Zane's P.O.V
"Cake why did you bring me here?" I questioned with a look on my face that read 'I don't wanna be here'.

"What? Am I not aloud to hang out with my big brother at the mall? I just like hanging out with you! Plus you've been needing to get out of that house of yours!" She nudged my shoulder playfully. I sighed, then looked at her. Her brown eyes made a comforting feeling overwhelm my body. It felt good and warm. She sat down on the bench seeming tired of something. She looked at her phone and the clock read 1:30 pm. She sighed. I sat down next to her leaning back on the bench. Cake then moved closer to me and leaned on my shoulder. She looked so tired. Then her eyes brightened and she jumped up off the bench in excitement.

"There you are! I thought you wouldn't be able to make it!" She ran over to a girl and a guy walking up to us. I got up and walked closer to them and realized it was only Aphmau and Aaron.

"Yeh sorry for being so late Cake. I had to put Celeste down for her nap but it took longer than I thought." Aphmau looked worried. I then noticed Aaron looking at me. When he noticed me looking at him he quickly turned his head away from me.

I don't understand what is wrong with him. I know he probably likes me like more than a friend but....I also need to remember what my mom said...

"But I still don't understand! Why would he do that?!" Cake started bawling her eyes out. Our mom was comforting her. Vylad sat next to her resting his head on her shoulder. Garroth knelt beside her. I stood a few feet away from them in the kitchen. I grabbed the milk jug and poured a glass of milk. When I was done I heard my mother say to all of us.

"Listen children. Love is a hard and complicated thing. That's why I read so many romance books! But you need to learn to choose the right person from true love!" I rolled my eyes and walked upstairs into my room.

Ever though I didn't believe in the thought of true love. I still wanted to wait to find the perfect person for me.

"So what did you guys wanna do first?" Aphmau asked. The first thing that popped into my head was the My Little Horsies store. But I knew Aaron would know about my secret love for them.

"Let's go to Annie Anne's Pretzel Factory!!! It my favorite snack place!!" Yelled Cake in excitement. We all walked to Annie Anne's Pretzel Factory in silence. When we arrived, Aphmau and Cake squealed then jumped up and down like they've just seen the One Direction Band. They ran up and got in line. Me and Aaron followed behind.

"I'll buy everyone something here. My treat!" Aaron suggested.

"Are you sure Aaron?" Aphmau asked just to make sure he was ok with it.

"Yes. I'm sure." He looked at me and winked.

What is this guy trying to do? I'm not gonna fall for him! His good looks. That calming smile. STOP IT ZANE!! You can't be thinking this.

I walked up in line to order what I want but I then bumped into someone.

"You okay?" The person asked. I looked up and saw Aaron. He held out his hand for me to take it. I took it and he pulled me up.

"I'm fine. Thx." I brushed myself off then ordered my pretzel. Aphmau and Cake sat down at a small table for four. They chattered away about ponies and an episode of that anime called Fairy Tale that Aphmau watches. (Little fact about me! I <3 the anime Fairy Tale) I was about to join in the conversation but Aaron started gesturing me to go over to him. I walked over to him with a sigh.

"What do you want?" I questioned.

"F-Follow me." He said then headed into a dark hallway. I've never seen this in the mall. It must be the hallway leading to the old bathrooms. He looked at me. He lifted his hood off his head. Then he lifted my mask off my face. Then he quickly leaned in and kissed me. It was long and soft. I enjoyed it. The thought of this happening before made me feel disgusted and awkward. Now that it's actually happening I feel different. My life flashed before my eyes. Even though I wasn't dieing. My life had been just about me in solitude. No friends except for my sister, Cake and my so called online friends. Now I felt I had someone to love. Someone I could share my hope and joy with. Was Aaron really the right person for me?

Then I heard someone yelling at me. My body began to shake like crazy.

"ZANE! Wake up!" I fell out of bed and into the floor. I'm guessing it was all just a dream, or a nightmare? (Or did it actually happen 😏)

"Zane!" I looked up. A person stood over my bed. Then they got on the bed and looked over onto the floor where I lay. "A-Are you o-okay?"

Then a big white furred dog ran over to me and licked my face to death.

"Ghost! Knock it off!" I yelled. I looked up and saw Cake trying to tell Ghost to back off. He did. "What happened?"

"Oh sorry! I was just trying to wake you up because today were gonna go to the mall to hang out! And also your new limited addition pony came in my mailbox again." I looked at her. Then realized that's what my dream was about! Me going to the mall with Cake to hang out! Oh Irene please help me!

"Oh! *pretends to cough* Cake I don't feel so well! I feel sick and weak! I dont think I could go to the mall with you today!" I pretended to be sick.

"NONSENSE! Your not sick! If you were then I would of knew straight away! So come on get up and get dressed! I wanna have some fun with my big bro!" She got off the bed and ran out of the room. Ghost followed her. This day can't go wrong! Can it?

I'm so sorry guys for not posting any chapters for a while! I've been really busy with the fam and friends! I will try to post more often and that goes for my other stories as well! Well hope you liked this chapter!
