Cole's POV

I mined the rock in front of me. "Doesn't this get boring?" I asked Zack, another miner. "No not really" Zack responded. Every since we went our separate ways, I got a job as a miner. Which is boring. Yeah I loved the earth, but I don't want to spend every second, minute, or day mining it. "I'm going to take a break" I told Zack. I walked out of the mine, the bright light shinning in my face. I put my arm over my eyes so I could see better. "BROOKSTONE!" My boss, Gary, yelled at me. "Yes?" I responded. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT HERE?" He yelled. "Just taking my break" I told him. "FINE. YOU HAVE TEN MINUTES!" Gary yelled. Ten minutes? Sheesh, it's like he wants us in the dark. I sighed and walked over to a decaying tree. I sat down leaning on the tree for support. "I've been in there for so long." I mumbled to myself. "BROOKSTONE! Your break is over. GET BACK IN THERE!" Gary yelled. It's going to be a long day.
