Cabir saw Nandani and screamed "Sir aapko inki kasam *pointing towards Nandani* you would appoint me for this post..."

Nandani got startled with all this she was not at all expecting that she would become the centre of attraction here. While Manik's jaws tightened seeing Cabir pointing towards Nandani, he glared in Cabir direction.

Guards were going to take Cabir away from Manik's cabin when Manik roared "leave him". Nandani looked towards Manik as his voice was showing his anger. "You may leave" said Manik looking towards guards.

Guards at once left Cabir and finally Cabir heaved a breath feeling relieved with all this chaos. After guards left, Manik said in a dangerous tone "how do you dare to bring" but Cabir cut him.

"Can you continue this after few minutes Sir?" said Cabir looking towards Manik. Manik was going to charge him but then only Cabir sheepishly smiled looking towards Nandani and murmured "sorry" holding his ears. Nandani smiled seeing him holding his ears and said "no problem".

"Vaise I would not have bring you in all this but what to do this job is very important for me and my wife but he was not understanding." said Cabir apologetically.

Nandani glared looking towards Manik direction and said "I was expecting this only from a person like him" and then looking towards Cabir she continued "Don't worry not only this but in reality he can't understand anything. But anyways, if it would have in my hands, I would have appointed you for this post."

Manik got sad listening this, he thought that obviously if Nandani would have said once I would have appointed that new guy for any post without any second thought. But why do she thinks like I don't care for her?

"But now I am appointed for this post so don't worry" said Cabir giving a smile in her direction.

Nandani felt sorry for this guy. "Sorry to burst your bubble but I know he would not appoint you for this post!! Morever I am not this much important for him that he would appoint you just because of that kasam thing." said Nandani in a rude tone.

"Obviously you are important for me Nandani!! I don't have anyone else to count as my family other than you. I was going to scold him to bring you in all this but he would have been surely appointed for this post as you matter to me a lot!!! " thought Manik..

Cabir make a sad face hearing this that his job is not sure now also after so much drama. Seeing his sad face Nandani said "you are lucky that you don't have to work under this saduu boss."

"Ssshh" said Cabir putting finger on his lips. "Your job would be in difficulty if he would hear this" said Cabir with concern...

"Huh!! Boss honge tumhare, mere nhi" said Nandani and stormed out from his cabin in anger.

"Wah I like her attitude!!" praised Cabir in his mind and then he turned towards Manik who was looking towards door where Nandani had left from.

Cabir thought that may be now his boss would be angry on that poor girl. But he don't have an idea here the poor soul is Manik not Nandani!!

"Sir I would not insist you to appoint me but please don't be angry on her. She was just concerned for me. I would take leave then." said Cabir and turned to go.

"Take your appointment letter from the reception. Meet you tomorrow at sharp 9 a.m." said Manik before Cabir can left the room.

Cabir was freeze hearing this, he turned towards Manik and asked "Sir have you said anything?" In return Manik give him a glare.

"I am going. I am going don't give me these glares. I think so mere kaan baj rhe h aaj" said Cabir confusingly and turned to leave.

"Gawddd Mr. Cabir Dhwan" said Manik controlling his temper.

Cabir slowly turned that whether he really had called him. "You are appointed for this post take your appointment letter from the reception. Meet you tomorrow at sharp 9 a.m." said Manik with tight smile on his face.

"Really I have got this job!!! Thank you sir!" said Cabir with excitement. "But one thing Mr Dhawan I didn't like that you drag Nandani in all this. In future don't try to do this ever." said Manik in stern tone.

"Sorry Sir and I would keep this in mind!" said Cabir. "You may leave now! I don't have whole day for you." said Manik.

"Sure Sir!" said Cabir smilingly and left his cabin. "Vaise itne saduuu boss bhi nhi h jitna show krte h" thought Cabir smilingly...

"Am I the villain in my story? Jisko dekho sochta h I am rude one that new guy Cabir too thought like I would be angry on Nandani. Am I that bad? In reality I don't care what others think about me but I do care when it comes to Nandani. Why she thinks like she is not important for me? How can I make her show how much important she is for me?" thought Manik...

After Cabir left Manik didn't had any interaction with Nandani, he even looked for her in her cabin but she was not there too. He tried calling but her number was switch off. "May be she had left" thought Manik dejectedly...

In evening he left early as he was tired already due to travelling and then the piled up work in the office had drained him out. When he entered in his mansion he saw no trace of Nandani. "May be she would not be coming" thought Manik getting sad. He thought to call Aryaman once after he would reach home.

While he was getting fresh, someone rang the bell. A smile broke on his lips, the first thought that came in his mind was "may be Nandani had come, hopefully she is giving me a chance."

But as soon as he opened the door all his happiness flew away. He was shocked to see the person standing in front of him.

When he didn't respond for a minute the lady standing in front of him make a face and said "Khote the puttar, hatt mere saamne se andar aane de mainu." Pushing Manik, the lady entered in his mansion.

Due to the push Manik got stumbled and he turned towards the lady and asked "Dai ma aap?"

"Shukr h tainu yaad hu mai abhi bhi" said the lady sarcastically...

"Dai ma, How can I forgot you? Aap bhi na" said Manik and touched her feet.

"Jeeta reh puttar... Pr teri harkate aisi lg rhi thi jaise tu mainu dekh kr khush nhi h. Jyada dinn k liye nhi aayi h teri ye dai ma." said the lady blessing Manik.

"Dai ma aapne btaya nhi tha aap aane wale ho, mai bss shocked tha aapko dekh kr but that doesn't mean I am not happy seeing you." said Manik...

"Yaad aa rhi thi teri puttar toh socha mil kr aa jau tujhse" said Dai Ma lovingly....

"Bhot acha socha aapne ye Dai ma. I was also missing you!!! Ek aap hi toh ho jisse fikr h meri" said Manik sitting on his knees holding her hand.

"Rhne de puttar ab makhan na lga. Jab se shadi hui h kitni baar call ki h tune, ye bta?" asked Dai Ma.

"Dai ma kya btau ab aapko meri life mai kya kya tufaan aaya h shaadi k bad" thought Manik...

"Voo Dai ma kaam jyada tha office k toh bhool gya tha" said Manik making a excuse.

"Pta h pta h tu aur tera kaam... Bahu se nhi milwayega? asked Dai Ma looking around to see trace of his wife.

"Bahu se?" asked Manik gulping saliva...

"Puttar apni biwi se.. Mujhe bahu se milna h dekhu toh meri bahu kaisi h.. Teri unn chipku ladkiyo jaisi toh nhi h na." said Dai Ma raising her concern.

"Dai Ma Nandani aisi nhi h, aap usse dekhengi toh khush ho jayengi" said Manik smilingly...

"Ohoo tu kabse tareefein krne lga kisi ki" asked Dai Ma resulting Manik to flushed in embarrassment... "Puttar mujhe umeed h voo sbse alg hogi tab hi tune usse shadi ki vrna tu itne asaani se shadi k liye maan jaaye mujhe abhi bhi vishwas nhi hota. Vaise bahu kahi gyi h?" asked Dai Ma....

Hearing this Manik got confused what to tell her and how to tell her. For now he thought to make an excuse so that she would not be worried. "Voo Dai Ma Nandani kuch dino k liye apni friend k ghar gyi h." said Manik making a sad face...

"Friend k ghar?" asked Dai Ma confusingly...

"Ha Dai Ma uski friend ki tabiyat kuch jyada kharab thi aur voo akele thi toh issliye Nandani thought to help her till the time she gets fit and fine." said Manik smiling that finally he had made a good excuse...

"Voo toh thik h puttar pr mai toh bahu se milne hi aayi thi!" said Dai Ma getting sad..

"Dai Ma aap mujhse milne nhi aaye the? Bahu k aate hi mujhe bhool gye aap bhi ab... Huh" said Manik crossing his hand on his chest...

This make Dai Ma smile, she caressed his hairs and said " Tu hi toh h eklota mera iss poori duniya mai. Tainu toh mai chah kr bhi bhool nhi skti."

Manik smiled and kept his head on her lap, closing his eyes he asked "Dai Ma fir aap mere saath ku nhi rhti? Ku akele rhte ho aap? Beta bhi bolte ho aur fir mujhe kuch krne bhi nhi dete aap apne liye."

Dai Ma said emotionally "Puttar tujhe pta h na mai tujhse." But she stopped hearing the door bell...

"Iss waqt kon aaya h ab?" asked Dai Ma... Manik shrugged his shoulder not knowing who had came at this hour...

"Puttar tu ab unn chipku ladkiyo se door rhta h na?" asked Dai Ma raising her eyebrow...

"Dai Ma aap bhi na!! Let me check who is there!!" said Manik and went to check.

"Puttar agr koi ladki hui toh dekh liyo!!" said Dai Ma in warning tone... Manik shakes his head listening this and opened the door and seeing the person he got mystified...

"Nandani tum?" asked Manik becoming shocked + happy... But before Nandani could reply, Dai Ma asked "kon h Puttar?" which make Nandani snapped her face towards the voice...

Manik give the space so that Nandani could enter. Looking towards Nandani, Dai Ma tried to read her face. While Nandani was totally unknown that who is she.

Manik hold Nandani's hand and bring her near to Dai Ma and then looking towards Dai Ma he said "Dai Ma she is Nandani" *then looking towards Nandani* he continued "Nandani ye meri Dai Ma h."

Hearing this Nandani instantly bends down and touch her feet taking her blessings. "Aree puttar nhi" said Dai Ma and make her stand.

"Mai Manik ki Dai hu bss tainu mere per chune ki jarurat nhi h" said Dai Ma carenessing her cheeks.

"Pr Manik aapko Dai Ma bol rhe h, toh aap ma jaisi hi hui na Manik ki" said Nandani smilingly.. Dai Ma's eyes got filled with tears...

"Voo toh aise hi puttar bachpan se yhi bolta h ye... Adat nhi gyi isski abhi bhi" said Dai Ma...

"Aap maa se jyada ho mere liye" said Manik lovingly...

"Ye sab baatein abhi na kr... Mujhe meri bahu ko dekhne de phle ache se" said Dai Ma and pushed Manik...

Nandani got nervous she had never experienced all this in her life ever that someone is analyzing her face. "Am I looking good enough?" thought Nandani becoming conscious suddenly...

Manik stands beside Dai Ma and encircled his hands lightly over Dai Ma's neck so that now he could too looked towards Nandani... He smiled when he noticed Nandani is nervous with all this and thought "mere saamne toh Jhansi ki rani bani firti h ab kya hua isse."

After good 2 minutes of analyzing, Dai Ma said "Hayee kinni sodi kudi h, ek dam chand k tukda!!" Listening this Nandani blushed down and put the hair strands behind her ear... Manik too bite his lips controlling his smile..

Dai Ma take out a hundred rupee note from her purse and placed it in Nandani's hands... "Aap ye?" asked Nandani...

"Shagun h Puttar shadi mai toh aa nhi paayi jldi jldi k chakkar mai issliye muh dikhayi smajh kr rkh le!!" said Dai Ma smiling...

Nandani looked towards Manik who nodded his head. "Vaise puttar ye khush toh rkhta h na tujhe? Pareshan toh nhi krta na?" asked Dai Ma...

Nandani looked towards Manik who was now not looking at her and said "Nhi Dai Ma, Manik bilkul bhi pareshan nhi krte mujhe."

"Vaise Puttar tu itni late kyu ho gyi aana tha toh jldi aa jaati" said Dai Ma...

"Dai Ma office main kaam zyada" said Nandani...

While Manik too at the same time said "Nandani ki friend thik ho gyi."

Nandani and Manik looked towards each other while Dai Ma got confused by the different answers they both spoke at the same time...

"Puttar tu toh apne dost k pass gyi thi na?" said Dai Ma...

"Dost?" said Nandani looking towards Manik not knowing what she had to say...

Manik intervened before Dai Ma could charge another question to Nandani. He went close towards Nandani and putting his arm around her shoulder he brings her more close towards him. "Dai Ma voo actually Nandani ko adat nhi h mere bina rhne ki na. Issliye jldi aa gyi hogi hai na, Nandani?" asked Manik smiling...

Listening this Nandani glared Manik but then she smilingly looking at Manik's direction and said "Manik if you want I can go back to my friend again you know."

Hearing this reply the colour of Manik's face got drained out. He hold her more tightly and smiling nervously he said "Dai Ma voo mai Nandani ko miss jyada krta hu."

"Hayee kitni pyari jodi h!!!! Rabb tum donno ki Jodi hmesha salamat rkhe" said Dai Ma adoring them as they were looking like a cute love sick puppies...

"Puttar fir bhi agr kbhi ye tujhe daanta h kisi cheez ko bhi le kr ya fir jhagdra krta h toh tu mainu btaiyo maine fir iski khabar leni h ache se" said Dai Ma... In return Nandani nodded her head but a smirk was on her face...

"Dai Ma how would you know yha kon kisse daanta h aur kon jhagdra krta h? By the way Nandani akele hi kafi h meri khabar lene k liye" thought Manik chuckling on his thoughts...
