Plot: Abhira and Armaan are in a relationship and one rainy night, the power cut happened.

Armaan 😭 😭😭😭

Abhira texted her boyfriend Armaan with lots of crying emojis. Tears welling up in her eyes.

Kya hai?

Armaan,s voice note came, his voice laced with bitterness.

I'm scared.

Abhira sent a voice note, her voice shaking as she bit the inside of her cheek to hold back her sobs, her fear evident.

Toh main kya karun? Dance Karun kya?

Armaan texted her, she could hear his sarcastic tone in her ears.

With her heart pounding with a mixture of pain and fear, she texted back, her lips quivering, tears rolled down her cheeks like a waterfall.

Armaan I'm scared. Light bhi nahin hai aur bijli bhi kadak rahi hai. Please aa jao.

She typed, her hands trembling with fear and then she wrapped her arms around her knees, seeking solace in her own embrace.

AAAAH!!!

Abhira screamed out loud at the sound of both, door knocking and thunder rumbling reached her ears. She crawled back and leaned against the wall seeking solace in het own embrace.

She reached out for her phone blindly and held it and texted him, her fingers trembling with vulnerability

Don't you love me?

No.

Came his blunt reply.

There was a knock on the door and she jolted backwards, her heart racing in her chest out of fear.

KON HAI!!!!

Abhira yelled on top of her lungs. Suddenly her phone started ringing and she answered the call with shaky hands, placing the phone in between her ear and shoulder, she spoke, her voice quivering with fear

Hello.

Darwaza kholo.

Armaan,s voice came from the other side.

Armaan tum....

Abhira trailed off, relief washed over her in warm waves as a few tears escaped her eyes.

Nahin mera bhoot.

Armaan said sarcastically. Abhira laughed feeling lighter.

Ab darwaza kholo warna meri aur khane ki kulfi jum jayegi.

Armaan said, his voice trembling as the rain continued to cascade down upon him.

Tum bahar ho?

Abhira asked, her eyes widened in disbelief.

Haan meri jaan please darwaza khol do.

Armaan said, sucking in a breath trying to control his voice from trembling, his lips curled into a tight smile.

Abhira turned on the flashlight and stood up. She slowly walked down. As she walked towards the door, her steps barely making a sound on the floor, her breath came out trembling as her heart pounded in her ears.

She grabbed the doorknob and twisted it and then took a few step back, uncertain.

Armaan!!!

Abhira gasped out, her fear and panic leaving her, it was now replaced by a sense of calm and gratitude.

She heaved out a sigh of relief as he entered inside, closing the door behind him.

They looked at each other, Abhira,s heart fluttered in her chest like a butterfly as their eyes locked, his smile, charming, a beacon of light in the darkness giving her heart the comfort it needed.

I LOVE YOU!!!

They both yelled in unison looking at each other with the brightest smiles on their faces and she jumped on him wrapping her and around his broad shoulders, hands locking behind his neck.

Armaan who seemed already prepared, responded in an instant, wrapping his arms around her pulling her closer in a comforting embrace while Abhira closed her eyes in anticipation as she knew that now she was in the arms of the man who provided her the solace she craved.
