Into Your Arms

Flashback:

"I won't cook for you." She huffed.

"I will cook for both of us." He smirked.

"I want to live alone with my husband. No joint family." She whined.

"I want that too." He smiled, shrugging.

"I don't want to give birth to kids." She said suggestively.

"We'll adopt one." He winked.

"I want a husband who loves me." She pouted.

"That would eventually happen. Don't worry." He said with a smug look.

"I want to work after marriage." She said firmly.

"Of course you will do. Do you think of me as a man who won't let his wife work after marriage?" He exasperated.

Her dark brown eyes finally met his black ones. They were hidden behind his black messy hair that were falling on his forehead as he had run his hand through them hundreds of times. It was hard to find those because of his thick hair, but she finally found her way.

His hands were adjoined between his thighs as his legs were parted away due to them sitting on the stairs. She was on the support of the wall while he was in support of railing.

"Tell me one thing, Anaisha, what exactly is the problem in you marrying me?" He finally questioned, looking at her with raised eyebrows.

"Because it's weird, Vivaan. I am scared. She was scared about marrying a man who was my classmate and how I would have to spend the rest of my life with him." She breathed out, shaking her head in frustration.

"Is this reason enough for you denying our marriage proposal? Come on, tell me. All I have been listening to for two weeks is you giving me these childish reasons. One valid reason, and I won't pressure you." He declared, raising his hands in surrender.

"Don't think I don't know that these reasons are childish. It's just that I had never imagined you as my life partner. Like, who can even imagine that you'll marry me someday when in school time you used to make fun of me playing volleyball. Or that I had these big spectacles which you always teased me about. You even ate my lunch so many times when you were my bench partner." She shook her head.

"Are you complaining about what all I did to you when we were kids or telling me that you're saying no in a way?" He asked with raised eyebrows directed towards her.

"I don't know." She mumbled, cheeks red due to embarrassment.

"Do one thing. Hug me." He said all of a sudden.

"Huh?" She asked, dumbfounded.

"Just do it, na." He encouraged opening his arms.

And with she wrapped her dainty arms around his comparatively big frame, she felt awkward at first. Their hug was awkward. She could feel his manly cologne that she'd discovered when they first met after so many years, that too for a marriage proposal. And then she felt him wrapping his arms around her lean frame, and she relaxed in return, now hugging him freely.

"How do you feel?" He questioned in between.

"Good." She let out a mere whisper, making him smile knowingly.

"And now?" He again asked, pulling her even closer.

"Mhm." She nodded.

"Then tell me one thing, what's stopping you from agreeing?" He asked, pulling apart only because he wanted to look at her.

"What would you think if I said that I feel weird because of all this?" She asked softly.

"There's nothing wrong with that, Anaisha. I, too, feel weird at this thought, but we also need to think about the future, right? Instead of marrying someone else, I think it'll be better for me to marry you. Simple as that." He shrugged.

"You'll not be able to bear with me for more than a week." She again started her reasoning, giving him a known look.

"Why don't I take the chance and see about that?" He smirked, making her let out a giggle.

Flashback ends.

Staring at his sleepy form as his mouth was slightly parted open, drool almost falling out, legs laid out in such a way that one was even reaching at her side, not leaving much space, she pouted but kept looking.

Dang, he was such a heavy sleeper, she realized.

Sweatbeads were forming on his forehead, and she lowered the temperature of the AC so the room could turn more chilly. And then she was back to looking at him dreamily.

"Ana, it feels so cold. Increase the temperature of AC." She heard him mumble hoarsely, making her stumble back a little due to the shock.

She did this for his comfort and looked at him complaining!

And then a smile formed on her face as she heard him call her Ana.

He had said this first ever time when they were being intimate. And that was last night as it was just 5 in the morning.

She didn't realize when their wedding happened. She was now Vivaan Kapoor's wife. Mrs. Vivaan Kapoor.

Everything happened in a blur. Whether it was the shopping or preparations or the rituals. It felt like a change through time machine. As if she hadn't experienced all that.

The next day of the wedding had only included the remaining rituals and them sleeping throughout the day because of tiredness. And after this was their first night after being married.

She doesn't remember how things got heated between them the previous night. Maybe it was when he had gotten out of the bathroom wrapped just in a towel, droplets of water still visible on his chest.

He wasn't perfect with the 6 pack abs or hard biceps. Though he had a nice physique, no fat oozing somewhere and with a broad chest that she remembered very well.

Or maybe things got heated when he saw her in that pair of silk camisole and a pair of silk shorts that her best friend had specially made her buy for her wedding night. That thing barely covered her body as it was spaghetti straps and deep cleavage one.

Only she knows how insecure she felt wearing it. She wasn't a zero figure woman. She had a flat stomach, but that would all change once she sits or anything. Her long legs were one thing she loved, but her small breath and small hips would burst the bubble of her happiness.

And all of that vanished away as soon as both of them took steps towards each other, gaze settled on each other, feeling shy towards each other yet their lips met in a slow, sensual and melting kiss.

She felt as if she would form into a puddle due to the newfound feelings and pleasure but that changed once she felt him picking her up from her thighs and she wrapped her legs around in his waist in return.

She was shocked to be an understatement. She never believed or expected that he would be able to lift her. But a big blush was coating her cheeks as she realized their closeness.

He was too gentle with her. She barely felt any pain that her mother told about. He felt so good throughout that she didn't want him to stop. The feeling of his broad chest pressing against her breasts was so good that she kept hugging him when he was pounding into her so sensually.

And the best part was the bath he prepared for her. There was a bathtub in the adjoined bathroom. It could hold two people easily, but not more than that. Because of this, she was basically sitting on his thighs as he rubbed her with the loofah and honey scented body wash.

She was embarrassed thinking how heavy her body must be feeling to him. And then when he whispered those words to her, she completely realaxed.

"I have never seen such a beautiful woman in my life. And I can not be more happy that that woman is my wife."

She felt hideous when he first glanced at her breasts. One thought that crossed her mind was how he must be thinking that she has such small boobs?

And that thought flew away once she heard him whisper, so perfect.

She kicked his leg away as she couldn't feel the comfort, but it was only 10 seconds later that his leg returned, this time on top of her both and how he completely captured them.

As she was busy looking at their tangled legs, she didn't realize that he was looking at her the whole time, and as soon as their gazes met, he forwarded his face towards her.

"Oomph - morning breath." She muffled out, placing her palm over his mouth, and he even kissed that sloppily.

"Yours plus mine would make an amazing combination." He smirked, and the very next moment his lips met her.

It felt as if this was happening for the very first time. As if they hadn't kissed hundreds of times the previous night.

Fireworks felt exploding in their surroundings and even inside their body. Their hearts were racing at an abnormally fast speed as she tilted her head for giving him better access.

"Sleep. You need it, Ana." He mumbled, tracing her bottom lip with the pad of his thumb.

And one order from him, she had closed her eyes, now falling into a deep slumber as he held his beautiful wife in his arms.

//////////

"Now add 2 cups of sugar." He whispered quickly, looking all out of breath.

"Oh God, Vivaan. Go away. What if Bhaiya and Bhabhi see you? I'll manage." She whispered in return, trying to shoo him away.

"You ungrateful woman! Here, look at me. What all measures I am taking to help you and look you there. Not even a proper smile. Hmph!" He muttered fake angrily, giving her a glare.

Her eyes raked over his form that was outside the only window of the kitchen of this 4 BHK flat.

He was hanging on the small flat surface, joining two walls of the flat from outside, the width so less that even his whole feet couldn't rest comfortably. He had to use so much strength to keep himself intact in the same position and not to fall.

Because falling right now only meant death, seeing that the apartment was on the 18th floor.

Vivaan's brother and sister-in-law were modern enough. But when it came to ritual, customs, and traditions, his sister-in-law was just too strict. Maybe it was because of the fact that she was basically the pillar of the family since 6 years when she'd married Vansh Kapoor. The elder brother of the two who had lost their parents due to a car accident and lived by themselves, relatives only showing up when it was a matter full of concern.

The three, Vansh, Vivaan, and Sneha adored Anaisha. The reason being she was the source of happiness in their house. From the day their marriage had been fixed, the house had been full of laughters.

No doubt she herself was hesitant throughout. For her, she still couldn't believe that her husband is the same man because of whom she cried in childhood because he had eaten her lunchbox or that he'd made fun of her pigtails with the thick spectacles.

Was he fair in doing so? Not at all!

She didn't make fun of him being fat or that his front two teeth were longer than the others, which made him look like a rat. A wicked one.

But then the words he spoke last night and the looks he passed to her in the three months of their engagement. Everything was long, lost forgotten.

"I don't care! I don't want your first post marriage ritual to end up into a disaster." He reasoned with a known look.

"You think I'll make a mess? Is this what you think of me?" Anaisha barely whispered, looking at him through her lashes.

"Uhhh-"

And now was the moment that Vihaan had no idea how to handle a woman! especially when that woman is his wife.

Here was hanging on the platform outside the window, that was barely able to hold his big frame with children laughing at him from the garden and on the other side his wife was on the verge of having an emotional breakdown on the first day after marriage itself!

Does that make him a bad husband? Oh, for sure, it does.

"I know I am not perfect, but that doesn't mean I don't want to try either. And let it be me, you yourself don't know how to wash clothes! I did that for you." She continued in a heavy voice.

He had really fucked up, he realized.

But doesn't everything has a first time?

"I am sorry! Come on, let's do one thing. We'll divide the chores. You do what you're good at and I will do what I know how to. How does this sounds?" Vivaan asked expectantly.

"Perfect." And this time it was a grin from her side.

"Anaisha! Are you done? Wait, I am coming." Sneha's distant yell was heard making the two's eyes go wide.

And only Vivaan knows how he managed to scramble away from the kitchen's window to that of his own room, almost risking his life the whole time.

But damn, it was her! Her for whom he would risk his life for her at any point of time...

//////////

Laying on the king sized bed of his room at 12 in the midnight, Vivaan was busy intently watching a web series, that he and Anaisha basically binge watched daily after coming back from the office.

It was a month after their marriage.

It would be the right thing to say that they'd definitely gotten closer. They were a lot more comfortable with each other as compared to previously and man, did it feel good?

It was mind blowing for them.

Romance was one thing.

But the essence in their relationship was Vivaan teasing her every now and then that would lead Anaisha to get angry. And as always it would be followed by him apologizing with a cute pout and some sweet words.

No, they weren't like the usual arranged couples, nor like loved ones.

They enjoyed whatever they were.

It was before 10 minutes that Anaisha had gotten up from the bed and went to the bathroom where she was laying with her legs in his lap. Vivaan just shrugged it off and continued watching the TV.

"Vivaan..." A sweet voice reached his ears.

He glanced at the bathroom door where Anaisha's upper half portion was looking at him distractedly while the other half was still hidden behind the door.

"Yes? What's up?" He casually questioned.

"What's up? Everything is down." Anaisha said making a crying face.

Vivaan scratched the back of his head in confusion as he had no idea what she was talking about or what she meant.

"Do you need anything?" He asked as he got up from the bed and walked towards her.

He was about to pull the door to the bathroom from which she was hiding her lower portion of the when she shrieked loudly, eyes widening in response as she held the door impossibly tightly.

"What? Let me in." He voiced out casually.

The fact that was now more than comfortable around her wasn't hidden from Anaisha. He didn't mind getting naked in front of her or walking just in his boxers in their room despite of him knowing that he didn't have perfect abs or strong muscles.

One day even ran inside the bathroom to pee, not minding the fact that she was inside, practicing her makeup. And while he was getting a release, she literally had screamed at his shameless form and ran out of the bathroom making a mental note to lock it everytime she uses.

"I can't." She responded with hooded eyes.

"Goodness! How many times do I have to remind you not be insecure in front of me? You're perfect Ana. Actually not perfect. More than perfect. And even if this doesn't satisfies you, then let me tell you that you're better than me which you know as well. Now do you want me to sulk about this fact and shed my tears in a corner? No right? We're married and there's nothing left now. Now even if you don't like something about me you gotta accept that because no way in hell I am leaving your annoying ass." He exasperated, raising his arms.

"You're annoying. Not me." She just pouted in response after his sweet speech.

"Whatever you say. Now atleast let me in or either tell me what's wrong." He replied, looking at her with a known look.

"I got my periods." She murmured, not able to meet his eyes.

"Oh." Was his response.

And then silence.

Utter silence.

"Should I get chocolates? Umm- some warm milk? Oh, and a warm blanket too. You want to eat something as well? How about spicy maggi? Let me take out that fuzzy socks. It will keep you warm...." He couldn't continue his rambling as Anaisha had to literally scream at him to stop.

"ENOUGH."

And then silence again.

"I just need some pads. I forgot to pack those in my luggage." When she was replying, only she knows how embarrassed she was feeling with the red hue on her cheeks.

How could she be so irresponsible?

"Oh okay. Let me just go to the store. I'll be back." He said passing her a casual smile.

Anaisha was quite dumbstruck.

She didn't expect him to be normal about it. He was so casual! She had thought that he would deny saying he's embarrassed to do such things or that he didn't feel comfortable in doing so. But man, she was just so wrong.

"It's quite late. Why don't you ask Sneha bhabhi?" She suggested.

And at this Vivaan gave her an incredulous look, coughing as his ears turned red.

"Ana, you should by now know that the only woman I am comfortable around this way is you. Sneha bhabhi is like my sister." He replied as he scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

"And it's fine. I'll just go to a 24*7 store." He continued.

"Okay." She nodded solemnly and after a long time she finally met his eyes as she passed him a small smile, grateful to him for being in her life.

//////////

"Annnnd...done!" He announced as he slided the sock in her feet and patted it twice.

Coming closer to her who was sitting on the support of the bedpost, he glanced at her who was eating the chocolate. Her favourite one.

This man got so many things except for what she'd demanded! She was so overwhelmed that she was seconds away from crying and he had to literally push her in the bathroom.

He even gave her his hoodie, that was so big for her frame and had made her wear his socks because she suddenly started feeling cold. She was now basically covered from head to toe and still snuggled under the covers.

"Give me a piece too." He asked trying to get a hold of the big chocolate in her hand.

"No! Get your own." She whined, moving the chocolate away.

"Well this is actually mine in the first place. I got it for you." He smirked, raising his eyebrows.

And then she sneezed. So loudly that it even made her nose turn red.

Oh goodness! How adorable she looked rubbing her nose that a light chuckle escaped his lips.

"Wait. Now you won't feel cold at all."

Saying this, he lifted her and grabbed her in his lap, settling her in such a way that her head was tucked in his chest, her legs tangled with his while her hands wrapped around his torso.

"Mhmmm." She nodded in contentment.

"You know, I feel like this is the happiest I've been since such a long time. It's like no one has made me feel what you do. I feel like crazy because I want you as soon as I wake up or to see you and hold you when I fell asleep knowing you will be with me this way. I feel like whatever we have right now is so amazing I never want to lose this feeling. I know we are moving slow but this is what is working for us. And lastly I feel like I am falling in love with my wife who has this most amazing smile in the world." He rasped out.

"Y-You l-love m-me? M-me? As in m-me?" She croaked out.

"I thought that by now you knew that you're my wife. Do you want me to prove it?" He teased her who turned crimson in response.

"B-But I- I-"

"It's fine Ana. I am not forcing you. I just told you whatever I feel. Remember, we are taking it slow?" He passed her a soft smile.

Oh, she was now hundred percent sure that she was nowhere wrong in agreeing to this union. Some decisions could actually turn out being good and life changing.

"Yeah. I am sorry." She whispered biting down her bottom lip.

"You gotta stop doing that." He rasped out, breathing heavily.

"Stop saying sorry or this?" She questioned pointing to her lips.

"Actually both." He responded.

And the very next moment his lips were on hers as the invisible firecrackers exploded in the sky at the union of these two souls.

This was the life of Anaisha and Vivaan♡
