It was actually Balin, I must be dreaming because this can't be real.

"Thank you so much, may I return tomorrow for an interview?"

I asked trying to stay calm when a dwarf who comes from a fictional world is sitting right in front of me, not to mention that he dies by the time The Lord Of The Rings happens.

"That's fine m'lady I'll have Mr Durin interview you himself."

By then I was speechless as Ellie thanked him and dragged me away, how she could still stay so calm I would never know.

"Ellie, Balin, Durin, Bilbo, Erebor, Bag End, Middle Earth."

I mumbled still trying to comprehend what on earth we just witnessed.

Ellie just dragged me round a corner to where our new house was.

"Did we just go round in a circle?"

I asked finally able to speak.

"Umm yeah I think we did!"

Ellie whispered guiltily unlocking the house and stepping inside.
The smell of fresh paint still lingered in the air and our boxes were still unpacked.

"Home sweet New Zealand home."

Ellie sighed sitting down on the sofa relaxing.

"Hoooome is behind the wooooorld ahead."

I started to sing when Ellie cut me off.

"Becca!! Too much emotion."

Ellie warned whilst grabbing my arm to stop me from dancing around.

"And there are many paths TO GET LOST DOWN!"

I shouted playfully at Ellie.

"Aw come on Becca it wasn't all that bad, we did get to see MIDDLE EARTH CHARACTERS!"

Ellie shouted back whilst pushing me back down to sit on the sofa
She sighed dreamily and whispered;

"I wonder if I'll get to meet Fíli!!!"

"You and your massive crush on Fíli."

I laughed rolling my eyes, but I had to admit he was pretty cute.

"Becca you said he was cute out loud you know!!"

Ellie said bursting into laughter.

"Still not as cute as Bilbo though!!!"

I retorted as my mind drifted to our meeting with him.
His cute curly hair, his adorable pointed ears and his light brown eyes filled with joy.

As the night drew closer Ellie and I got out our copies of The Hobbit and started reading our favourite book over again for the hundredth time before we fell asleep and a new day full of opportunities would dawn.
