Y/N's pov

Cinder: Who are you?

She raised her hand as a sword appeared in it before she pointed it at me

I sighed and tried to release the transformatiom, a gold light surrounded me before it shattered and disappeared to reveal me as i was back to normal

Cinder: You...

Me: I'm not here to fight you

Cinder: I find that highly unlikely, you're with Qrow and Ruby after all

Me: If i wanted to hurt you i wouldn't have gone back to normal

She looked at me suspiciously before relenting as she lowered her sword making Neo smile

Cinder: Fine then, what's your deal?

Me: I assume you're not working for Salem anymore

Cinder: I'm... under orders

Me: I know what you want, power... and if you work with me i can give it to you. Power strong enough to kill those who can't be killed

Cinder: I'm listening

I held out my hand as it glowed brightly, she looked at it in intrigue before i closed it and the room darkened.

Me: The only thing i need is for you to not kill Ruby while we're working together

Cinder: And now you lost me

Me: This happened because Salem sent you and Ozpin accepted her in. Work with me to stop anything like this happening again

Cinder: Are you saying you can stop Salem?

Me: If not kill then seal away, forever

Cinder: Then i want something, Emerald's semblance is quite useful. If you can get her then i'll join your little team.

I nodded before closing my eyes, searching my Emerald as i pressed two fingers to my forehead

As i searched for her i felt something, it was dark and evil. I kept trying to push through it but the dark presence pushed harder

Moving my fingers away i let out a sigh before opening my eyes. Cinder looked at me disappointed as i shook my head

Me: Wherever she is, i can't go there by myself

Cinder: We have an airship but going there at the moment is too dangerous

Me: So what now?

Neo tapped my shoulder so i turned to her, she showed me her scroll which read "What about Blake?"

I frowned before hanging my head, Neo looked at me confused before i rubbed my arm.

Me: Can i talk to you in private?

Neo nodded before we walked out into a different room, i closed the door before turning to Neo

Me: I lost control for awhile and i remember what i did... i assulted Blake

She looked at me suprised before coming over and pulling me into a hug. I hugged her back as rested my head on her shoulder.

Me: I can't forgive myself, not after what i did

We parted from the hug before she pulled out her scroll and typed something before showing it to me "When this is all over, maybe we can go back to earth... and take Blake"

Me: Maybe

Timeskip

Blake's pov

I sat on a bed with my knees pressed against my chest, a frown adorned my face as i looked out the window.

?: Blake

Turning around i saw Y/N... i looked to him shocked as he looked away, i shuffled back slightly as he sighed

Y/N: I'm sorry... i couldn't control myself but you don't need to worry about me anymore. I'm going to stop Salem... and when this is all over, i hope that we can restart

I stayed silent as he took a glance at me, i shook my head and looked away from him.

Me: There's so much you haven't told me, so much that you're hiding from me... you aren't the same Y/N i knew. The carefree yet caring boy i fell in love with... i've tried to get past it but you aren't him.

Y/N: Yeah... you're probably right... you don't want to hear this but know that i still love you and Neo

Me: How much are you hiding from her?

He looked shocked before turning his head away as he gritted his teeth and rubbed his arm

Me: I guess she knows more than i do... just go with her. Go stop Salem or something... just keep me out of it

A tear ran down his cheek before he pressed two fingers to his forehead and disappeared.

My lip quivered before i buried my face and my hands as my ear flattened against my head.

Y/N's pov

I appeared next to Neo before i fell to my knees, she crouched down next to me and raised my head to see my tears

She put and hand against my cheek and wiped my tears away with her thumb before pressing her forehead against mine.

Me: I'm sorry... i-i couldn't... she hates me, please... i c-can't bear it if you left me too

I looked to her pleadingly before she moved her head and kissed my forehead, i hung my head as she wrapped her arms around me protectively

She lifted my head once more before signing slowly to me

Neo: I... won't... leave... you

I barely caught what she was trying to convey but managed to just make it out before nodding and muttering

Me: Thank you Neo... *sniff* i-i love you

She mouthed "i love you too" before kissing me... i can't let harm come to her, i've hurt the people i love enough
