Sooo, I was tagged by dream-is-reality and LKellam to do this. I'm supposed to list my five favorite character portrayals.
Here's goes nothing!

1. David Tennant as the Doctor.

He was just PERFECT for the role. Since he was a long-time fan of Doctor Who, he already had a feel for the Doctor's eccentricity and brilliance. He also brought a sense of strength and emotional vulnerability to the character that Matt Smith couldn't replicate. Not to mention, Tennant is pretty good-looking. 😏

2. Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter.

Call me crazy, but I believe Radcliffe did a REALLY good portrayal of Harry Potter, despite not looking very much like him (height and eye color). Any un-Harry Potterness was do to the part of those who wrote the screen-plays, not his acting. Fight me.

3. Chris Pratt as Starlord (Peter Quill).

Chris Pratt is excellent at roles where his character is humorous, loyal, and not always sure what they're doing. Plus, he was engineered by Marvel to be the perfect actor.

4. Keala Settle as Lettie Lutz.

Just the way she presented the character's emotions and mannerisms was PERFECT! When you first meet her, you see how insecure and hurt the character is, and throughout the movie you see her arc.

5. Ben Platt as Evan Hansen.

Okay, I've never actually seen the Broadway production, but I've heard about how excellent Platt's performances were. He had taken on so much of the character's mannerisms that he had to work with a therapist to stop having the anxious tics that he picked up from his character, Evan. He also did really well in Pitch Perfect, even though you don't see much of him in the movie.
