Random Accidents
Random Accidents
@2018, Olan L. Smith
It is the fate of all to depart the train of life;
You get on, you get off. Now, what is next?
Once unaware the next thing you will know you
Will be you, most likely without a memory of who
You were. Even if you only believe in random mergers
Of stardust the universe is so vast that an recurrence of self
Is assured merely by mathematical calculations,
It is certain, over and over until the end of all.
If you believe in a helping hand to recreate self then all the
More we exist with surety. Nothing in this universe
Is ever lost, nothing subtracted and nothing added.
We are more than the sum of the whole, we are.
