois and will do something. But what? For the past few days he is just concentrating on the deals in the Oberoi industries. I don't know what he is thinking or what he wants to do.

He nodded and sighed thinking about his elder son and daughter.

Anika(murmurring): No.... I didn't do anything..... Please leave me..... I.... I..... Shi...... Shivaay...... Please save me..... Shivaay....

She woke up with a jerk to see the room empty. She became scared and looked around the room to find for him.

Anika(shouts): Shivaay..... Shivaay..... Kaha hai aap..... Shivaay.....

She got down the bed but stumbled. But she least cared and she ran out of the room. She searched each and every corner of the house but noone was there. Even Sahil and Kaki was also missing. Fear gripped her mind thinking about worst condition.

Anika(stammering): Da..... Daksh..... He ..... He must have done something to them...  He has ..... No.... He can't do anything..... (Shouts again) Shivaay.... Sahil.....

She ran down the stairs but slipped at the last two of them. She cried out in pain. She somehow stood up and a black figure at the main door scared her. She went towards it and asked in shivering voice.

Anika: Wh..... Who..... Is there..... Koin hai waha.... Maine pucha koin hai.....

The figure turned around and seeing him she froze to death.

Anika: Da..... Daksh..... No this can't be happening.... No..... Shi..... Shivaay..... Shivaay......

She started walking backwards and ran. She saw the figure following her. She ran franticly and reached the back door. She somehow opened it and ran out. She looked in front and saw him.

Anika(shouted): Shivaay.....

He turned towards her and she ran into his arms shivering to the core.

Shivaay(carenessed her hair): Anika what happened.... Why are so scared.....
Anika: Shi..... Shivaay.... (Pointing backwards) Dak.... Daksh.... He... He.... He....
Shivaay(looks behind her to see ): Anika there is.....
Sahil: Jiju Didi fainted......
Shivaay(looking at her face): Anika..... (Patting her cheek) Anika..... Cara.....

" Bhaiya what happened?"

Shivaay: Mahi.... Anika fainted..... (Picking her up in his arms) I will just give the injection and come.

All of them followed him to the house. He layed her down on the bed and gave her the injection. While Sahil and Kaki went back to his room.

Mahi: Bhaiya, I didn't understand what happened.
Shivaay(sighed): I thought she would be fine. So I went out. But I guess she had a panic attack and then she come searching for me. And she fainted due to her head injury.
Mahi: Should we take Bhabi to a better doctor?
Shivaay: Don't know.....
Mahi(holding his shoulder): Don't worry Bhaiya. Sab thik ho jayega.
Shivaay: Hmm.... (noticing something) She brushed her elbow. Mad woman. I will just bandage it. You wait for me in the garden.

Mahi nodded and went. Shivaay bandaged her elbow and kissed on it lightly. He kissed her forehead and went to the garden.

*Garden*
Shivaay saw Mahi roaming around the flowers and admiring them.

Shivaay: Soft corner for flowers......
Mahi: Something like that only. Waise these are so beautiful. Who planted them?
Shivaay(smiled softly): Cara.....
Mahi(teasing voice): Cara.... Hmm.... Not bad Bhaiya......
Shivaay(embarrassed): It's nothing like that.....
Mahi: Yaa.... Yaa.... I understand..... Special name for bhabi...... How sweet.....
Shivaay(slip of tongue): Rudy..... Just shut up.....

Silence prevailed. Mahi understood his inner turmoil and held his shoulder.

Mahi: You miss them a lot naa. They must been very dear to you.
Shivaay: Very dear. You don't know what are they to me. They are like my kids whom I have nourished like a father. You know when Baade Papa.... I mean..... (Mahi nods his head in understanding) was busy in business and Baadi Maa in her societies and everything then I..... I with these hands (showing his hands) had carried them and consoled them when they used to cry...... Made food for them when they were hungry..... Made them walk ...... Write ...... Everything...... I was like a father figure to them...... But after 10 years when I returned.... They had changed..... Completely..... I thought they were angry on me for leaving them ...... But ...... They were manipulated by Baade Papa and now they both just sees me as their cousin.... Not even brother...... I can see their eyes which once held admiration now hold grudges...... Because I am given the position to handle Oberoi industries by Dadi. Baade Papa was fully against it..... But Dadi was firm on her decision. I never wanted to see that in their eyes...... Never......

Though he was speaking his heart out to his sole brother , he never shed a single tear.

Mahi: Bhaiya don't worry. I am sure one day they will surely come back to you.
Shivaay(dryly chuckled): I don't think so Mahi. When they will come to know that I am not an Oberoi then they will surely turn their face away from me. I can bear everything but not their hatred. But I have to do that only.
Mahi: What do you mean by it Bhaiya?
Shivaay(composed himself): Nothing. I had called you here for something else.
Mahi: What Bhaiya?
Shivaay: I was thinking about Sahil's operation. Do you know any good doctor?
Mahi: That's a good idea Bhaiya. And don't worry I will look into the matter.
Shivaay: I was thinking of taking Anika out also.
Mahi(teasing): Honeymoon....... Wah!....
Shivaay: Nothing like that. She needs a change of environment so I was thinking of taking her out.
Mahi(thinking): Bhaiya... I has thinking why don't you take Sahil to London to Dr. Mathur. In this you can take bhabi also and spend time with her. It will serve both of your purposes.
Shivaay(thinking): I think it's a good idea. But it's very difficult to get Dr. Mathur's appointment.
Mahi: Then why don't you  make use of your Oberoi surname.

Shivaay: Mahi..... I can understand your feelings as well as Papa's too. But I can never accept that share of money or property. Just inform Papa that I will be taking loan for Sahil's operation then I will repay him later.
Mahi: Bhaiya.....
Shivaay(cutting him) : Mahi please.....

He nodded half heartedly and after some more talks he went. But they didn't notice that their conversation was heard by someone. It was none other than Jayesh. He had a stern face and went away from there thinking something.

Shivaay sat in the garden for sometime lost in his own thoughts.

Shivaay(to himself) : I have already started a small business which no one knows.  With the money which I will lend I will use it for Sahil's operation and travelling. If something is left behind I will invest it in the business. Later I will return the money to Papa. But what about Tia and Oberoi family? Tia was already fooling me and was behind my money and fame. I need to expose her soon. And regarding the Family...... I have make everyone hate me. Yes, I have to it like that. Otherwise it would be very much difficulty for me to leave them. Though I wasn't their blood, Dadi never made any indifference between me and OmRu. OmRu...... I don't know how will I live without you both. But I guess..... I will...  I have to make everyone hate me..... Problem is how?  (idea struck him) Property......  shares.... This will create the much wanted difference between me and others. I have to do it..... I just hope Cara supports me in all my decisions.

He sighed and went back to the room.

Jayesh was in deep thoughts when Mahi entered and interrupted  him.

Mahi: Dad.... Bhaiya said that....
Jayesh(low voice) : I know everything Mahi.  I was there when you were talking.
Mahi(sighed): Now what should be done Dad? Bhaiya isn't ready to take the share of his property. He said he will take loan from yoh for Champ's treatment. Can you believe it dad?
Jayesh: Shivaay isn't wrong Mahi.
Mahi: What do you mean to say?
Jayesh(turns towards him) : Shivaay's  thinking is right. He thinks that he's an orphan now.... And whatever money he needs he needs to earn it.....
Mahi(shocked): But Papa, he isn't an orphan. He..... He is being insane and thinking completely wrong.
Jayesh: I know he is thinking completely wrong. But it's not his fault. From childhood he never experienced what is Love of a family mean. Mrs. Oberoi( he means Pinky) never had time to glance at his son and Mr. Oberoi (Shakti)  was too busy in his own world. Whatever love he got was from Maa. He thought that the surname Oberoi is a big thing for him. He thought people will look upto him because he is an Oberoi. He tried to find some kind of happiness with every person's attention on him due to the Oberoi surname. Now that he knows that he isn't an Oberoi..... His small world of illusion broke. But I guess to some extent Anika's strong woman nature gave him some strength to fight his inner turmoils. That's why whatever he is now is due to Anika's strength. Just like Anika was independent woman he wants to become one. That's why he is taking loan from me and not taking his shares. But don't worry I am Jayesh Joshi..... I also know how to deal my Son.
Mahi(confused): What are you planning?
Jayesh: That you will come to know soon Son. Let your brother come to take loan from me. Then see what I do.
Mahi: I don't know what's going on in your brain. But I have a big doubt.

Mahi: With whatever information I got from Her, Bhaiya is currently into all the deals of Oberois. Do you think he isn't having any backup plan?

Shivaay sees that Anika is still sleeping. So he took his laptop sat on the couch and started to find about the doctor and hospital which Mahi said.
He found out that he is the best surgeon and have solved every complicated cases. He saw that an email id was given. He thought of quickly sending him a mail.

Shivaay: But I should ask Anika once before. After all he is her brother.

He sees some movement in her and went towards her. He gently carenessed her hair and held her hand tightly.

Shivaay(softly): Cara.....

She slowly opened her eyes and the first sight of hers was the blue gree eyes of her husband.
But something was missing..... That glow......

Shivaay (softly carenessing her hair) : Cara..... Are you feeling better?
Anika: Hmm.... I am feeling good....
Shivaay(concerned voice) : What happened before this? Did you get a nightmare?
Anika: Hmm.... Same old one..... Daksh.....
Shivaay : I have planned something for us....
Anika: What?
Shivaay : Will you be able to sit? (she nodded yes) Come I will help you....

He helped her sit on the bed with the support of headboard and placed pillows around her. He took his laptop and sat beside her.

Shivaay : I.... I thought about Sahil's operation.... Which you wanted to do.... And I have found out a very good doctor for him....
Anika: You need not had to.... I would have......
Shivaay(keeping his finger on her lips and silencing her) : I did this for my brother..... And I just want your concert in it...... (removed his finger but she was still silent) What happened?
Anika: Nothing.... I am just too overwhelmed..... I thought I will have a simple life with my brother in a small house with my work.... Never in my dreams I had thought that I would be married to someone like you who will care about me and my brother so much.... I guess I am being too lucky.... I don't want to get up from this sleep if it is... I don't want to come back to the reality..... I just love this dream that I am seeing....
Shivaay (wiping her tears) : This is no dream Cara.... This is the reality now. Whatever pain.... Whatever humilation you had to bear it's all over. From now onwards you will be experiencing only happiness....
Anika(shaky fearful voice) : But... I am cursed.... I am cursed in such a way that happiness never stays with me. Whenever it comes in my life it is snatched away either by destiny or by someone..
Shivaay (cupping her face and low soothing voice) : Cara..... I know whatever you are facing or have faced in the recent past is due to Me.  And I can never forgive myself for that. But the moment I realized that.  I am also an orphan (she nodded no) Don't deny the fact Anika.... Though Mrs. Pinky Singh Oberoi is my mother but she never cared for me. She never saw that her son needed her so much. What is called as 'parent love' I never experienced. Then I realized that people see me as Shivaay Singh Oberoi rather than only Shivaay and I started believing in Naam Khoon Khandan.  You were the first one who made me realize that a person is know by his name not by family's name. (chuckled dryly) My own ideologies mocked at me and I realized that you are so important for me because (looking straight into her eyes) you are the only person whom I can claim as mine. And who said you are cursed.... No you aren't. It's just that happiness is waiting for you at your doorstep for you to enjoy it fully. Maybe it just wanted you to enjoy with me.

She smile cried and he touched his forehead with hers and both of closed their eyes.

Shivaay(whispering): I can bear anything..... But I am too weak to stay or fight alone..... Promise me... That from now on whatever happens in our life you will never leave me.... My some actions might hurt you but at least have this much trust in me that I will be doing everything for our good. Never leave me please.... I.... I am sorry for all my past deeds..... I am sorry.....

Tears rolled down their eyes while they stayed in that position. She slowly moved her hands towards his neck and buried her face in his crock of his neck.

Anika(whisper): I will never leave you side.... Never..... Even if death wants to separate us.... He can't.....
Shivaay(pulled her away and with angry eyes) : Dare you talk about death.....
Anika: Sorry.....

He pulled her towards him and hugged her tightly. Her hands wrapped around him and hugged him tightly.  Breaking the hug slowly,he cupped her face and looked into her eyes.

Shivaay: From now onwards our journey won't be so easy.....
Anika: If you are by my side I am ready to face any challenge......
Shivaay: But before that..... I need by old Anika back......

She looked at him blankly and didn't say anything.

*Study room*

Jayesh was sitting in the chair of his office room in deep thoughts.

*Jayesh's POV*
I have done a big mistake in letting Pinky go when she was bearing my children. And now due to that mistake my son is breaking bits by bits. Why... Why I didn't have the guts to take both of my sons from her? Why? If I had the slightest bit of idea that She would be such an ignorant mother and make her own flesh and blood suffer..... I would have surely taken Shivaay from her. But now when the damage is done I have to rectify the mistakes. Shivaay is very secretive and now when he knows who is he.... He will become more secretive. But one thing is clear.... Anika is his life and he will surely won't do something that will hurt her. He will leave Oberoi family very soon and I have to keep a watch that Tej Singh Oberoi shouldn't about Shivaay's true identity. Mahi will handle Tia with Her. I just need to handle my Son and Tej.

*Cafe*
Mahi was sitting at one corner of the cafe and sipping his cappuccino. It seems he was waiting for someone.

Mahi: This Lady is never on time. God knows why does woman take so long.

"I never knew you could even praise me Bhaiya... "

Mahi(looking at the source of voice) : So finally the Oberoi Princess showed up....

She smiled widely and sat in front of him.

*Farmhouse *

Her blank look was making him nervous.

Shivaay: Cara....

Anika: That Anika has lost somewhere....I can't bring her back.

Shivaay: But you can atleast try for me..... Please Cara.....

Anika(looking in his eyes): Will you help me?

Shivaay: I'm always beside you...In every situation...In every step....I just want my Khidkitod Anika back....the Anika who broke my car windscreen ...the Anika who threw water on me...the Anika who had the guts to question me back....I want that Anika.....Will you?

Anika: I will ....I will ....

She smiled at him and a soft lingering kiss was placed on forehead.......

Shivaay: Cara.... I  have already gone through his details and everything. He is the best surgeon and....

Anika(holds his hand) : I trust you....
Shivaay(confused): Huh?
Anika(holding it tightly) : I trust you with whatever you will do Shivaay.  I know you will do the best for Sahil. So no need to tell me about all these things and moreover I won't even understand.
Shivaay: I know... But you are legally Sahil's guardian and you have the right to take his life decisions.
Anika(sad smiled) : I'm not his guardian yet. But he isn't less than my own brother. And who said only I am his guardian... You are his guardian too. If I am a mother figure to him... I am sure you aren't less than a father figure to him.

"Anika didi is right Jiju... ", came a voice.

They looked at the door and saw Sahil standing at the doorstep.

Shivaay(hurried went towards him) : Sahil.... You should be resting. What are you doing here?
Sahil: I was bored so I came to see you both.
Shivaay(picking him up in his arms) : You could have called me.  I would have brought you (putting him on the bed beside her)
Sahil: But I can walk...
Shivaay : No young man... You are still healing up and you need plenty amount of rest.
Sahil(pouted): Didi... You say something naa.
Anika(carenessing his hair) : He is right Sahil.  You need rest. See your wound is so deep.
Sahil(fake anger) : Hah! I thought you will support me... But...
Anika: It is for your good only.
Sahil: Okay... Never mind. What were both of you talking about?
Shivaay(holding his hands tightly) : Sahil we were planning to take you to London for your operation. There is this doctor who is a world famous surgeon. He has handled every complicated cases. So I have sent your case to him. And we are hoping for a positive response.
Sahil(shocked and happy) : That means I can walk, run and play around?
Shivaay: Yes... Just like normal kids you can do everything.... Walk, run, play... Everything.
Sahil(innocently): Even protect Anika didi from the society?

Silence prevailed in the room for few minutes. Shivaay felt a tight grip on his upper hand and looked to see Anika shaking with fear. He immediately took her in his embrace.

Shivaay: Sshh.... Nothing to worry... Everything is fine.... Noone is here.... You are with me safe.... Sshh.... Calm down.....

He kept on saying her soothing words and kissing her hair in between. But seems like she took it too much and fainted in his arms. He sighed helplessly seeing her condition. He made my lie down on the bed and kissed her forehead softly.

"I shouldn't have said it... "

He looked back and saw the little kid crying silently. He covered her with the comforter and sat beside him.

Shivaay(wiping his tears) : It wasn't your fault. She is just too vulnerable now... Doctor said it will happen quite often.
Sahil: I seriously didn't mean to hurt her.  I have seen my didi suffering so much from the society and I couldn't even do anything for her. When you said I can walk I couldn't hold back my thoughts and blurt it out.  I am sorry.
Shivaay: Why are you saying sorry? You didn't do it intentionally. I know you can never hurt your Anika didi not even in your dreams.
Sahil: For me Anika didi is my mother and father both. But now... (looking at him) You are my father.

Shivaay smiled hearing him and hugged him tightly. His mind went to the time when his brothers had looked up at him as their father figure but now.....
