You have me!
Guess who's back???
Meeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!
I'm here to entertain you with my amazing chapters!!!! Woohoo!!
(Make sure to read till the end!! Important announcement!!)
Sana's P.O.V.
As usual, I woke up to see Abhi's arms wrapped around me. He looked like he slept after years. No way in the world will I let something wake him up!! He should get the sleep he deserves! (I know I got little aggressive at that part, I'm listening to Indiawaale, so that explains it.)
But because of my wrong timing, he stirred in his sleep. He jerked up and opened his eyes and he ran his hands though his messy and sexy hair. He looked at me, as if I was an angel with a halo above my head. I literally tried to check if I had a halo up there.
He grinned and I looked confused like an idiot.
My eyes were looking into his, trying to figure out what he was thinking about. I knew I looked like a mental person who fled away from the mental asylum.
He chuckled a bit and leaned in closer. His breath was fanning my neck.
"You look so cute when you make that face." He whispered into my ear.
I pushed him away and made that idiotic face again. He grabbed his iPhone from the table and snapped a pic of me.
I smirked at him and raised an eyebrow. He tried to imitate my face but failed so badly, that we both ended up laughing so hard.
I crawled up to him like a child and kissed him on his cheek.
He held my waist and pulled me which made me land on his lap.
I folded my arms around his neck and I felt his hands on my back.
He slipped the hair tie from my hair, and played around with my hair. I did the same with his.
"Sana, guess what?" He whispered in my ear again which made me shiver again.
"Your pregnant?" I jerked away and looked into his eyes.
"Haha, very funny!" He said sarcastically and rolled his eyes.
"Then what??" I made a serious face and shook his shoulders.
"We're going home, our home!" He smiled.
"What? So soon? No, Abhi I want to stay!!" I cribbed like a 5 year old.
"Haha, very funny part 2." He said in his sarcastic tone.
"Abhi I'm serious." I put my hands on my hips and looked at him with a stern face.
"How are you so good at expressions? You should be an actor!" He smiled again.
"I'm good at these expressions because they are true!! And I want to stay here!" I snapped with the same stern face.
"Ok for once, let's say I believe you. How can you bear anymore of this pain? Did you know what my aunts were saying about you? And I still can't figure out why you fainted suddenly and all these days you have been acting so weird. I know there is something hurting you, and despite all of this, you still want to stay? Why?" He said with pure concern in his eyes.
"Abhi, there is something I want to tell you, actually I've been wanting to tell you, but I was just waiting for this wedding to be over." I sighed.
He put his hands on my shoulders and said
"You know that you can tell me anything!" Prolonging the 'anything'.
"I don't think I'll be able to tell you right now. Can we go somewhere? Just you and me." I said.
"Of course baby girl. But you have a doctor's appointment today. How about a long drive?" He said.
I smiled and placed my hand over his.
----- in the car ------
Abhi's P.O.V.
Sana scrolled down the windows and stuck her head out. She seemed to be enjoying the ride. I played one of my favorite song "Sooraj dooba hai" from Roy.
I wanted to talk to her, but I was just waiting, for (as expected) the right time.
"Sana." I said.
"Hmm." She made it even more awkward.
"I guess you want to tell me something." I guess? I mean what? Is that even the right phrase?
"Oh yeah." She sighed and mustered all the courage to finally speak.
"These few days have been really bad for me. During the day, when you are out, the ladies-" She couldn't continue.
"Sana, relax and drink some water." I said and offered her cold water.
She gulped it down quickly and she looked much more relaxed.
"The ladies in the house- I mean your aunts, they made me work for them. Abhi, I don't know how to say this."
I was confused and my ears were eager to hear the next part.
"They treated me like a house maid. The whole day I ran here and there just doing house work and I didn't even have time to eat properly. And they even-" again she stopped talking and started breathing heavily.
I pulled over nearby in an empty lane and I got out of the car. I walked over to her side and offered her a hand, she took it as I helped her get out of the car.
We sat on the bonnet of the car. I put my arm around her shoulder encouraging her to speak.
"They gave me punishments, every time I did something wrong. Like they made my food spicy on purpose and I used to eat the same thing everyday. I had been accepting these punishments only because I thought that your family would accept me. I thought they were putting me to test, if I was capable enough to marry you and be yours. But I understood everything yesterday." She explained.
Tears were literally streaming down my eyes. I made the same mistake again. First with Kuhu, and now Sana.
"What happened yesterday?" I muttered.
"After you brought me home from the wedding, some aunt of yours ask me to make her dinner. I was not feeling well, and I told her I couldn't. She called her son and- and- he phy-physical-physically abused m-me." She stammered.
She broke down and buried her head in my chest, I too was crying.
She wiped her tears and brought out the strong Sana inside her.
"Just like how I was abused before. He hit me with his belt and--" she couldn't say anymore.
"Sssh!!" I shushed her while crying.
We gave each other a bone crushing hug. And I crashed my lips with hers. At first she didn't respond. I continued kissing her and poured all my love and apology in that kiss. I don't know what it was, maybe she felt my love and she kissed me back very roughly. We pulled away to take a breath. And the sad mode of ours turned into a much positive one. Our lips had curved into a little smile.
We walked back to the car and finally made it to the hospital.
The doctor took few tests, even blood tests. I couldn't bear to see Sana go through all of this. But she was indeed a strong girl. She faced everything so strongly.
After those tests we were called in the doctor's clinic.
"Ok so, the good news is that everything is fine with Sana now, and she just had a lot of stress and pressure on her. And the vomiting is just due to food poisoning, which means she's been eating something she is not used to. The bad thing is that we have to increase her dose, because this attack can worsen her asthma. So she has to take her meds without fail." The doctor explained.
"Thank you doc. And don't worry, I won't let her asthma worsen." I proudly said and held Sana's hand as I gazed her amazing eyes.
We were on the way home and all these events flashed through my mind.
"Abhi, the reason I don't wanna leave is that I want you to settle things with your family. No matter how they are, they are still family. Just clear everything and then we'll leave from here, happily." She said.
"Sana, I know you have a heart of gold, but I don't even want to face my family anymore. They are all dead to me now!" I screamed in anger.
"Abhi, have you watched Prem Ratan Dhan Payo?" She asked.
"What? Is this the time to discuss Salman Khan movies?" I raised an eyebrow.
"There was a line in that film by Salman, "Har Family Main Problem Hai, Par Woh Khush Naseeb Hain Jinki Family Hoti Hai." (Every family has problems, but those are lucky who have a family.")
"In this case, you are very lucky Abhi. I don't even know where my family is right now..... I don't even know if they are dead or alive!" She said.
I felt really bad for her.
"Who said you don't have a family? You have me, you have Tia and Rohan! You have us." I kissed her.
"But Sana, may I ask you something?" I asked.
She nodded.
"You never spoke about your family, I'm sorry for bringing this up, but there are lots which you haven't told me yet." I said.
"It's ok, you should now about this." She said and gave a weak smile.
"I was born in a rich family. The Singhania's! We had everything in our lives. We looked like a perfect family from far, but my parents hated me. They treated me like I was an illegitimate child. Why, you ask? Because I brought bad luck to them. When I was born, their business started going downhill and as I grew up they were already bankrupt. When I was 12, they gave me away to a poor farmer and his wife. They took good care of me, but one day, I was out playing with my new friends and the house caught on fire. They both died. Just like you, I worked at a very young age, and I earned myself a scholarship." She explained.
I felt very grateful and felt equally sorry for Sana. I fell in love with Sana even more.
