Imagine...

You've been upstairs in your room for a long while, just browsing the internet while listening to music with your earbuds on. 

You aren't sure how long you've been up there- whether it's been a month, a few days, or just an hour. 

Maybe it's time you went downstairs to get a snack and maybe a cup of coffee or something. 

You pull out your earbuds and turn off your computer, and then go downstairs.

Halfway down the stairs, you realize that it's eerily quiet. Huh. Maybe it's just because your music was blaring in your earbuds just a minute ago.

But once you're downstairs, you see that nobody's there. No annoying siblings, no parents- not even your pet. 

It's dark downstairs- but the light above the kitchen table is lit, luckily. 

Suddenly, it goes out. Dang it.

You hear a slow laugh right behind you, and you feel warm breath on the back of your neck. 

You..... slowly..... turn..... around.....
