*Cole's POV*

I walked through the town in search of the girls. The others had run off trying to find them as well. That small blue dragon, Spring went with Lloyd.

I hoped everyone was alright.

"I will find you Anna and I won't let them take you ever again." I said to myself.

I stopped at a street to see a boy staring at me. He looked like Lloyd in a way.

"Who are you?" I asked firmly.

"I am Chase. Sorry to do this and all to you Cole but you are a threat to my master. He has ordered me and Storm to destroy any ninja we find." he answered.

"Who is Storm?" I asked as I clenches my fists.

"Storm is Jay and Shadow fused together."

Jay had been fused with Shadow?!

This can't be good.

I pulled out my scythe and charged Chase.

Chase smirked.

I couldn't move!

I looked down to see my feet frozen to the ground.

He was like Lloyd. He must have all the elements.

"Now Cole it's time for you to say goodbye!"

He quickly stabbed my side, causing a very deep gash to pour out a massive amount of blood. I yelled in pain and fell to the ground.

"Sweet nightmares Cole."

And with that he disappeared leaving me alone in the streets of Ninjago.

I looked up at the sky as my breathing began to slow.

"I'm sorry Anna. I failed you. I couldn't save you from the villains. Know that I will always love you and that no matter what I will always be close to you."

I looked around Ninjago from where I lay one last time. I knew I wasn't the only one who was dying today.

Then all went black.

This isn't life any more.

This. Is. Death.

*Serene's POV*

I woke up in a dark room. I could feel the water running through the ground once again. My powers had returned and now I stood a chance.

Council's brother, Darkment, had been trying to contain me for a while. I knew much about his past with Council and now that he had disappeared Darkment was trying to kill me and my friends.

I snapped out of my thoughts when the door opened.

"Hello sister," Andrew spoke.

"How are you back?" I snapped.

"Darkment brought me back to keep you from getting any ideas."

That won't do any good. Andrew doesn't know my powers are back but I have to do something and fast.

I formed a water whip and cracked the whip hard against the floor. Andrew smirked at me then brought out a dagger.

What would that do against me at a time like this?

I charged Andrew and with the last bit of strength I had in me, I attacked.

Andrew managed to dodge every blow I threw at him but that's when I realized what was happening and I was too late.

Andrew grew taller and changed shape.

Not him.

Not Darkment.

That's why I couldn't stop him.

"Hello Serene. Been a while hasn't it?"

He then stabbed me in the side and left the dagger there. I screamed in pain.

"N-No. You c-can't win." I stuttered.

"Oh my dear, I already have."

"Serene!" I heard another voice yelling for me.

Lloyd.

He was close.

"Lloyd!" my voice cracked.

Darkment smirked. "Soon he will join you in your fate."

The the world went black.

I wasn't going to make it.

Death was upon me.
