I am in love with my Nandini!!!

Really am I?

I don't know just that am I really in love?

Is this is what Love is?

But why was this happening with Nandini? What did Nandini do to deserve this?

She is one of the purest soul I have met in my life. I don't think so she have ever thought bad about anyone.

Then that shot!!

Who can it be?

Tears started spilling out from my eyes which I have been controlling so far thinking about her pale face.

I came out from my trance then only as I saw that lady coming out from room where Nandini was lying... I run towards her and bombarded her with my questions "Is she all right? Nothing had happened to her right? Is she conscious now? Can I meet her?"

"Calm down son... I have treated her wounds and you are lucky that the bullet was just passed through her arm but her body is cold and numb. We have to wait for tomorrow." said the lady patiently..

"Wait for tomorrow? She is going to be alright... Right!!" asked Manik hoping to get a good news..

"Don't worry son!! Hope everything would be alright till tomorrow.." said the lady consoling him..

"Hope everything would be alright means?? Is there any problem? " asked Manik..

"I can't say anything until she get conscious.. We have to wait for tomorrow morning" said the lady..

"I can't sit and wait for tomorrow morning if anything happened to her then what would I do??" said Manik being scared.. He covered his face with his hands... "I.... I have to rushed her to nearby hospital.. Yes!! I have to" continued Manik and was rushing to her room...

But Albert stopped him and said "I don't think so that would be a good idea.. I have just went outside and saw that snow is falling... It would not be good for both of you to go outside at this moment of time..."

The lady nodded and said "Son, that would be risky for that girl, already her body temperature is low and if you go outside then I am scared she would not able to cope up with that temperature... Moreover, hospital is not near to this area you don't know how much time it would take you to reach to hospital plus you too are wounded. Do you think you would be able to manage all this? It would be good to stay here..." said the lady trying to make him understand..

I thought over this and they were saying right. Nandani's body is already cold and it would be more risky to go outside at this moment of time. I just nodded silently and entered in the room where Nandani was lying...

When I entered the room I saw one corner of the room was having firewood which was lightened so as to keep room warm.

Then my eyes fell on Nandini, her petite frame lying on bed with no emotions on her face. Her arm was bandaged properly. I had to resist the urge to stop the tears that were brimming in my eyes as I dropped my knees beside the table..

Her eyes were closed and she was laying still.

"Nandani!" I whispered gripping the edge of the bed. But no response!!!

"Nandu!" I said once more... But then also no response...

I started carenessing her forehead with my left hand and my right hand was holding her cold hand..

"You try your ways to irritate me alot!!!" I said in complaining tone looking at her..

"Tum na meri koi bat nhi sunti.. Bss jab dekho apni marzi k krti ho.. Bola tha maine na we should not do any adventure and we should be together but nhi tum mera kehna maan jao ek baar mai ye kaise ho skta h.." I continued while entwining her fingers with mine...

"Okay, okay!! don't be pissed of me, it was my mistake I accept!!! " I chuckled lightly saying this as I thought if Nandini would have been fine now then surely she would have glared me now for blaming her...

"Neither I have pulled you nor we have been rolled down nor all this would have been happened!!!"

"I am sorry Nandini!!!" I apologised kissing her knuckles..

I tried to save you from that bullet but unfortunately I am responsible for your this state... Please forgive me!!!

I had never any intention to hurt you!!

Believe me!!

But I know I had hurt you that too very much, I should have told you about everything before marriage. 

I.. I am sorry Nandini!!

But I promise Nandini from now onwards nothing like such would happen ever!!!!

Then only that lady came inside with some oil.. She looked towards me and may be she had noticed my eyes that were filled with tears. She said "don't worry I would try my best your wife would be safe, Have faith on God!!"

The lady sit beside Nandini and started massaging her forehead with that oil thing.. I was looking towards her what she is doing and then I said "Would she be better by applying this?"

"Hopefully son!!" Said lady smilingly..

"I would do this then, give this to me" I said immediately..

"But" the lady was going to say but I interrupted and said "she is my wife.. it's my duty plus responsibility.."

Then she handled me the bowl and asked me to applied that on hands and legs too.. She asked me for dinner but I politely refused...

She turned to leave but then she stopped, then turned and said "She is very lucky to have a husband like you"

"I am lucky to have her in my life" I confessed looking at Nandini's face... The lady smiled and left the room.

Manik sit besides Nandini and started applying that oil on her sole.. He started massaging and rubbing her cold toes.. After few minutes he observe that her toes were at normal temperature than before...

In the same way he started massaging the palms of her both hands... Then after few minutes he started massaging her head as the lady was doing earlier... He was observing that her body temperature was better than before...

While rubbing his palms on her palms he confessed you know Nandini you were the only girl in my life who was able to beat my heart... From day 1, I was eager to keep you in front of my eyes.. I wanted to start my morning by seeing your face..

I was too much possessive for you!!!

I... I know.. I have done lots of mistakes in my life!!!

Punish me for that, slap me, fight with me, argue with me, glare me do anything you want to do but please don't do this!!!

Please open your eyes!!!!

You... You would not open your eyes, too much stubborn you are!!!

See you never listen!!

I got it now you are taking revenge na just because what I have done!!!

But,

Nandu this is not fair!!!!

Ask me to do whatever you want me to and I would do it for you!!!!

Chalo now open your eyes, fast!!!

You are not trusting me, right!!

Okay then today I, Manik Malhotra promise that I would do what ever Nandini Manik Malhotra would ask me to do!!!!

Nandu promise!!!

I would do whatever you want, I would do anything for the sake of your happiness... But please don't ask me to leave you, except that I would do anything which you want, anything means anything Nandu!!!

"Nandu get up na now how much more long would you sleep?" He said carenessing her forehead..

Acha you know Nandu I have to say something, may be I am in love with you!! But I am confused!!

I don't know that am I really in love or this feeling is something different.. But I haven't had this feeling for someone else other than you...

I had to know about this feeling that Is this what love seems to be?

Because I don't want to hurt you this time by telling any lie.. I had to discover about this new feeling bss tum ek bar jldi se thik ho jao..

And the whole night passed like this Manik talking with her asking her to open her eyes or confessing something or other thing...

Could you believe the guy who was more interested in having some actions rather than having some talk had talked whole night?

The guy who have hurt her to extreme was now caring her!!! Isn't this love word strange?

It changes you drastically but you have no idea that you are changing!!!

Don't try to change people,
Just love ❤️ them
Love is what would change them!!!
