“Appa?!” The florist looks up to see his son run down from the apartment above the shop.

“Yes Eun?”

“I found this!” the boy puts all the Polaroids on the table “Who is this person appa?”

Taehyung smiles bitterly as he picks up the picture.

My Love

His fingers trace the face imprinted on the paper and it feels like he is touching the face imprinted in his mind.Opening a box of memories the omega pretends as if they never existed.

He looks up to see his 5 year son looking at him with expectation. Only if he could tell How much closer the male in the picture is to his little son.

After all, they both have the same eyes.

Same big doe eyes, caring all the stars the universe has to offer, the curiosity which never seems to go away.

Only if he could tell him the male in the picture is his father. Taehyung looks up at him and smiles.

He can't, he can't tell the truth.

“He's a friend of mine, just someone I knew from college”

The little one's mouth forms in A ‘Oh’.

"He's pretty,” Eun giggles, pulling the Polaroid to look at him closely.

“What's his name?”

“Jungkook”

Taehyung closes his eyes, no he wouldn't let those memories dominate him. He wouldn't let him overwhelm the omega to the point he'll start crying, no, not in front of Eunwoo anyway.

“That's A pretty name” Eun giggles again looking at his father with wide eyes.

“Yes, just like our little Eun,” Taehyung grins, suppressing his pain as he goes around to tickle the baby alpha. Eun shrieks in laughter, running away and Taehyung smiles sadly, watching the small figure retreat.

He turns to see the mass of Polaroids, picking up one randomly. It's the picture of him and Jungkook, the alpha is laughing

Eyes wrinkled, nose scrunched, bunny teeths in view as Taehyung is kissing his cheeks

The Omega's own eyes closed as he pressed himself against the male.

He remembers the day so clearly one would consider it happened just yesterday.

But it has been so many years, 6 years 4 months 12 days to be specific.

Tae closes his eyes, leaning against the table as he just for a short time decides to let himself get drowned in those memories.

Memories of the time when he had someone he loved with everything he had.

“Jungkook wakes up” The alpha grumbles shoving his head under the pillow.

“C’mon koo get up! We are getting late!!”

“5 minutes more baby please” He whines and Taehyung sighs.

They were going to meet Taehyuk, Taehyung's father and it'll be a lie if the omega said he wasn't Anxious, his father was a politician, highly strict and protective of his son. It was the first time Omega was going to introduce his boyfriend, Jungkook, to his family.

The same said boyfriend who seems totally chill and full board to sleep his day out. Taehyung rubs his face looking at the naked back of his boyfriend, A devilish plan formatting in his mind.

He quickly picks up the Polaroid camera and starts to crawl on the bed and sit on Jungkook's back.

He hears Jungkook let out incoherent words and remove the pillow from above his head.

“I'm only saying this one last time, koo Get up”

"So can we do something dirty? Naughty! But No let me sleep” Jungkook grins pointing at their position before he shakes his head. Tae shrugs and in the next seconds Jungkook is trying to get away.

His laughs echoing in the bedroom, trying to push the omega off him who's too busy torturing the shit out of The alpha by his tickles.

“Hey— Kssk Tae! Hahshahah no get up hey!” Taehyung laughs while taking pictures after pictures.

He was too busy taking a proper picture to notice when the alpha got a hold of his waist and in the next second. The omega was pressed against the mattress, hands locked.  The omega blinks up at the alpha, who is panting hard with a stupid grin.

“You are a monster! Can't even let A pretty boy have his precious sleep tsk! Monster, absolute monster” the alpha shakes his head in disappointment though he couldn't suppress the smile stretched on his lips.

“Your fault! Who told you to play video games till late night hm?”

The alpha smiles sheepishly and Taehyung takes the advantage of the moment Pushing the alpha, having Jungkook beneath him now. Before Jungkook could even protest, the omega started tickling him again. Jungkook doesn't even try to fight this time, too busy laughing and squirming to get away.

Taehyung smiles, panting hard as he takes in the view in front of him.

Jungkook is laughing his heart out, his eyes crinkling and his bunny teeth on full display.  A sudden urge to keep the scene as a memory ignites inside him.

He quickly searches for the camera, falling next to Jungkook as he pulls him closer. He closed his eyes as he pressed his lips against Jungkook’s cheeks, kissing his alpha.

And the Polaroid falls out of the camera, falling in between of them.

Taehyung remembers how they had taken more pics with it, the sequence of it.

How Jungkook had turned his face so Taehyung was kissing his lips instead.

How the alpha had slowly reached for the camera and put it somewhere as they deepened the kiss.

He remembers it all.

Sadly, he remembers what happened after all that too. 

Sadly, he remembers the way Jungkook had betrayed his love and trust as well.

Sadly, he remembers what Jungkook had done to him, to his family, how he had betrayed him by—

The shop bell rings, pulling Taehyung out of his thoughts. Taehyung puts all the Polaroids in a drawer and goes to assist his customer.

A man wearing black goggles, a baseball cap and a black mask, effectively hiding his face away.

"Hello, what can I get you?” The omega asks politely despite finding the dress up odd.

The stranger looks at him, a little startled. Taehyung repeats his question just in case the male didn't hear him.

“Oh, Just one purple tulip please” Taehyung smiles and nods.

“Alright” He goes to take the tulip out of its place, wrapping it to make it look a little more pretty.

“Here you go, Hope your partner likes those”

“Huh?” The man looked startled at Taehyung And the omega bites his lips, wondering if he thought wrong. Shit.

"I'm— I'm sorry I thought they are for your partner, my bad”

“oh, no no uh.. Yeah you're right they are for my... Partner” Taehyung smiles sheepishly at that.

“They'll like it, I'm sure”

The male smiles, looking at the single tulip in his hand. “Me too....”

“I hope he accepts my confession” Taehyung smiles sweetly at that.

“I'm sure they'll accept your confessions. Anyways have a great day, Sir. Thank you for coming to our shop”

The guy nods and hurries his way out of the shop. Taehyung watches the man leave and sighs.

Well, he hopes at least someone will have a happy ending with the one they love. He shakes his head to get rid of such unnecessary thoughts and goes back to do what he was doing before.

It's almost midnight when Taehyung is done with all his chores. Eunwoo is sleeping after stories and lots of questions that came along with it.

After making sure to switch off the lights of the hallways and shop below, Taehyung sits on the small leather chair in his room.

He has a small glass filled with whiskey on the table in front of him, wondering if it's ok for him to drink a little or not.

Taehyung doesn't drink, at least not after having his baby but today he feels a strong urge to drink.

Not a lot since he can't afford a hangover but Enough to forget a certain alpha and the pain he brought along with him.

Taehyung should have known Jungkook was too good to be true.

Alpha aren't like that, he thought jungkook was an exception. He thought maybe, just maybe he is different. Maybe he is the one for him, the perfect Alpha Taehyung always looked for.

He should have known that it's a lie, Jungkook is a lie.

The omega remembers the day it ended. The day Jungkook crushed all the dreams Taehyung had seen of their future.

Jungkook killed it all.

Taehyung had gotten the biggest shock of his life. It's been an hour since he got the news and the omega’s tears haven't stopped since.

He felt hurt, betrayed, sad, angry and so many emotions the omega couldn't explain in words.

Taehyung’s father has been shot.

And the omega is sure that the elder Kim wouldn't be able to make it out alive. But that wasn't the reason why Taehyung was crying in the bedroom when he should have been in the hospital, next to his father hoping and praying for the elder to make it by some miracle.

Taehyuk wasn't the best father in the world, he'll not win any awards in that category. But still he wasn't bad either, he'll make time for Taehyung, he wasn't the best but still Taehyuk was a good father.

He knows his father isn't a saint, Taehyuk has done things which are morally questionable.

He knows the elder has more enemies then the omega can count. So it wasn't really a surprise that his father has been shot, it has happened before. What really was shocking for Taehyung is not who was shooted but who has shot his father.

Jungkook.

What are you saying? That's not possible!

That's what Taehyung’s reaction would have been if someone told him that but it's not like someone told him that.

He saw it with his own eyes.

He heard the words the alpha let out, standing with a gun pointed at his father.

Jungkook was in the mansion, with a gun and a stoic expression the omega has never seen on him.

I was never in love with your son, he's just a way to get to you, Kim taehyuk

Taehyung felt his heart break at those words, he didn't even scream when Jungkook shot his father. It was like his mouth was sewed shut.

Numb

That's what Taehyung felt. Numb.

Numb as those words echoed in his ears, he heard more words. More words of explanation of how Jungkook is a hitman, an assassin. Just needing to have certain information and to get rid of the president Kim Taehyuk.

Taehyung doesn't know how he got out of the mansion, how he didn't manage to break down till he reached his apartment.

It felt too hard to believe over what he just saw, maybe his eyes were deceiving him. Maybe he was dreaming all of it, yeah it was just a dream.

A stupid dream.

All he needs to do is open his eyes and he'll be in bed, in the arms of Jungkook who'll laugh as Taehyung explains what he saw. Telling him he's an idiot to even believe in all that.

The alpha will tell him how his pretty hands couldn't even hurt a fly and let alone, kill the president

Then he'll smile and pepper Taehyung with kisses till he is all reassured that it was just a dream.

Alas, Sad reality always hits you no matter how much you try to deny it.

Taehyung opens the door of his apartment.

Finding it empty and dull when it once used to be lit up with fairy lights at any given time.

The omega didn't want to believe the truth of what he saw so he tried to search up the whole apartment in hopes of finding nothing. In that way at least he would be able to convince himself that there must be an explanation to what he saw.

At least in that way he would be able to assure his heart that his love was innocent.

But then the proof was right in front of him.

Bugs and hidden cameras.

Burner phone.

A whole box of ammo, an extra magazine and a silencer. The truth was right in front of him and that's when he broke down. Crying his heart out of the betrayal he got from his love.

He's not sure for how long, but maybe it has been almost 2 hours when jungkook came home (Can he even call it home now??)

“Tae?” The soft voice only made him break down a little more.

And in a few minutes, Jungkook was in front of him. Looking at him with concern as he cups his face.

“Hey... Baby, what happened?” he wipes his tears and kisses his forehead, pulling the omega against his chest.

Taehyung stiffens under his touch, his tears too dried up to even make it out of his eyes.

“Tae, you're making me worried baby”

“What did you do, Jungkook?” The alpha froze at that but he quickly recovered it.

“What are you saying baby? What did I do?”

“To my father, what did you do? He's not alive anymore is he?” Taehyung looks up at him and smiles, wiping his tears away. His smile felt forced like it didn't suit him. He is sure he looks like a creepy doll trying to smile.

“Tae have you gone crazy? What are you saying baby?”

“Cut the act, Agent 9731. I know the truth” And Jungkook’s face morphs into something the omega can't Understand, the alpha stumbles A few steps back in shock.

“You were never supposed to find out... You shouldn't have found that out” Jungkook says with the same blank expression he had before.

Taehyung closes his eyes as a tear slips.

So it's true.

Omega hates himself so much for trusting Jungkook. He hates himself even more because he misses the warmth that had engulfed him before.

“Why? So you could pretend you love me for the rest of my fucking life!!” He shouts, pushing the alpha with anger

“Tell me Jungkook? So you could give crocodile tears and hold me while I fucking cry over my dead father that was killed by you?!!! How?! Fucking how you can be so heartless how can you— mmph”

The omega is cut off by a pair of lips he's way too familiar with.

He tries to resist, hits Jungkook, pushes him away but then finds himself melting into his arms. It'll be a lie to say he didn't feel disgusted by the fact that just how much effect the alpha still had on him.

How he still was enjoying the lips of someone who killed his father No long ago.

Taehyung closes his eyes, tears spilling out as he kisses back.

Wrapping his arms around Jungkook, he wasn't sure what to make out of this kiss.

Maybe it was a goodbye kiss, maybe it was an assurance that after everything, the alpha does love him Despite what he said before. He doesn't know and frankly he doesn't need to because then he felt something press against his waist.

A gun.

“Do it” The omega whispers against his lips looking at the closed eyes of jungkook.

“Do it Jungkook, kill me. You didn't before, don't hesitate now. You'll be free then it's not like—”

“Shut up!” Jungkook growls, opening his eyes to glare at the omega.

“Shut the fuck up Taehyung! You shouldn't have found that out! You should have never found that out! Hurting you was never my fucking intention. I didn't want to... It was just my job. It would have been so fucking much better if you wouldn't have found out!!“

“I— FUCK!” and in a second jungkook slams his lips against Taehyung's.

But this time Taehyung doesn't get carried away, he doesn't let any other thoughts invade his mind. Instead he waits for it, waits for the alpha to pull the trigger. He distracts himself by kissing him. Taehyung screws his eyes shut as he hears the gunshot ring.

Then another and his vision gets blurry, his surrounding starts spinning

Then another.

By now, Taehyung has fallen on the ground, he can see a vivid image of jungkook.

He opens his mouth to shout, to tell him how much he hates him, how much he hates Jungkook.

But all that comes out is a small whisper, one he couldn't even control or think about before letting out.

“I love you” and then he faints.

By the time Taehyung wakes up, Jungkook is gone.Everything is gone as if he never lived here in the first place. Taehyung sits up, confused. Is he dead? In heaven?

He checks himself but finds no wounds. Instead, the mirror behind him has broken into pieces with multiple gunshot holes on it.

There are dozens of messages from his family and cousin, informing him about a death he already knows about.

Taehyung wipes his eyes, washing his face.

He has a funeral to carry out now, A mother to take care of. He can't weep over someone who did nothing but gave him a heart break.

Throughout the time, the omega didn't dare utter anything about the culprit, didn't dare let a single Soul know about jungkook and what he did.

And after a few weeks, Taehyung finds out about his pregnancy.

At first he didn't want to keep the baby but what did the little soul do? The baby wasn't at fault so why should they be punished so he kept the baby.

Taehyung jumps up when he hears something breaking. His heart racing as he looks around and sees the window glass breaking. The omega runs towards the place, finding an arrow and something attached to it.

He frowns, picking up the arrow, carefully taking out the small pouch attached to it.

He gasps, finding a tulip.

The same purple tulip he had given to the unknown stranger who had covered his face.

A note falls out, with his heart in his throat he hastily opens it.

Taehyung immediately runs to the balcony, searching for the male who still, after all these years, manages to invade his space no matter how far away the omega ran from him.

But all he finds is nothing. Not A single soul.  A sob leaves from his lips as he slides down, clutching the small note close to his heart.
