Taka was running, he doesn't know where he was, it was too dark to see anything, but he couldn't stop, he had to keep running.

He had a wound on his left eye that was bleeding, and as he ran he held his right arm that was bleeding too, somehow he had managed to escape from his he agressor, but he knew that he couldn't escape forever.

In the distance he could hear a howl and something big chasing him, and he knew he'd be able to reach him first.
In fact, shortly after he feels something bite his right leg making him fall to the ground, he turns around and see that Mondo in the form of a werewolf was biting his leg while he was trying to drag him somewhere

Taka: "N-no! Let me go!"

With the other leg he managed to hit him on the muzzle so that the werewolf let go, but that only infuriated him even more.
Mondo's red eyes looked at a super frightened Taka, who was trying to get back on his feet but with his leg in that condition he couldn't do much

Taka: "M-Mondo please stop it, you're scaring me!"  He says backing away as tears start running down his cheeks

Mondo did not flinch continuing to approach him as he growls with those red eyes that looked at him with hate

Taka: "Mondo please it's me! Snap out of it!!" He cried trying to bring him to reason

But it din't work, before he could do something to defend himself or something. Mondo jump on him, tearing him alive.

Taka suddenly woke up in bed with labored breathing and tears in his eyes.

It was a dream.
A nightmare to be precise.

Taka touches his body to make sure he was all right and he was, but still he couldn't calm down, that nightmare had been too real for him.

Then he feel something touch his shoulder that made him jump

Mondo: "Oi it ok Taka it's me"

Taka: "... M... Mondo?"

Mondo: "What's wrong babe? Are you okay?" he asks noticing that Taka was crying

Taka: "... I-I... I.... I don't..." as much he wanted he couldn't speak, he just stayed there crying and shivering

Mondo: "hey hey calm down, it's okay"

Understanding the situation Mondo hug him in an attempt to calm him, shortly after Taka returns his hug and sinking his face on the boy's chest while continuing to cry

Mondo: "shhhh, it's okay Taka, I'm here"

It may seem nonsense to someone, but in these cases when Taka is in that state he finds a lot of comfort in his boyfriend hugs, and Mondo knew it well.

In fact, after a while Taka had started to calm down a bit and his breathing was almost regular again

Mondo: "are you okay now?"

Taka: "I.... I think so ..."

Mondo: "good" he wipes Taka'd remaining tears

At that moment Taka realizes that Mondo was still in the form of the werewolf, which it meant that they had woken up in the middle of the night, and gradually he remember what had happened a few hours earlier.
It must have been only a few hours after their "date" in that lavender flower glade, and probably while he was asleep Taka made Mondo stay with him.

Taka: ".... I.... I'm sorry, Mondo"

World: "for what?"

Taka: "I woke you up in the heartin the middle of the night..."

Mondo: "hey, it's not a problem ok? And anyway in this state it's not like I can sleep much, so you don't have to apologize, ok?"

Taka: "....ok"

Mondo: smiles "Now can you tell me what happened?"

Taka: "...I .....I just had a bad dream ..."

Mondo: "A bad dream? What kind?"

Taka: "......."

To that question he didn't know what to answer, he remember well what had happened in his nightmare, but he dosen't know if it is a good idea to tell him, considering in what state Mondo is now.

Mondo: "hey, you know that you can tell me everything, so you can just tell me, what did you see in your nightmare?"

Taka: "... I ..... I don't know exactly ..."

Mondo: "you don't know?" He asks perplexed

Taka: "I remember I was running away from something, but I don't know exactly what... and when that thing attacked me I just woke up... but I don't see what it was..."

Obviously in part he have to lying, he dosen't want to worry Mondo more than necessary, he is already worried about hurting him when he has one of his attacks, let alone if he tells him that he had a nightmare about him where he is mauled alive by Mondo himself.

Taka: ".... I don't know what it was... I just know it scared me very much..."

Mondo: "okay, don't worry. I don't know what you saw but you don't need to worry because it wasn't real, it was just a bad dream"

Taka: "yeah .... I-I know ..."

Mondo: "Are you still a little scared?"

Taka: "hm-hm" he nods

Mondo: "Well you don't need to. Because I'll always be here to protect you, whatever happens" he says almost proudly

Taka: laughs a little "yes, I know you do"

Mondo: "of course you know" he kisses him on the forehead making him smile a little "here he is my smiling Ishi" he smiles

Taka: "it's because you make me smile"

World: "heh, good to know"

Mondo kisses him and Taka kisses him back, after a while the two separate and hug

Mondo: "now we should go back to sleep, it's still quite late"

Taka: "You're right, but... can we ... stay like this..?"

Mondo: he smiles a little "of course we can"

So remaining hugged the two lay down on the bed.
While Taka was resting his head on Mondo's chest, the latter stroked his head gently.

Even though he had Mondo comforting him, Taka still couldn't help but be worried about the bad dream he had.
What he saw was a certain a bad dream, but he couldn't help but wonder if it could really happen sooner or later or that Mondo's werewolf condition could get worse somehow over time.

So he decides that when he gives the book back to its owner he will ask him a few more things hoping that he will be able to give him some answers.

With that thought in hid head, after a while he fall asleep again in the arms of his beloved
