Taka: "Ugh ...."

that subtle verse makes the two boys snap to attention.

Mondo: "did you hear it too, Chihiro?"

Chihiro: "Y-Yes..."

the two turn and see Taka who was slowly opening his eyes.

"Taka is waking up!" The two thought in chorus

Mondo: "Oi Taka, are you okay?"

The first to approach was Mondo followed by Chihiro shortly after, the raven boy slowly turns his head towards the two.

Taka: ".....Mondo? ... Chihiro? ....." he still seems a bit confused after the blow in head suffered

Chihiro: "Taka, I'm so glad you're ok" he siag sigh with a smile

Taka: tries to sit up "what do you mean by- Ow!" He puts a hand to his head

Mondo: "Oi pay attention, the wound is still fresh" said Mondo helping him to sit up.

Taka: "wound? What are you talking about-?" He realizes that on his head there are bandages that cover half of his head, and also notices small blood stains on his white uniform, on his legs he notices Mondo's jacket, confused Taka I look at the two boys.

Chihiro: "Mondo found you on the third floor with a bleeding head injury," he explained noticing the boy's confused look.

Right, now he remembered what had happened, he had gone to the third floor for that ticket.... but where is it now?

Taka: "And.... why Mondo's jacket...."

Mondo: "before you were shaking" he said "I didn't want the cold air to make your situation worse" he finished giving him a small smile.

Taka's cheeks took on a pink hue while stared at the boy

Taka: "I-I understand ...... thanks, Kyodai" he smile back.

Mondo: "n-no problem Kyodai" he replied embarrassed as his cheeks took on a shade of pink, he loved seeing Taka smile like that.

Mondo: "Taka, can you tell us what happened? Who attacked you?" He worried then asked him,

Taka: "I..... I don't..." he looks down, he remembers well what happened to him and thinks he saw who attacked him from behind, but for some reason, he doesn't want to say it.

Chihiro: "Taka please, we want to help you" he pleads, but Taka kept saying nothing.

Kyoko: "Staying silent will not solve the situation, Taka" the boys turn towards the source of the voice

Chihiro: "Kyioko you are back" he exclaims noticing the girl

Mondo: "did you find something?" He asked receiving a positive nod from the girl

Kyoko: "as you said, I found traces of blood on the ground, then I followed them to a closet, as expected I found them a pool of blood and the weapon with it was hit Taka, Justice Hammer 3, so I can conclude that the killer who killed Hifumi tried to do the same with Taka"

Taka: "Wait, Hifumi is- ?!"

Taka's confused expression shifts to shock at hearing that news

Kyoko: "yes" she replied, remaining impassive "and from your reaction I can deduce that you didn't know anything, consequently it is likely that they have killed him after they attacked you" she concluded at the end crossing his arms.

Mondo: "What about Taka's aggression, did you find out who is the bastard who reduced him like this?"

Kyoko: "maybe yes, but before I say it I want to asks Taka something" she said looking at the raven boy

Taka: "o-ok, what is it?" He asked surprised by the girl's request

Kyoko: "why did you go to the third floor? What was your reason?"

Taka: "Gh-! I...." his voice dies in his throat at that question

Chihiro: "now that I think about it ...." he said thoughtfully "this morning the only ones who went to the dining hall were me, Mondo, Kyoko, Sakura, Hina and Makoto..... "

Mondo: "and the only ones missing were Celest, Hifumi, Hiro and..... you Taka..." he conclude looking at Taka who had started to sweat

Chihiro: "Taka.... you have always been the first to arrive at the dining hall, even in advance I would add, why didn't you go there this time?" ask worried the programmer

Taka: "T-that's because...." everyone's eyes were fixed on him, making him uncomfortable, but he had to give him a plausible answer "B-because this morning I saw the doors of the dorms of Celest, Hifumi and Hiro open and they weren't there, s-so I just went looking for them"

Kyoko: "if so..." she interrupted him "why didn't you go to the dining hall in the first place? They could just have gone to breakfast early" sheshe asked raising an eyebrow

Taka: "gh-! Because.... I-I....." without realizing it he squeezes a sleeve of his uniform.

Mondo: "what's wrong Bro? you can answer this question, right? you just have to tell the truth" he said noticing the strange behavior of the boy, receiving a look away from Taka.

Kyoko: "if you don't want to say it, I'll say it for you, you couldn't come to the dining hall because someone asked you to meet him on the third floor, right?"
The boy widens his eyes at his statement and I look at the girl

Mondo: "Oi wait a minute, what do you mean someone asked him to meet him?" Asked the confused motorcyclist

Kyoko: "while I examined the closet I found this on the ground" from the pocket of her jacket the detective takes out a torn piece of paper

Chihiro: "what is that?"

Kyoko: "It's a piece of a paper, presumably the one Taka got"

Mondo: "How can you be sure? It's just a small piece of paper" he ask not understanding het reasoning

Kyoko: "it's simple, in Hifumi's pants I found a note, with traces of blood, and since he was killed later it's impossible that the blood is his considering that the note was in his pocket" she said

Chihiro: "so the blood belongs to Taka..." he said thoughtfully

Kyoko: "yes, and this note and the piece of paper found in the place where Taka was attacked match perfectly" she concluded.

Mondo: "And what this note say?"

The girl looked at Taka for a moment, who looked away from her, Kyoko realized he wouldn't say it, so she decides to read it herself

Kyoko: "well, the note says this 'I found a hole that maybe we can use to escape. Monokuma can't find out, so don't tell anyone else for now. Let's meet in the equipment room at 6 am'"

Mondo: "Are you serious? It's clear that this is a trap" he said taking a step forward "Monokuma is not so stupid as to leave us a single hole from here we can escape, no one is so stupid to believe it!"

Kyoko: "Not stupid, but naive"

Mondo: "huh?" The motorcyclist raises an eyebrow

Kyoko: "Don't you remember Mondo? Here is a person who takes everything that is said to him almost literally, not because he is "stupid" or anything, but because he is still too naive to understand a certain type of thing" she explain crossing her arms

Chihiro: "but..... the only person who is like that is...."
Chihiro turns to Taka followed by Mondo

Mondi: "Bro, you..... don't tell me that....."

Taka remained silent without looking at the two who were staring at him withwith a look of shock on they're face.

Kyoko: "Taka" call him the detective "you really believed that someone had found a way to escape from here, and to be sure you didn't tell anyone about this note and went to the third floor to meet this person, right?"

There was silence for a few seconds, then the boy replied feebly

Taka: "yes, that's what happened"

Mondo/Chihiro: "WHAT!?!?"

Mondo and Chihiro said in chorus, but the voice of the first was much higher than the second.

Kyoko: "I understand, this explains some things" she said remaining indifferent "very well, in this case I am going to report what I have discovered to the others" said this the girl left the room.

Mondo: "What the fuck did you think!!"

The silence is broken by Mondo's scream against the raven boy, who leaps slightly upon hearing the biker's sudden scream.

Taka: "Mondo, I-"

Mondo: "do you realize it could have ended much worse!?" He snapped angrily

Chihiro: "M-Mondo please calm down" he said trying to calm his friend

Mondo: "I can't calm down, Chihiro! You saw how he was reduced when we found him, as far as we know he could have ended up killed like Hifumi!"

Taka remained silent, lowering his gaze, clutching Mondo's jacket that he still had on hid legs

Mondo: "maybe I won't be the right person to say this, but I expected someone else to follow that note to the letter, even if it was Makoto. well, even if it was Makoto it was fine, but not you Bro, I expected better from you!"

He seemed unreal, for once he was the thug scolding the prefect, usually it was always the other way around, but not this time.  Chihiro himself was surprised by the situation, it almost seemed that the two boys had swapped roles, Mondo is with his arms crossed looking at the boy and Taka with his eyes down as he continued to pull the biker jacket with his hands, the  programmer could swear he saw little tears in the corner of the raven boy's eyes.

Chihiro: "Mondo please stay calm, I understand that this is not one of the best situations, but Taka is fine so there is no need to get angry" he said holding his arm trying to calm him down.

Mondo: "I'm very calm Chihiro, I just want to know why Taka fell on such a trap-!"

Taka: "BECAUSE FOR ONCE I WANTED TO TRY TO BE USEFUL!!!"
