*Flight*
It was for the first time Anika was traveling by air and that too outside India. She was nervous and it was clearly visible on her face. Sahil was having a great time. He had his very own cabin all for himself. Anika was happy seeing his happiness. Her smile was radiating and that was giving the much needed peace to Shivaay.

Shivaay: Scared?
Anika(giving a nervous smile): Hmm.... First time traveling by air and that too out of India. I have only gone outside Mumbai that too once with you. Otherwise....
Shivaay(interlinking their hands and holding it firmly): Don't worry. I am there with you. Just hold me tightly whenever you feel scared. Okay?

She nodded and smiled lightly. He smiled too seeing her smile. Slowly the plane started moving. Her grip on his hand tightened. She looked out of the window and was thrilled about the whole thing. Slowly, it started gaining speed, she got scared. He saw it and pulled her towards him in a sidehug. She cluntched his shirt tightly in her fist and her eyes closed in fear. He carenessed her hair and tried to calm her down.

Shivaay(whispers): Sshh.... Cara....calm down. Everything is fine. Sshh.....

Finally, the flight took off. He looked towards the window and saw the beautiful Mumbai lights.

Shivaay: Cara....see how beautiful it is looking from above.

She slowly detached herself from him and looked through the window. It was indeed very beautiful. The whole Mumbai was looking as if it was lighted up with many many tiny lights.

Anika: Shivaay, it looks so beautiful from here. It looks just like small miniature.
Shivaay: At night it looks this beautiful. That is why I prefer to travel during night time the most. And see that..(comes closer to her)(pointing towards the Moon) It also looks so beautiful....
Anika(smiles): Yes.... The moon looks so big and beautiful.
Shivaay(whispers): But not more than you.....

She looked at him with side eyes and saw him to be so close to her. Heat rushed up to her cheeks making her blush lightly. As if bounded by her spell, he went towards her and kissed her cheek. Her blush intensified making him smile.

Shivaay(whispers): I will check on Sahil and come.

She just nodded her head not having the courage to speak. Giving her a smile , he went to check to Sahil.

*Sahil's side*

Sahil was in his own trip. He was busy playing and didn't realise that SSO had arrived.

Shivaay: Someone seems to be very happy.
Sahil(smiles widely): SSO.... This is so good. I'm enjoying it so much.
Shivaay(cares his hair): You are happy?
Sahil: Very happy.
Shivaay: Me and Anika are in the next chamber only. You can call us anytime you want. Okay?
Sahil: Okay. But I guess you both will be busy in doing romance.
Shivaay(fake anger): Sahil....
Sahil(showing his tongue): Sorry SSO. But...(serious voice) I really want something.
Shivaay: What Sahil? Just say.
Sahil: Jiju, my Anika didi has suffered a lot in her life. I don't remember my parents so much. From the time I have gained my senses to understand from that time Anika didi is my everything. My mother , father and elder sister everything. She has been taunted, rejected and what not. But she never broke until.....(Shivaay holds his hands tightly) Jiju.... I know only you can make her my old khidkitod Anika didi and give her the Love that has always craved for. (He is shocked) Please Jiju... I request you please.
Shivaay: Sahil.... Sahil.... I can understand what you are trying to say. And let me tell you one thing. Anika is very important for me. She is the one for whom I'm still here in the right state of mind. Sahil.... Anika is my life.... my everything. And I promise you Anika will never be alone. She will always find me beside her. I will never leave her hand.
Sahil: Thank You so much Jiju. I know you will always keep Anika didi happy.
Shivaay: Now, you wait for your dinner to be served. I will go to Anika. You will be fine?
Sahil: Don't worry SSO. I will be fine. Now leave me alone and let me play. You go and do romance with Anika didi.

He nodded his head in disbelief and went to his Cara....just to see that She was seeing something on the tv very eagerly.

Shivaay(sitting in his seat): Ahem... what are you seeing?
Anika: Sshh.... Don't disturb me.
Shivaay(tries to see): But what are you watching?
Anika: Sshh....

He gave a weird look and leaned on his seat and closed his eyes to get some peace.

Anika: Chiii....
Shivaay(eyes snapped open): What happened?
Anika: This lady is cheapdi.
Shivaay: Who? (Looks at the tv) Anika.... you were watching Hollywood movie? ( checks her forehead) Tumhara tabiyat toh thik hai naa?
Anika: Haa...woh.... (realises what was she doing and blushed due to embarrassment)
Shivaay(whispers): I never knew that My Cara... has become so naughty.
Anika(blushed more): Nothing like that.... I was just....

"Sir...", a voice interrupted them. He looked away from her and saw the airhostess standing with a smile.

Airhostess: What would you like to have in dinner Sir?
Shivaay(to Anika): What do you want?
Anika: Whatever you like.
Shivaay(whisper): Then I would like to have....(traces her cheek lightly)
Anika(shocked and shy): Shivaay....
Airhostess(gaining their attention): Ahem....
Shivaay(doesn't give a look): Cara..... Say what do you want?
Airhostess(jumping in between their conversation): Sir, would you like to have continental or spanish or.....
Shivaay(hard voice): I guess I am trying to have a conversation with my wife regarding something. It would be better if you leave us alone for now. We will call you later.

She gave a hard glare to Anika and went away. Anika looked at the airhostess and was confused.

Shivaay: What happened?
Anika: I guess she doesn't like me.
Shivaay(frowns): Why do you think so?
Anika: She gave a weird look before going. Strange.
Shivaay(angry): How dare she? Now see how I bring on the roads.....
Anika(holds his hand): Shivaay.... Let it be.
Shivaay: How can I leave her so easily? She has dared to give such looks to Shivaay Sing.....(he stops abruptly)
Anika(hugs him sideways): Shivaay.... please.....
Shivaay: I'm fine.
Anika(looks at his face): Are you sure?
Shivaay(smiles lightly)(interwind his fingers with her): As long as you are by my side, I can overcome everything.
Anika(sincere voice): I'm always with you, Shivaay. Always.

He smiled at her which she reciprocated with her ever bright smile. He kissed the back of her hand and tighten the hold.

Shivaay: So..
Anika(pouts): I'm hungry.
Shivaay(chuckled): Okay. ( calls the airhostess) One continental and one in...
Anika(cuts him in between): Two continental please.
Airhostess (different one): Sure ma'am. And dessert?
Anika: We will decide and tell.
Airhostess (smiles): Sure ma'am.
Shivaay(rises his eyebrows): What was that?
Anika(shrugging her shoulder): Nothing. Just trying to understand you food habit.
Shivaay(sighs): Cara...you don't need to...
Anika(cuts him in between): But I want to Shivaay. Do you have a problem? ( he nods no) Then from now onwards your favourites are my favourites too.
Shivaay(looks at her intently): Why are doing this Cara?
Anika(gets drown in his eyes): Because,I want to understand you Shivaay. I want to know who you are. Is it too much for me to know? This much right I have on you naa?
Shivaay: You have all the rights on me Cara.... All the rights.... You are my wife... My better half.... And my only family.
Anika: But Shivaay....
Shivaay(rubbing circles over her hand and eyes down): I know what you want to say. Papa and Mahi are my biological family and Oberois my..... (takes deep breath) But the truth is in spite of having so many people around me I felt alone until you came. Anika.... You are that angel in my life who brought some light in my boring dark life. Our silly cat fights, arguments (laughs lightly remembering it) were always my favourite. I can never forget those and I miss those. I want them back in my... in our life.
Anika(squeezing his hand): I promise Shivaay. It will return back to our lives soon.... very soon.

He smiles and kissed her hand again.

Anika(thinking): I can very well understand what you have gone through Shivaay and I promise to you that you will get all that you deserve. I promise. I like you so much Shivaay.... I like you a lot....

She smiled at him and their dinner arrived. Before she could even touch it he took the initiative and started setting everything for her. She was about to say that she can manage but his one look stopped her.

He knew what he was doing might sound funny to someone else but for him it was just nothing. He wanted to pamper her and he is doing that. Taking a small portion, he forwarded towards her mouth which she ate it without any tantrum.

She was just in a trans. He kept on feeding her and she kept on eating. She liked whatever she was having and she just enjoying it.

Anika: Aap bhi khayiye...
Shivaay: After you, I will eat.
Anika: But it will get cold by then. No...no.... I will feed you.
Shivaay: Cara.... it's fine. I will....
Anika(cutting him): No... I will feed you. ( see the sause bottle) Tobasco sause... you are allergic to it. Right?
Shivaay: Yes... how did you come to know?
Anika: I observed.
Shivaay: Really? Was it so simple to know about my allergies?
Anika(shrugging her shoulders): I'm just a bit too observant.
Shivaay(teasing smile): Really? So what else have you observed Mrs Shivaay?
Anika(shies): Shivaay..... let me feed you.

And with utmost love, she fed him while he did too. The airhostess were smiling seeing them and were in aww. Finally, after a lot of random talks and everything, they finished.

Shivaay: I will check on Sahil and come. Till then order whatever dessert you want.

She smiled at him and he went. She went through the menu and didn't understand what to order and then she remembered that he doesn't like sweet so much but she was really craving for something sweet. As if hearing her thoughts, an airhostess arrived and placed a tray in front of her that had a tall glass filled with ice cream and fruits. She gave her a confused look while she handed her a piece of paper. Anika opened it and read.

I understand you more than you understand yourself. Just enjoy and remember me.....

Awww..... isn't he the most sweetest husband of all? She smiled widely and took a bite of her 'Tooty fruity' and no doubt it was just so tasty. Her eyes closed enjoying it while someone looked at her with great peace and satisfaction.

*9 hours later*

Shivika along with our Sahil reached their destination.....London. More than being scared of the operation, Sahil and Anika were excited. Why wouldn't they be? For the first time they had the privilege to see around the world. Shivaay was just happy seeing them happy faces and the most interesting thing was Anika was in Shivaay's arms and she had given up in convincing him to let her take medical help. Walking out of the airport, they were greeted by Mr. Evan, who is Jayesh's one of the oldest business client.

Mr. Evan: Mr. Oberoi.... Welcome to London.
Shivaay(sad smile): I would prefer only Shivaay.
Mr. Evan: As you say.... Mr. Shivaay. So shall we proceed? I have already made all the arrangements.
Shivaay: Thank you so much Mr. John.
Mr. Evan: It is nothing. I'm happy that I'm able to help Mr. Joshi in some way. Whatever he has done for me is nothing in front of what I'm doing.
Shivaay(smiles): And this much help is enough for us.
Mr. Evan: No...No...I will look into your every travel plans till you all leave for India.
Shivaay(looks at Anika who nods her head): As you say Mr. Evan.
Mr. Evan: Oh just call me John. Mr. Evan makes me feel old.
Shivaay(chuckled): As you say.... John.
John: Let's get moving. I have fixed an appointment with the doctors tonight in your cottage.
Anika(confused): Cottage?
Shivaay: Yes. I thought it would be better if we take a temporary house for this time as it would be better for both you and Sahil.
Anika(smiles): You are so thoughtful.
Shivaay: I always was.....it's that you never acknowledged.
Anika: Now you don't need to show your tadi. Let's go. I'm very tired.
Shivaay(teasing): Of course.... after almost sleeping the whole flight, madam is tired.
Anika(tightens her hold around his neck and moves little towards his face): Yaa so? And it is your duty to keep me engaged but... you were into your stupid laptop.

Sahil saw them and thought of interrupting them when a snap of camera was heard. He looked around and found John clicking their photos. He left offended and asked.

Sahil(annoyed): Why are you clicking their photo?
John: Oh young man.... don't be angry. I was just sending it to Mr. Joshi. He said me to click every candid picture of this couple and send him. After all, they are very special for him. Trust me I have no bad intentions. ( putting his hands up)
Sahil(smiles widely): Then, even I'm also with you. You know uncle, my didi and Jiju are very romantic but.... they just can't accept this fact openly. I don't know when will they realise that.
John(looks at them): They will surely realise it and I have feeling that it will happen very soon.
Sahil: Let's just hope. Now we need to bring them back to the present otherwise they will remain in that position forever.
John: You are right young man. (Clearing his throat) Ahem....ahem....

Shivika came out of their dream land while Anika was just blushing due to embarrassment.

John: I guess we should be moving.
Shivaay: Yes....Yes.

John should them the way towards the car and there was another surprise for Anika and Sahil. The car was none other than a limbo.... Which they had always seen in movies. Anika was looking at it with wide eyes and seeing her Shivaay chuckled.

Shivaay: Seeing your expression, I will take that you weren't expecting this.
Anika(amazed): Of course not. Oh my God Shivaay..... this is my dream car which I always wanted to ride once in my life.
Shivaay: And I being a doting husband has fulfilled your small wish. So are you happy?
Anika(excited): I'm so happy.
John(interupputing them): I'm happy that you liked it Mrs. Oberoi.
Anika(smiles lightly): Mrs. Shivaay will be better.
John: As you say. So shall we?

He opened the door for them, and Sahil swiftly entered and occupied one of the seats leaving the long one for his jiju and didi. Shivaay with his utmost care made Anika sit and he settled beside her. John by that time had loaded their luggage and they set off to their new temporary house. During the whole ride, Sahil was the most excited among all. He was just looking out and capturing every bit of the city in his eyes. While Anika was no less. She was just the silent one and she didn't miss the hold on her hand and the occasional rubbing of the back of her hand, which was causing many butterflies to erupt in her stomach. Finally, after an hour they reached. They were in the outskirts of the city and it was so peaceful and calm.

Shivaay: Did you like it?
Anika(smiles): Yes. It is so calm and quite. And away from busy city life.
Shivaay: That is why I have selected this place. Chale?

She nodded and he again swiftly took her in his arms. They walked a bit and calm across a very beautiful cottage.

Though it looked old but perfect for them. And the most attracting thing was the garden. Full of different kinds of flowers and plants.

Shivaay: Liked it?
Anika(smiles): Loved it.
Shivaay: So should I but this for you?
Anika(shocked): Why? There is no need of spending so much money.
Shivaay: It's nothing Anika. I can buy anything for you.
Anika: No need. Shivaay..... now you need to save money and don't worry one day will surely come when we will have such a good house for ourselves.
Shivaay(looks at her intently): Why are so understanding?
Anika(calm voice): Because I'm your wife.
Sahil(interrupting them): If you are done with romance then can we go in?
Shivaay(shy): Yes.

John helped with the keys and they entered and a gasp escaped Anika's mouth seeing the interior.

She was just in love with the whole thing already. Her eyes kept roaming around the place and she couldn't hold herself to see the whole house. As if sensing her thoughts.....

Shivaay: Let's give you a ride through the whole house. What say?
Anika(amazed): How did you know what I wanted?
Shivaay(shrugging his shoulders): Just like that. Let's go. Sahil..... I bet you will surely love your room.
Sahil(excited): Really Jiju?
Shivaay: Yes.

They walked in to see the living room which looked elegant and classy.

Anika was pleased and gave him an appreciation look. He just smiled seeing her liking it. He led them to the kitchen which was Shivaay's paradise rather than Anika's. And no doubt it was beautiful.

Shivaay: So how is the kitchen? Comfortable enough?
Anika: Yes. But I'm sure I won't be spending so much time here. It will be you who is going to spend your ample amount of time.
Shivaay: That's true. But ..... nevermind. Let's see Sahil's room.
Sahil(excited): Yes.....Yes..... fast.

They laughed seeing his excitement. Shivaay walked up the stairs and they came across 5 rooms. He entered the first one and Sahil was just shocked.

Sahil was just amazed. How can SSO know about his fantasy?

Sahil: How did you come to know about my fantasy?
Shivaay: I'm your Jiju after all. So you liked it?
Sahil(excited): I loved it. (Sits up on the bed) this is so good. Thank you so much Jiju.
Shivaay: Okay........ okay young boy. In excitement don't fall down from the bed and hurt yourself.
Sahil: I won't fall. (He settled himself on the bed) Now you both can go and romance as much as you want.
Anika(fake anger): Sahil.....
Sahil(grinning): I was just.....
Shivaay: Let him enjoy Anika. I will show you our room.
Anika(whispers): Our room.....
Shivaay(whispers): Yes...... just like the way you always wanted.

She could understand that some big surprise is surely waiting for her. And as they entered the next room, she was just shocked......

King sized bed with royal interior, just like the way she was dreamed of. She looked at him and couldn't stop herself from kissing his cheek. He felt her lips and a shiver ran down his spine. His eyes closed to enjoy it while her eyes too closed to enjoy the moment.

Anika(whispers): Thank you Shivaay..... Thank you so much.
Shivaay(whispers ): I did all these to make you happy.... Cara.....You are very special for me.... very special......
Anika: And you too.....

Forehead touching and they are lost in their own land until someone knocked their door breaking their moment. Composing them, he made her sit on the bed softly, keeping a pillow under her sprained leg , went to open the door to see John. (Kabab me haddi...😅😅)

John: Sorry to disturb you Shivaay. I just came here to inform that the housekeeping ladies are here and I have told them whatever is necessary. I have said them to make lunch for everyone. Is it fine?
Shivaay: Absolutely fine.
John: Dr. Mathur, himself will be coming to check Sahil.
Shivaay: That is so great. By what time they will be here?
John: I guess by 10 at night they will be here.
Shivaay(to Anika): Is it fine?
Anika(nods): Yes.
John: Well, then you all freshen up. I will look into the lunch preparations.

Nodding at him, Shivaay closed the door. He came back to her.

Shivaay: Let me help you. Come.
Anika: Shivaay.....I will manage.
Shivaay: Cara..... doctor has strictly advices you not to walk for a week and I won't listen anything about it.
Anika(embarrassed): But how can.... You.....
Shivaay(rubbing her cheeks lightly): Cara.....we may not have taken our relationship to the next level but I guess we are this much comfortable with each other that we can help each other out in need. Aren't we?

Anika remembered the time when he had helped her to overcome the fears and nightmares of Daksh and how he had removed every bit of his bad touch with his. Her eyes got locked with his which was flooding with care, concern, respect and love which the Baggad billa isn't aware of. She nodded her head slowly accepting it. He smiled at her lightly. With utmost care, he took her to the bathroom and rest.......

*Night*

Everyone was waiting for the team of doctors to arrive. Shivaay was tensed regarding everything and was walking to and fro the living room. Sahil followed his steps and his eyes went this and that..... Anika saw him walking and just rolled her eyes.

Anika: Shivaay, what are you trying to do?
Shivaay(tensed voice): Cara.....I'm very tensed what the doctor will say about it and will Sahil be able to handle the operation or not. Everything.
Anika: Why don't you just sit down? Your walking is making me dizzy.
Shivaay(sits beside her instantly): You are feeling dizzy. Why didn't you tell me before? You know what you should take rest and I'll handle everything. Come....
Anika(holds his hand): Stop....(sees He is about to speak puts finger on his lips) Listen to me carefully. I'm totally fine. Your this pendulum motion walking was making me dizzy. Now please sit quietly.

He nods his head obediently and she smiled. Her finger was still on his lips. Somehow, they came closer to each other..... Very close..... their breaths were falling on each other's face. He held his hand and kissed on the finger making her shiver. His other hand went towards her cheeks carenessing it lightly. Their nose were touching making the air around them heated. They were about to move ahead when....

John(enters the house): Shivaay..... the doctor.....(sees them and closes his eyes) Oh my.....I'm so sorry.....I didn't see anything.

They left each other hurriedly and their cheeks were red due to embarrassment.

Shivaay(clearing his throat): Yes.... what were you saying?
John(peeks through his fingers): I can open my eyes now?
Shivaay: Yes.
John(sighs): Oh...... I almost ran into a PDA.
Sahil(confused): PDA? But they were roman.....
Shivaay(closes Sahil's mouth): John, where are the doctors?
John: Yaa, right here. I will just bring them. (Turned back and murmurs) Thank god I didn't bring them in. Otherwise...... (shakes his head) Horny couple.... no..... Cute couple. (Smiles)
Anika(covers her face): Oh god, this was so embarrassing.
Shivaay(holds her hands): Don't be embarrassed Cara....I think he knows that we aren't like that.
Anika: Still....I'm so shy now.
Shivaay(teasing voice): Your red flushed cheeks are the evidence of it.
Anika(blushes more): Shivaay..... please.

He laughs out loud and pulled her in his embrace. She hid herself in his chest to cover her blushed face.

*An hour later*
Dr. Mathur had checked upon Sahil and he was having a brief discussion with the other doctors. Shivika were tensed seeing their facial expressions. They were holding each other's hand tightly.

Dr. Mathur: Mr. Oberoi.....
Shivaay(smiles lightly): It's just Shivaay.
Dr. Mathur: Mr. Shivaay.... we have read the reports and even checked upon the patient and after discussing we have come to a conclusion that it is far more better than we had expected.
Shivaay(confused): Means?
Dr. Mathur: I mean to say that he became handicapped after an accident as Mrs. Anika said and we thought that his nerves would have been fully damaged but it isn't. His nerves have just become inactive and some are damaged which wouldn't be much of a problem for us.
Shivaay(happy): So you mean to say that......
Dr. Mathur(smiles): Yes.... he will be able to walk very soon and this operation isn't so severe at all.

Shivaay smiled widely hearing it. He looked at Anika to see her tears rolling down with a huge smile. She looked at him and he nodded his head as if answering to her unasked question. He hugged her tightly and kissing her hair showing their happiness. Anika couldn't even express how happy she is to hear about it.

Shivaay: Doctor when can we have the operation?
Dr. Mathur: Whenever you feel like. He just needs one month complete bed rest and after that his physiotherapy treatment will be done and after that his walking training. In around 6 months he will standing on his feet.
Anika(whispers): 6 months.... Shivaay.... my Sahil will be walking, running and playing like other kids.....
Shivaay(whispers): Yes Cara....our Sahil will be walking and I'm sure he will become a football prayer in future. I can see that very well.
Anika: Yes Shivaay. He always wanted to become one and....I hope his wishes come true.
Shivaay: It will.....it will.....
Dr. Mathur: Sorry to interrupt you both.
Shivaay: It's fine doctor.
Dr. Mathur: I just wanted to know when are you both planning to do the operation?
Shivaay(looks at Anika): Next week? (She nodded) Next week would be better.

And the week went off smoothly. Sahil was given all the moral support and even Anika was also fit and fine.

*Week later*
*Hospital*

Anika was in front of the idol praying for Sahil while Shivaay was walking to and fro the corridor. They are waiting for some good news that's it. Finally after such a tortuous wait of 6 hours, the doctors came out.

Shivaay: Doctor, how is Sahil?
Dr. Mathur (smiles): Congratulations Mr. Shivaay. The operation was successful.
Shivaay(smiles with tears): Really?
Dr. Mathur: Yes. We will shift him to normal wards within an hour and then you can meet him.
Shivaay: Thank you so much doctor.
Dr. Mathur: It was my duty. And I can't solely take all the credit. Sahil, himself was very strong throughout the surgery making it easy for us too.
Shivaay: Yes..... He is a very brave boy.
Dr. Mathur: That he surely is. I'll take your leave now. I will be visiting him during the evening time. You can meet him after he is shifted to normal ward.

Doctor went and Shivaay went towards Anika who was still in front of God praying. He slowly kept his head on her shoulder breaking her trans.

Shivaay: Operation was successful. Sahil is fine.
Anika(whispers): Saach?
Shivaay(whispers): 100%
Anika(looked up at the idol with moist eyes): You finally heard my prayers..... Finally. My Sahil is fine..... totally fine. He can walk now..... run now....play now. He is fine..... totally fine......

She slowly let go of her tears and her body was giving up in the strength. He held her sideways and she crawled into his embrace. He protected her and continued to wipe her tears which didn't want to stop at all.

Anika(sniffing): Finally..... Finally I'm able to rectify the mistake which I had done years back.
Shivaay: Which mistake Cara.....?
Anika: Sahil getting handicapped and his parents death is due to me..... Yes Shivaay your wife is a murderer. If at all I hadn't forced them for the balloon that day then I would have a family and Sahil would never had to be orphan. It is all because of me. But now when Sahil is all fine, I can't be more than happy.
Shivaay: Cara.....you aren't responsible for whatever happened in the past. It was just the game of destiny that you had to face at just a tender age and I am very sorry about them. I just hope I could have removed all your sorrows from your life forever. But I promise you Cara.....henceforth I won't let any kind of sadness or sorrow touch your skin and even if it does.....it has to first cross me to reach you.

So back to the chapter it is that.....
I find that people aren't interested in this book like they are for the others. Is there any particular reason behind it? If yes then please say. (Excluding the words like 'regular updates' or 'update fast'). I want genuine reason of not liking this book and I won't be feeling bad with any of the comments.

Secondly, People you all need to know that I'm not a free person....I'm a freaking medical student and if any of my readers is pursuing medical then she can understand what I mean by pressure of the course. So I request....no beg you guys that if I'm very late regarding updating that means I'm very busy in my professional life. And when I have started something I won't leave it midway. So please try to understand me and my schedule.
