2020 :(

January: Decent start. Got the newest season of Doctor Who rolling. Got Sacha Dhawan as the Master. I was dealing with mental health issues and planning on taking a two year copywriting course. Started therapy again. Only vaguely aware of COVID-19. I was convinced that it would quiet down and no one one would even mention it by mid-February.

February: Pretty uneventful. Discovered that for copywriting you need a two-year degree at the very least. Started looking into Phoenix. My mom got news that she was being taken back to court by my dad. COVID-19 situation got worse, and had even entered my state.

March: The month where everything started going very wrong. My sister left to go live with our dad. We had the court stuff, but nothing was decided because we didn't even make it to the court room. I had a dog-sitting gig that weekend and lost their house key. The lockdown started then, and I got some mild stomach bug or something. Stress tends to make me sick anyway.

April: Lockdown. Simultaneously long and short. I think my other brother left to live with our dad then. I got a succulent. Melissa and I finished Eleven's run on Doctor Who. We got chicks, but Boi got into them.

May: I don't even remember much of it. I ordered the Eleventh Doctor's blue variation of his Season 5 shirt and blazer off some chap in the UK. Of course it isn't here yet. Boi had bit a neighbor who had been walking past the house and my mom had to surrender him because of the liability. My oldest brother turned eighteen.

June: I don't remember much, except for the protests and being in a lot of mental distress. My sister turned seventeen. I think Phoenix University rejected me in June, too.

July: My mom has been exposed to COVID-19, but she tested negative luckily. My two youngest brothers had to spend the month at our dad's and our two stepbrothers went to their mom's. I had the whole month off from babysitting, and I started drawing again and started watching Classic Doctor Who. I also met a local author at his socially distanced book signing.

August: The boys came back home, and I started back with the local community college. I injured my finger.

September: I finished a short story that's being published in an anthology in 2021, after my finger healed up enough to work on it for a long stretch. My brothers started back school, with my two youngest brothers doing online and our stepbrothers going on campus. My mom got into a wreck and got a concussion.

October: Trump got COVID-19. My youngest brother turned five. My mom had her birthday. I turned 20. Melissa and I finished the rest of NuWho together.

November: NaNoWriMo and stuff. Biden won the election. I finally got my birthday present from my mom—fabric and buttons for a cosplay. I can't remember much else tbh.

December: I finished the semester. I got a new wig. The boys all went to their other parents' houses for Christmas. Pretty uneventful month for me, comparatively. I feel like I can't remember much from this month.

Well, here's to hoping and praying that 2021 might be at least a bit better.
