Everyone present in the garden had a different expression painted across their face. Ahaan was as determined as ever, he'd already almost lost Ishqi once and this time he'd leave no stone unturned to make sure she would be his. 

Ishqi couldn't believe her fate, she couldn't believe that someone she once considered akru and jhagralu would be the one she'd fall for, he'd be the one to confess his love for her. She couldn't believe that "Sanskari Ahaan Veer Malhotra" someone who didn't believe in love had fallen and confessed his deep love for her in front of everyone. 

"Shaadi mein Ishqi se hi karunga, dum hai toh rok lo"- She loved this determined side of him, she knew he was going to make sure their marriage happened, today and right now. Ishqi knew Dadi didn't like her but she promised herself she'd make a place in Dadi's heart. 

"Ishqi? You Ready?" Ahaan whispered in her ear bringing her back to reality- She smiled brightly, "Ready as I'll ever be!"- They both sat in the mandap and began with the rituals, Dadi stood there dumbstruck, her grandson was getting married to Ishqi right in front of her eyes and she couldn't do anything about it. She stood like a statue with a grumpy expression on her face. 

Mayank was dumbfounded, he didn't know how to react, his best friend and (ex) fiancée were literally getting married right in front of him- "Inn dono ka kaab chalu hua?!! Aur mujhe pata kaise nahi chala?!!"  he was so shocked that he stood frozen still digesting everything. 

Kartik whistled and hooted, he was overjoyed for his favourite couple, "ISHQAAN"-  

Pandit Ji: Aab aap dono pheron ke liye kharey hojaiye- 

Ahaan and Ishqi stood up and clasped each other's hands' tightly-  As they took the 7 rounds they vowed to nourish each other, be each others strength, prosper and stay faithful to one another, love and respect each other's families, care for their future children, live a healthy and peaceful life, and to always have a bond of friendship and loyalty. 

Then Ahaan filled the middle parting of Ishqi's hair with vermilion and tied the nuptial chain around her neck. After all the rituals were complete and the marriage was official the Pandit announced "Shaadi sampann hui, aaj se aap dono pati patni hai"- Ishqaan beamed with happiness while everyone (excluding some egoistic people, iykyk 🙄) clapped for the newly wed couple. Dadi rolled her eyes and exited the garden.

They went to take their elders' blessings, Maasi + Chachi/Chacha blessed the couple wholeheartedly while Sarla Auntie also gave in & gave the duo her ashirwaad, "Aab tu aa hi gayi hai toh yeh le" she said while blessing them, they hugged Kartik, Sonu and Raj- 

Kartik: Aab hum saab chalte hai, bhai aur bhabhi ko akele  mein bohot saari baatein bhi toh karni hogi na- Hmm, he said teasingly- 

Ahaan: Nahi Kartik, abhi ek aur kaam karna baaki hai- 

Ishqi nodded and a few police officers entered the garden and handcuffed Mayank, "Nahiii, tum dono ko toh mein dekh lounga"

Ishqi: Jail se kaise nikalo ge? Pehle usski fikar karo- 

While the police dragged away a whining Mayank, Sonu couldn't control herself she ran towards Ishqi and engulfed her in a tight hug, "Thank you Ishqi, thank you so much, Aab mein finally kissi darr ke bina aapni married life enjoy kar paungi" she whispered in her ear- "Thanks mujhe nahi, aapne bhaiyya ko kaho, yeh saab unka plan tha" Ishqi replied- 

While everyone adored their bond, Kartik said, "Kya kusar pusar ho rahi hai? Humein bhi toh pata chale" 

Sonu and Ishqi parted from the hug, "Tu chup reh cheapda, yeh dou(2) behano ke beech ki baat hai" Sonu said and Ishqi smiled- 

The trio wished the couple well and left them alone for a few moments- 

Ishqi turned towards Ahaan, "AVM, Dadi?...Humein unka ashirwaad bhi lena chahiye"

Ahaan: You're right Ishqi, let's go in her room- unnko maanane ki koshish karte hai....Our first mission as a couple! He smiled and Ishqi giggled-

Ishqi and Ahaan headed towards Dadi's room hand in hand- Both of them hoped Dadi would accept their relationship- Ahaan knocked on her bedroom door and upon no answer Ishqi and Ahaan slowly opened the door and went inside- Dadi wasn't in her room but they heard mummers from the balcony, "What is Dadi talking about so secretively?" Ahaan whispered to Ishqi-

Ishqi: Pata nahi, she replied

"Let's check" Ahaan said-

They both walked towards the balcony and heard Dadi angrily say, "Haan, agar woh na mili toh mein tumhe chodongi n-" Dadi saw Ahaan and Ishqi in the reflection of the glass decoration piece on the table- She attempted to change her sentence, "Woh bacchi hai, tumhe dayhan rakhna chahiye tha na, agar kuch hojata toh? Shukar hai woh sahi salamat hai, hmm- chalo, Geeta mein tumse baad mein baat karti houn, Bye" she said and hung up while the doctor on the other side was confused as heck.

She turned around and pretended to be surprised seeing Ishqaan standing by the door, "Tum dono mere kamre mein kya kar rahe ho?"

Ahaan: Dadi, hum aapka ashirwaad lene aai the-

Ishqi: Gi Dadi, mein jaanti houn ke aap mujhe kuch khaas pasand nahi karti but I promise ke mein aapki expectations pe utarne ki poori koshish karungi-

Dadi: Tum dono ne shaadi karne se pehle mere se poucha?--- Ahaan, meine tujhe kitna maana kiya per tu iss ladki ke pyaar mein itna andha hogaya hai ke tu ne aapni Dadi ki ek baat nahi sunni- Mein iss ladki ko apni bahu kabhi nahi maanugi-

"Kyun nahi maane gi?" They heard behind them- Kartik entered the room and stood beside the newly wed couple.

Kartik: Hum saab ne toh Ishqi ko bhabhi aur Malhotra family ki bahu mann liya hai, aap kyun nahi maan sakti? Dadi aap ek solid reason dijiye-

Dadi: W-Woh yeh ladki Ahaan ke best friend ki fiancée thi- Log kya kahenge? Dadi knew this wasn't a good enough reason, in reality Dadi didn't have a good reason to not accept Ishqi except her ego and Ishqi's knowledge of the existence of Savitri. Dadi feared that if Ishqi entered the Malhotra house it wouldn't be long before she'd find out about Ahaan's mother's past.

Kartik: Dadi? Are you kidding me? Yeh kaisa baseless reason hai. Ishqi Mayank ki fiancee thi, aab woh Ahaan bhaiyya ki wife hai aur hum saab ki bhabhi aur aapki bahu. Aur log kuch nahi kahenge, saab ko Mayank ka saach pata chal gaya hai-

Ahaan: Yes Dadi, Ishqi aur mein ek dusre se bohot pyaar karte hai-

Dadi: Ahaan, zindagi mein pyaar ke ilava bhi bohot cheeze hoti hai-

Kartik: Yes Dadi- you're right, but life mein pyaar bhi toh hona chahiye na khush rehne ke liye- Khushi, pyaar, sakoon- all these things are needed for one to live a content life. Agar bhai ko yeh saab cheeze Ishqi ke saath rehne se milti hai toh aap unse yeh saab kaise cheen sakti hai?

Ahaan: Yes Dadi, mein aab Ishqi ke bina nahi reh sakta- Hum dono ki shaadi ho chuki hai. Ishqi aur mein ek dusre ko kissi bhi haal mein nahi chodege-

Dadi: Dekha tu ne mere pote ko mere se ek din mein hi cheen liya. Ahaan yeh ladki tujhe aapne ishaaron per naacha rahi hai, tujhe kyun nahi dikta!?

Ishqi: Dadi, meine aapse aapka pota nahi cheena aur na hi mera aisa koi irada hai. Pyaar toh kabhi bhi kissi se bhi hojata hai na, mujhe aur AVM ko ek dusre se hogaya- Iss mein kis ki galti hai? Ahaan aapse kabhi bhi dour nahi hounge, agar naye rishte jud rahe hai iss ka yeh matlab toh nahi hai ke puraane rishte kamzoor parh jai yeh toot jai-

Ahaan: Dadi mein aapse bohot pyaar karta houn, aapki bohot izzat karta houn but Ishqi ko aapni life se kabhi bhi jaane nahi dounga-

Kartik: Yaar Dadi, aapko kitni aacchi bahu mili hai- Bhai ki khushi ke liye hi sahi- but please maan jao-

Dadi knew she had lost without the game even starting, Ahaan was fully colored in Ishqi's affect. There was nothing she could say or do which would make Ahaan change his decision. She didn't have any personal issues with Ishqi, yet. So she agreed and blessed them genuinely.

Dadi: Theek hai, mein aapne pote ki khushi ke liye Ishqi ko aapni bahu maan leti houn.

Ahaan and Ishqi touched her feet and she blessed them, "Khush raho" she said and Kartik started clapping- "Wah! Yeh hui na baat! Mein toh pehle se jaanta tha ke Dadi maan jaigi..."

"Agar humarey triple "S" bhai ko Ishqi se pyaar ho sakta hai toh iss duniya mein kuch bhi impossible nahi hai" Kartik said and they all chuckled-
