Ten Things the Year 2020 Taught Me

1. It taught me to live life as if it is the beginning and not the last day. I don't have to scurry around trying to get everything done, as if my life depended on it, it doesn't.
2. Survival is everything and expect to survive; tomorrow you'll need a plan.
3. A day without a plan is like wiping your ass with a cactus, and you're stuck with it.
4. Trying to avoid a virus is worse than a war, it has the perfect camouflage, and everybody is the enemy because they are the point of entry for the virus, SARS CoV-2.
5. No immunity means you have no defense against the virus; none, zilch, and zero. Flu immunity doesn't help you, and you can't build an immunity unless you are infected by it or take the vaccine.
6. I've learned that fifty percent of the population is plain stupid, just from reading Facebook, and the stupid people call the smart people stupid and vise-verse. In the end we both know that the other is stupid; stupid is as stupid posts.
7. Mom was right. Anybody can be President of the US of A.
8. Elon Musk is a futurist; he has pure determination, and I would never bet against him. We need more people in the world like him who are willing to take on impossible tasks and make them a reality.
9. Government is for the people and not the other way around. If you elect Congress and then call Congress inept, then you have only yourself to blame; stop putting the same people in Congress, because the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
10. Hope is never lost, it is always the lining at the bottom of the box, so if you think you have reached rock bottom and have no hope, you haven't reached the bottom.
