Rudra and Soumya were waiting outside the ICU for the doctor to come out. Soumya was sobbing silently and Rudra saw it.

Rudra: Sumo... Why are you crying?
Soumya(crying): If at all I hadn't called you then this wouldn't have happened. Anika didi would have been safe as well as Sahil. It's all because of me.
Rudra(consoling her) : No... Sumo... It's not your fault. You didn't do it intentionally.
Soumya: I had.....
Rudra(shocked): What do you mean by that?
Soumya(stammering): I... I.... Got a call saying that... If I don't bring you back to Oberoi mansion then.... Then...
Rudra(shaking her) : Then what Soumya?
Soumya(closed her eyes tightly) : Then, He will kill my brother....
Rudra(shocked and left her shoulder) : What?
Soumya(holds his hand): Rudra please believe me.... I was blackmailed..... I was forced to do this.... Please forgive me..... Please forgive me Rudra.... Please....
Rudra(composed himself) : I am not angry on you Sumo. I was just shocked hearing about it. Do you have the number from where you got the call?

Rudra: I will immediately send this number to Bhaiya. Maybe he can some clue regarding Anika Bhabi.

He went a little away and called Shivaay. But it went unanswered. He tried again but failed. So he called Khanna and told him about everything and gave the number.

*Phone conversation*
Rudra: Khanna.... Any news about Anika bhabi?
Khanna: No Rudy baba. We all are trying our best to track her.
Rudra: Do fast and where is Bhaiya?
Khanna : Anika ma'am house only.
Rudra: Take care of him.
Khanna: How is Sahil?
Rudra: Doctors are still checking him. I will inform about him. You find out about this number and Bhabi also.

He hangs up the call and the next instant, doctor came out the ICU.

Rudra: Doctor how is Sahil?
Doctor: The injury on his head is quite deep. But it has been managed. (they sighed in relief) But seems like he is some kind of shock. He was continuously murmuring Anika didi....
Rudra: Actually he is my bhabi's brother.
Doctor: It would be better if she comes and meet him.
Rudra: Sure doctor. Is he awake?
Doctor: Within few minutes, he will gain consciousness. Then you can meet him.
Rudra: Thank you so much Doctor. (doctor went) I should inform Shivaay bhaiya about it.
Soumya: I will stay with Sahil. You go and help Baade bhaiya.

He nodded and went while Soumya stayed back with Sahil.

*Anika's house *
Shivaay was still in daze seeing the blood and various horrifying thoughts are coming up in his mind. Buzzing of his phone broke his thoughts.

*Phone conversation *
Shivaay: Haa Rudra...
Rudra: Bhaiya, Sahil is out of danger. Soumya is with him. I am coming to help you.
Shivaay: No... Stay back. I am coming there to meet him.
Rudra: But......
Shivaay: Rudra just stay back. I am coming....

Shivaay looked around the house once and went to the hospital.

*Hospital *
*ICU*

Shivaay entered to see Sahil lying unconscious on the bed. His innocent glow had been replaced with a pale one. White bandage around his head with saline drips. Soumya saw Shivaay and went out leaving him alone. Shivaay sat beside him and carenessed his hair. Sahil opened his eyes slowly.

Shivaay: Sahil....
Sahil(turning towards him) : SSO?
Shivaay: Haa... Sahil.... Are you feeling any pain? Should I call the doctor?
Sahil: I'm fine. (looking around) Anika didi? Anika didi kaha hai?
Shivaay(lieing): She is here only....
Sahil: Call her naa. I want to see her.
Shivaay: I will call her.... But not now.... You need to take rest....
Sahil(with tears) : I know she is not here. He took her.... Took her away....
Shivaay(got alert) : Who took her, Sahil?
Sahil(chocking voice): He.... Was very big man. He came from the back door and before we could realise anything, he attacked Anika didi. She tried to free herself but he held her tightly. I got scared seeing that. I tried to free her but he pushed me. I fell down. Anika didi tried to help me but he hit her to the wall and she fainted getting hurt. I became scared seeing it. I again tried to go to her but he pushed me and I hit the table and fell down. Before I could close my eyes, I saw him taking her away through the back door. (holding Shivaay's hand) SSO please save my Anika didi.... Please..... She was hurt very badly. Please save her Jiju......
Shivaay(recovering from his shocked state) : I promise you Sahil..... I will bring your Anika didi back. I promise..... You take rest now.
Sahil(showing his little finger) : Pinky promise?
Shivaay(remembers how Anika had also said the same thing to him) : Pinky promise (joining his finger)

Shivaay went out of the room to meet with Rudra and Soumya.

Shivaay: Sahil ka dhyan rakhna.
Rudra: But where are you going Bhaiya?
Shivaay: To find Anika.
Soumya(with tears) : I'm very sorry Baade bhaiya.
Shivaay: Why are you crying Soumya? What have you done?
Rudra: Bhaiya actually..... (he narrated the whole thing to him)
Shivaay: So it was all pre-planned. But except for the family none knew about Anika going to pakphere then.....
Rudra: Bhaiya... Lady baba.....
Shivaay(raged voice) : I swear to god, if I find that by any means Tia is involved in this then....
Rudra: Bhaiya.... You need to find Bhabi.

A lady was seen tied up to a chair in an unconscious state. Someone threw cold water on her face and she jerked and woke up.

"Please leave me..... What have I done to you.... Please leave me.... "

"Not so soon..... Anika baby.... "

So the Lady is Anika. But who is the other person. Anika looked up to see her worst nightmare in front of her.

Anika(stammering due to fear) : Da... Daksh.......
Daksh: Yes, Baby.... Daksh is back......

He gave an evil smile to her while her face became pale.

*Outside the hospital *
Shivaay was fully frustated as he was unable to find a single clue about Anika. He banged his fist on the car.

Shivaay : It's over an hour and I am unable to find trace Anika. Don't even know in what condition she is now. Where do I find her? Where are you Cara.....?

Being tired ,he could only do one thing. He took out his phone and called someone.

*Phone conversation *
Shivaay(defeated voice) :I need your help..... Please.....
Os(amazed): Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi is calling me and that too for help with a please as a bonus. Should I be amazed?
Shivaay: You want to taunt me you can.... But please help me find Anika... Please.....
Os: What will I get in return?
Shivaay: Whatever you want.... Even I am ready to give my life if you want.......
Os(shouted): Shivaay..... Think before you speak.... How can you....
Shivaay(whispers): Please.....
Os: Okay meet me at Anika's house within 10 minutes.

For the first time, Shivaay Singh Oberoi was feeling so helpless that he said 'Please' to someone else other than Anika and that too 4 - 5 times. He looked up to the sky and sent a silent prayer to help him find Anika. He sat in the car and drove towards to Anika's house.

*Old Mill*
Daksh was roaming around Anika and trying to touch her but she saved herself everytime.

Daksh: Baby, why are you going away from me? I want to feel you.
Anika(raged voice) : Don't you dare touch me.....
Daksh(holds her face tightly) : Why? Only that Shivaay has the right to... (traces her face with his finger) touch you.... (lusty voice) feel you....
Anika(with her left over strength) : Yes.... Because he is my husband....
Daksh: Husband.... Oh I see.... Why only Shivaay should enjoy you..... Let me also enjoy..... (lusty voice) Just one night....
Anika(kicks his stomach with her leg) : Never..... Just stay away from me.
Daksh(quinces in pain) : You have to pay for this....

He went towards her and took hold of her leg that kicked him. He took out a pocket knife and slit her sole. She screamed feeling the pain and blood gushed out of the wound. He laughed like a maniac seeing her in pain.

*Anika's house*
Shivaay too felt a pain the same instant when she got a hurt.

Shivaay(whispers): Anika.....

"Shivaay... ",someone called him. He looked behind to see the Man who changed his whole life geography within few minutes.

Shivaay: Mr. Jayesh Joshi....
Jayesh: I'm your Father Shivaay....
Shivaay: No... You are not....
Jayesh: That's the truth and you can't deny it.... Even DNA reports say so.... (sighs) At least call me Papa....
Shivaay(ignoring his words) : We are here so that you can help me find Anika... Please help me out...
Jayesh: Do you remember the condition I asked for?
Shivaay: Shivaay Singh Oberoi never forgets anything.
Jayesh: My condition is that only if you regard me as your father and call me Papa from now onwards.... I will help you....
Shivaay: Not possible....
Jayesh: Then forget about Anika....

Shivaay got rooted at his place. Daksh.... Again..... But.....

Jayesh: We don't have time to think about it now. We need to save her now. (sees Shivaay still. nudjed him) Shivaay.... We need to save Anika....

Shivaay came back to sense and went with him.

*Old Mill*
Anika was being tortured to hell. After the cut on the foot, Daksh gave her electric shocks. She pleaded him to leave her... Spare her.... But all her pleads went unheard. She was continuously thinking about Shivaay and praying from the bottom of her heart that he comes and saves her. With each passing minute, her hopes were dying. She was already in a semi conscious state due to the tortures. Bleeding feet, cuts on her hands, slap marks, wound on the head, messed up hair because of continuous pulls. In one word, she had already experienced a mini hell. But still the last and final torture was left- Water torture......

She was pushed inside a glass box and locked from all the sides. Cold water started flowing from the top in full speed. It started filling up the box. She scrambled up to save herself from drowning. The flow of the water increased making it impossible for her to stand straight. She was banging the walls to tell Daksh to take her out.

Daksh: Sorry Baby.... But what can I do.... You, yourself invited this for you. I loved you.... Loved you so much.... But you never noticed me..... And then I thought that I will scare you and then save you and become hero..... Remember that night in your house....

*FLASHBACK STARTS*
(Happens after Shivika's first marriage precisely after that misunderstanding thing)
Anika had returned from OM after her work. She was alone that day because Sahil went for a sleepover at his friend's place. She was making dinner for her while listening to the radio over old hindi songs.

Anika(singing): Aai mera dil... Pyaar ka diwana.....

She was in a jolly mood and dancing, singing and making dinner. But little did she know that her smile would be removed from her face completely.

Suddenly the electricity went off and the whole house became pitch dark. She flinched seeing it. She tried to calm down her nerves.

Anika(to herself) : Don't worry Anika... You can do it.... It's just darkness...... You can do it..... Candles..... Find candles....

She started finding candles in the drawers of the kitchen when a hand caught hold of her wrist. She became scared and tried to shout when something covered her mouth as well. She couldn't shout also. She tried to look through the darkness but nothing worked. She started getting panic attacks. She started hyperventilating. Tears were flowing down her eyes but she was helpless. Before she could comprehend anything, she was pushed back and she got injured in her head. She tried to stand up and run to the main gate. But someone caught her legs making her fall again. She became scared and started moving back. She could see a figure in front of her but failed to recognize it. She removed the tape from her mouth and shouted.

Anika(shouted): Help.... Help.... Koi bachao...... Shivaay........

The person caught her chin harshly and said in raged voice.

Person(raged voice) : I don't to hear the Basterd's name from your mouth again..... Otherwise....

He slit her wrist too deeply. She cried out loudly. She tried to stop her blood flow but failed. Ultimately she lost her consciousness and darkness enveloped her.

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

Anika was shocked hearing it.

*Shivaay's side*

Khanna was driving the car at a very high speed, almost breaking all the traffic signals. Shivaay was lost in Anika's thoughts and praying in his heart for her safety. Jayesh was watching his Son going through such an emotional breakdown. He wanted to console him but held himself back.

Jayesh (thinking) : I want to stay beside you Shivaay. But I am helpless and I can't even console you. Whatever it is I will always stay beside you in every situation. I just pray that my bahu is safe and nothing happened to her.... Otherwise.....(looks at Shivaay) Though he will never agree but it is very clearly seen..... His Love for her..... He will always disagree to it. And I know there must be some reason behind this belief of his. I just hope he gets love from Anika. But if something happens to her then...... (becomes scared) No I can't let that happen. I will do everything that is in my hand to save Her and my son.

*Old mill*
Anika was still in shock hearing about that night. She can never forget that night because it changed everything in her life. Before she could think about it more, the cold water touched her body bringing her back to the present. She was loosing her senses slowly, but still didn't close her eyes in the hope of seeing Shivaay for the last time. The water level was increasing making her impossible to stand properly. She tried to keep herself above the water but was failing. The maniac laugh of Daksh was resonating throughout the place.

Anika(thinking) : Shivaay...... For once please come..... I want to see you for the last time..... Please.....

The next moment, the door of the mill banged open. She looked up with tired eyes and those blue-green eyes caught her attention. Seeing him finally, made her happy. She smiled to the fullest as much as she could before allowing the darkness engulf her finally......

Now she doesn't have any complaints.... She saw Shivaay before closing her eyes..... Now she can die peacefully........ Her body gave up and she was seen sinking to the bottom of the tank.

Shivaay(seeing her)(shouted) : Anikaaaaaaaaaaa..............

He tried to run towards her but some goons caught him. He struggled and freed himself. He bet them up and went towards her. He banged the glass wall, kicked it but alas. He called her but no use. The maniac sound of laughter echoed through the mill and Shivaay's eyes turned red hearing it. He looked behind him and saw the physo Daksh laughing maniacly.

Daksh: Shivaay Singh Oberoi..... Too late bro..... Anika is in different world now......
Shivaay(shouted): Daksh...... Dare you take my wife's name from your filthy mouth. How dare touch Shivaay Singh Oberoi's wife? How dare you?

He jumped on him like a wounded lion and beat him mercilessly. Police had covered the whole area and went inside only to witness an aggressive angry Shivaay pouncing on Daksh. Daksh had already lost his consciousness due to punches and kicks. But still Shivaay didn't spare him. Jayesh took the matter in his hand and tried to stop Shivaay.

Jayesh(pulling Shivaay back) : Shivaay stop. See he is already senseless.
Shivaay(raged voice) : No I will kill him... Kill him.... He has harmed and dared to look at Someone who is Mine..... Only Mine... I will not spare him.
Jayesh : Shivaay Anika needs you..... She is struggling with her life......

The sentence clicked him and he freed himself. He ran towards the tank where Anika was lifeless. He looked around and found an iron rod. He took it and with a great force banged the wall and CRACK! The glass wall shattered into pieces and Anika fell down with the flow of water. He pulled her up and held her face in his palm.

Shivaay(shaking her) : Anika.... Anika open your eyes Anika..... You can't do this with me.... Anika....... You can't leave me and go.... Anika.......

He hugged her to his chest tightly and was carenessing her hair.

Shivaay: Tum mujhe aise chod kar nehi jaa sakti.... Anika.... Tum aisa nehi kar sakti...... I can't live without you...... Anika.... Aakhe kholo aapni.... (shouted) Anika......

And that magic tear from his eyes did the magic. The tear fell on her cheek and her fingers moved. But he was too ignorant to see it. Jayesh saw it.

Jayesh: Shivaay..... Anika responded..... Her fingers moved.... We should take her to the hospital immediately.
Shivaay(looking at her hand and then her face) : She did move her fingers? Anika... Open your eyes Anika..... See, your Shivaay is here.... Nothing will happen to you..... I have saved you...... Anika.....
Jayesh: Shivaay we should take her fast otherwise it will become difficult for her.

Shivaay nodded and took her in his arms towards the car.

*Hospital*
Anika was being treated for like an hour now and Shivaay was loosing his patiences every minute. He was walking up and down the corridor in front of the ICU praying for her well-being silently. Jayesh come back after completing all the police work to witness his son walking like a pendulum.

Jayesh : Shivaay.... Sit down.
Shivaay: No.... Till I don't get any news from the doctor regarding Anika I won't.
Jayesh : But walking like this won't help either. Come here and sit. (forcefully making him sit) Beta.....
Shivaay(snapped at him) : Only Shivaay.
Jayesh: Shivaay, if you don't mind can I ask you something? (he nodded) How do you know Daksh? And why would he do something like this with Anika?

Shivaay was drown in the flashback as to how he found Anika and what happened that day.....

*FLASHBACK STARTS*
(Continues from where it stopped before)
*Shivaay's POV *
Ahh! This Anika naa... Always forgets to take something or the other. Now I have to go to her house and give her back. It's good also. I need to talk to her regarding something important.

(Seeing the house dark)
Why is it so dark? Anika didn't return yet? But how is it possible? She left almost an hour ago. Maybe there is power failure. But isn't she scared of darkness? Then.... Anika....

Me(knocking the door) : Anika.... Anika.... Open the door... It's me... Shivaay.... Open the door Anika... Anika...

He banged the door but didn't get any response. What's wrong with this girl? She will kill me one day with curiosity and shock. I banged the door again but it went unanswered again.

Me: Why am I feeling restless? (holds his left chest) I don't know what is happening.... Anika...... (banging the door) Anika open the damn door......

I couldn't keep up with my curiosity and broke the door open. I was welcomed with darkness again. What's with this darkness all around the place?

Me: Anika.... Where are you? Anika.....

I walked in and I stamped on something. With the help of the phone torch light, I looked and found the curtain under my shoes. I became confused. Curtain on the floor how? I looked around the house and saw it fully disoriented. Cushions, plates, glasses, vases, showpieces everything on the ground and shattered into pieces. A fear gripped my heart. Anika is in danger. I was about to go towards the kitchen when a sound stopped me. I looked around and found the noise coming from her room. I tip-toed slowly and the scene in front of me made me numb. Anika was lying unconscious with a bleeding wrist and head while someone was trying to force her taking the advantage of her condition. My blood boiled seeing it and just removed him from her and threw him on the floor hard. I took out my hanky and covered her slit wrist to stop it's bleeding.

Man(shouted in anger): Who are you to stop me?
Me(raged voice) : Her husband.....
Man(chuckled):Oh so you are that famous Shivaay of hers.
Me: Shivaay Singh Oberoi... Naam toh suna hi hoga....
Man: The famous business tycoon and the eligible bachelor of the year.... Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi..... Who doesn't know you.... But how come you are her husband and the world doesn't know about it?
Me: That's none of your concern..... (picks him up by the collar and throws him on the floor) But I guess you want to have a taste of your medicine for touching My wife......
Man(chuckled): You can't do anything to me.
Me: Then you haven't seen who SSO is.

I pounched on him and started hitting him and beating him. He was also giving me a tough time but I took over him. Meanwhile police arrived and was about to take him.

Man(raged voice) : I will come back..... I will not leave you so easily Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi..... You will have to pay for it...... Daksh will be back.....

Police took him away while doctor was checking Anika. I sat beside her.

*POV ends *

Shivaay: Anika will be alright?
Doctor: The injuries aren't too deep but she has lost a lot of blood. So she needs proper rest for a week. But......
Shivaay(scared voice) : But what doctor?
Doctor: I guess, she had a panic attack and then all this. It will effect her a lot mentally. I guess you should stay with her all the time Mr. Oberoi.
Shivaay: I will look after her doctor. But please don't.....
Doctor: Don't worry Mr. Oberoi.... I won't reveal about your relationship to anyone.

He smiled with gratitude and the doctor left. Shivaay stayed by her side for the whole night. Even during her nightmare, he was there for her holding her hand and carenessing her hair.

Shivaay: I stayed with her for the whole week without anyone's notice. But once had to go for some important work and then.....
Jayesh(holding his shoulder) : What had happened?

Shivaay went into flashback again.

*FLASHBACK STARTS*

On the third day, Khanna had informed Shivaay about some problems in the factory and he had to leave Anika alone for some hours. But he had never realized that these few hours of separation from her would create another new nightmare for her.

*Few hours later *

Shivaay returns and sees a huge gathering in front of Her house. He became confused but a fear gripped his heart thinking something bad happened to Anika. He rushed towards the house. He pushed past the people and the scene snatched his breath away. Anika was sitting on the floor exhausted and two women were holding her hands tightly.

W1: She is a black spot for the Society.
W2: I thought she is a cultured and well mannered girl. Though she is an orphan I thought she has a good character..... But who knew that behind this door, what all dirty works she used to do.
W1: She is a characterless woman..... Having relation with so many men. She is a gold digger.... Always behind money.....
W2: Blacken her face...... She deserves that....
Everyone(together): Yes..... Blacken her face.....

One woman holding black paint went towards her and was about to blacken Anika's face when Shivaay held her hand and jerked it away. He freed Anika from the women's hold and made her stand. But being too broken, her knees gave up and before she could fall down, Shivaay picked her up in his arms and hid her face in his chest. Seeing all these, the people of the chawl were shocked.

W1: Aaye, who are you?
W2: How did you enter the chawl and tried to interrupt us?
Shivaay: I'm Shivaay..... And....
W1(interrupting him) : Oh.... So you are one of her partners....
Shivaay(raged): Don't you dare speak like that about her.
W2: Why won't we speak like that? Oh ho.... Don't say that you have something.... Something for her....
Shivaay: Listen....
W1(cutting him) : No.... You listen.... We won't allow all these business here. We are very decent people and so is this chawl. It will be better if she leaves this place immediately otherwise we will have to throw her out.
Shivaay(raged voice) : You can't like that.... She.... (hears her taking deep breaths and feels her body turning cold...he looked at her) Anika.... (shaking her lightly) Anika.....

Without caring about the crowd, he was about to enter the house, but the women stopped him.

W1: No you can't enter here.
Shivaay(controlling his anger) : Please I am requesting you to move aside. She is not well. Please....
W2: She can't stay here anymore.
Shivaay(raged voice) : And who are you to say so.... Me and my wife will stay here and no one has the right to throw us out..... Am I clear? Now move aside.

Everyone was stunned hearing him. Shivaay went to her room and made her lie down and covered her with the comforter. He gave her the injection which made her slip into deep slumber. He started rubbing her hands and feet to restore her body temperature. Some of the ladies walked in.

W3: Are you speaking the truth? She is really your wife?
Shivaay(closed his eyes to control his anger) : Do you need a prove about it now? Wait let me show you. (showing her hidden mangalsutra and sindoor) Now satisfied. Please leave us alone. No need of any more words. Please leave.

He continued with his work while the ladies left them. Khanna entered after sometime.

Shivaay: Khanna, I want security around Anika's house. I can't take the risk of leaving her alone.
Khanna: Sir, I was thinking something.
Shivaay: Say na...
Khanna: Sir, why don't we shift Anika ma'am to the farmhouse which you had bought recently?
Shivaay(remembers it) : Yaa.... Why didn't it click me before? Let's move there. Make the required arrangements.
Khanna: Sure Sir......

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

Shivaay: From that day onwards, Anika stayed in my farmhouse and I would always stay with her in the night without anyone's notice. Her nightmares increased and my worries too. So I thought, I will keep her with me in the Oberoi mansion. I had already got to know about Tia's true face and was thinking how to stop her but seems like God was with me and she ran away from the marriage and I got married to Anika again. But I failed.... (sighed) Failed to protect her.....
Jayesh(squeezing his shoulder) : Don't worry Beta... She will make it through.
Shivaay(leans back on the chair) : I just hope so.... (closed his eyes) I don't have anyone other than her.....

Though he knew that Her condition was very bad when he had brought her to the hospital..... Bleeding head, cuts on her hands and feet, totally drenched in water.....

He sighed deeply and was praying silently for her safety. The ring of his phone broke his trans. He absentmindedly took the call.

*Phone conversation *
Shivaay: Hello.....
"Shivaay.... "
Shivaay: Om.... What happened?
Om: Rudra told me everything. Did you find Anika?
Shivaay: Yaa... She is being treated by the doctor.
Om: Which hospital?
Shivaay: Savetri hospital....
Om: I'm coming....

Doctor walks out of the examination room and Shivaay went towards him.

Shivaay: How is my wife Doctor?
Doctor: I don't want to give you false hopes.... But......

The doctor walks away leaving Shivaay in deep thoughts. Jayesh wanted to support him but backed away.

Shivaay: I'm taking Anika back to Oberoi mansion.
Jayesh: I guess you shouldn't do that.
Shivaay: Why?

Shivaay: Just say it....
Jayesh: I think there is someone who is behind Anika and trying to do all these. I guess, you should take her to your farmhouse and stay till she recovers.
