(Fast Forward: As everyone got ready and had breakfast, they all left for the Malhotra Mansion, dropping Aaishaan to school along the way)

As Ishqi and Ahaan waved goodbye to Aaishaan after dropping him off to school, nervousness kicked inside Ahaan. Not nervousness but anger, sadness, hurt....Although he'd found out the truth about his grandmother around 4 days ago he still hadn't properly confronted her yet.

Ahaan had avoided her all 4 days, not just him but everyone in the family hadn't spoken to her once- They all were disgusted with what Dadi had done, it was inhumane and definitely not forgivable.

Ahaan still couldn't digest the fact that his grandma could do something as cruel as that only to satisfy her ego. He didn't show it in front of anyone but he was very deeply hurt, he had worshipped dadi his whole life, always supported her in her wrong or right decisions, he'd left his love and happiness upon her insistence, he'd lost Ishqi, his mother, his son...all because of the immense love and respect he had for dadi.

He had so much anger and frustration inside him that he knew would all explode as soon as he caught side of dadi- but whatever it was he was glad that he finally had his love beside him. Ahaan trusted and loved Ishqi more than himself, he knew with her by his side everything would ultimately be alright.

He looked over at Ishqi who sat in the driver's seat gazing at him, "I know you're not okay Ahaan, I know ke yeh saab aap ke liye kitna mushkil hai, but mein yeh bhi jaanti houn ke aap bohot strong hai and yeh saab bhi handle karleinge" she said in a soothing voice.

Ahaan reached out for her hand and firmly clasped it, "I know ke mein yeh saab handle karlounga but issiliye nahi ke mein strong houn but issiliye ke tum mere saath ho"

"Houn and humesha rahoungi, aab saab accha hoga, I promise" she smiled reassuringly-

Ahaan mentally thanked god for giving him Ishqi as a life partner, "Aab chale?" she asked-

He nodded and Ishqi started the car, they drove to the Malhotra mansion- When they reached there they saw everyone's cars already parked in the driveway.

Ishqi parked the car and both of them got out, "ready?" Ishqi asked him while he nodded and tightly held her hand. The door of the house was already open, they both walked in and went into the lounge where everyone was already seated.

Dadi being herself didn't even have an inch of repentance on her face but nervousness could be sensed from miles away. She didn't regret what she did with Savitri or Ishqi, or how she ruined the childhood of the kids who considered her above all- but she was scared as know everyone knew the truth.

Ahaan and Ishqi greeted everyone except Dadi and took a seat on the couch, there was silence in the room, they all had things to vent out but none of them knew how to begin. Ahaan glanced at his mother who had tears in her eyes, that gave him the courage he needed to speak, "Aap ne aisa kyun kiya dadi?" he asked his grandmother who was sitting there plainly. "mujhe toh aapko dadi bolte hue bhi sharam aarahi hai"

Upon getting no answer from Dadi he loudened his voice and said, "Dadi you can decide to remain quiet now but aapko police ke samne toh bolna hi pareyga so please, I'm trying to make this as easy for you as I can"

Dadi: P-Police? Tu apni buzurag dadi ko jail ki salakhon ke peeche bhejeh ga?

Kartik: Buzurg dadi ko crime karne se pehle yeh bhi sochna chahiye tha ke uss ke consequences kya hoge- he said coldly-

Kartik was furious at Dadi as well, she had hurt his brother beyond repair, she'd given him years of misery, she'd let him bear so many taunts for things that hadn't even happened. Ahaan, his brother had always been a pillar of strength and a role model for Kartik, no matter what the situation Kartik had always seen his brother being everyone's support- but these past couple of years he had seen that very same brother break in the worst way possible.

Kartik now just wished his brother would get all the happiness in the world, but he knew nothing could make up for what Ahaan had endured.

Ahaan: Dadi, mein akhri baar pouch raha houn, aapne aisa kyun kiya?

Dadi sighed and with no other choice left, other than to confess she began speaking, "Bees(20) saal pehle iss Savitri ki wajah se mere bete Veer ki mout hogayi! Meine ussko iss se shaadi karne se kitna roka, kitna maana kiya but pyaar ka naam de kar Veer ne iss Savitri se shaadi kar li aur tab se hi uss ki zindagi ke burre din shuru hogaye, woh sharab peene lag gaya, usski job chut gayi. Iss Savitri ke liye uss ne aapna saab kuch tabah kardiya aur yahi Savitri usse usske baache dour lekar jaa rahi thi! Divorce ke liye file kar rahi thi, mera beta issko rokne gaya aur usski car accident mein mout hogayi"

"Buss phir tab hi meine faisla kiya ke iss manoos ki wajah se mera beta mere se dour hua hai toh mein issko isske baachon se dour kardoun gi taake isse samaj mein aaye ke aulaad ko khone ka dard ka hota hai..." She finished and everyone had a horrified expression on their faces, "Auntie Ji, aapne yeh toh bataya nahi ke Savitri Ji aapke bete ko kyun chorna chahati thi" Sarla Auntie said, even she was shocked with this whole situation, she loved drama but this was way too much.

Dadi lowered her eyes and kept quiet, "Mummy ji kya baatai gi, mein hi baata deti houn" Savitri said with a tear-stricken face.

Savitri: Inka beta nashe ki halat mein mujhe janwaron ki tarah marta tha aur woh toh mein bardaast bhi kar leti lekin ek maa yeh kabhi bhi nahi bardaast kareygi ke usske baachon par koi haath uthai! Jaab inn ke bete ne mere baachon ko maara toh meine tab decide kiya ke mein unn se talaak loungi aur aapne baachon ko lekar yahan se bohot dour chali joungi-

Sonu side- hugged her mother, a few tears trickled down Ahaan's face while Ishqi clutched his arm tightly as assurance.

While silence spread the room as everyone was still trying to wrap their heads around the information they'd just received Kartik turned to his grandma and said, "Dadi, jo aapne tai ji ke saath kiya woh toh hum saab jaan gaye hai but jo aapne Ishqi ke saath kiya woh saab ko bataiye"

Ishqi shook her head in a "no" while looking at Kartik, this was noticed by Ahaan. "K-kya kiya tha aapne Ishqi ke saath?" Ahaan asked in a cracked voice while all the colour from Dadi's face drained.

This time Dadi went mum, "DADI MEINE POUCHA KE AAP NE ISHQI KE SAATH KYA KIYA THA?!" he yelled...Dadi still remained quiet, there was no way in hell she was going to reveal what she'd done with Ishqi in front of Ahaan, he'd found out about Savitri's matter slowly but if he discovered what she'd done with Ishqi Dadi was sure he'd hand her over to the police right there and then.

Ahaan turned to Ishqi, "Ishqi, tell me- kya kiya Dadi ne?" he asked her softly- "W-woh umm" Ishqi stuttered-

"Mein baatati houn" Savitri said-

Savitri: Mummy Ji ne meri baachi ko bhi maarne ki koshish ki, sirf ek baar nahi- dou dafa....sirf issiliye kyunke Ishqi ne mera saath diya!

"Aapne admiyon se Ishqi ko kidnap karwaya aur usski body mein poisonous drugs inject kiye! Kaise bhi kar ke Ishqi wahan se bhaag gayi....hum saab Delhi se move hogaye lekin phir jaab inn ko Ishqi dubara dikhi toh kissi ko ussko maarne ka contract de diya!, humein tab hi pata chala tha ke woh uss time Aaishaan ke saath pregnant thi! So iss se pehle kuch hota hum saab Canada move hogaye!

Everyone was shook and disgusted by Dadi, but Ahaan had an horrified expression on his face. Anger was brewing up inside him, his grandma had demanded that he left Ishqi and he did! but that was still not enough for her! She tried to end Ishqi's life! HIS ISHQI'S life was in danger and he wasn't there to protect her, the thought shattered his heart.

Ahaan stood up and glared directly at dadi and if looks could kill she'd be dead, Ishqi put her hand on his shoulder, "KYUN?!! AAPKE PAAS DIL NAHI HAI KYA! KYUN KIYA YEH, SIRF ISSILIYE KYUNKE ISHQI NE MAA KA SAATH DIYA?! SAACH KA SAATH DIYA?!"

Dadi: NAHI! Meine yeh saab issiliye kiya kyunke iss Ishqi ki wajah se saab kuch barbaad hona shuru hua tha! Saab kuch ek dum waisa hi chal raha tha jaisa mein chahati thi lekin phir iss kaali billi ne saab kuch tabah kardiya!

"Meine Savitri ko resort se kidnap karwaya lekin iss ladki ne usse wahan se bacha liya, meine Savitri ko kidnap karwane ki dobara koshish ki toh usse phir baacha liya! Har baar mere plan fail kardeti thi! Iss ki wajah se Ahaan ko mujh pe shakk hogaya, Kartik aur Sonu ko sacchai pata chal gayi!"

"SAARE FASAAD KI JARH YEH ISHQI HAI!" she yelled and angrily walked towards Ishqi while everyone shook their heads in disbelief over Dadi's confidence of declaring her crimes.

"TERI TOH MEIN!" Dadi yelled as she raised her hand to slap Ishqi, Ahaan pulled Ishqi behind him and yelled, "KHABAR-DAR! Ishqi meri wife hai aur mein bardaast nahi karunga agar usspe kissi ne bhi haath uthane ki koshish ki!"

Dadi's eyes widened and she took a few steps back, "Sharam aarahi hai mujhe aapko aapni dadi kehte hue! Aap ek baat sunn bhi lijiye aur samaj bhi, sirf Ishqi aur Maa ki wajah se mein aapko jail nahi bhej raha but agar aapne aaj ke baad meri family mein se kissi ko bhi nuksaan pounchane ki koshish ki toh aapke liye iss ghar mein koi jagah nahi reh gi!" Ahaan confidently declared while holding Ishqi's hand to his heart.

Everyone turned away from Dadi in disgust while she stomped away to her room. They all came together for a group hug, now their family was finally going to be complete.
