Ellie's POV

I went out for a walk and came back to a broken into house and the whole place was wrecked.

"Oh god no no no no no no."

I said fumbling for my phone and calling Fíli.

"Hey lion, there's a bit of a problem. The house has been broken into and everything is ruined."

I said starting to panic.

"Stay there princess I'll be there soon okay, just breathe."

Fíli said obviously hearing the panic in my voice.

Oh god who could do such a thing, and why.
I sank down to the pavement as my heartbeat sped up and I was left gasping for air.

"Ellie? Ellie oh my god are you okay."

Fíli arrived and pulled me into a hug.

"shhhh it's okay beautiful, no one was hurt, you're okay."

He said whilst rubbing my back trying to calm me down.
After a few minutes I managed to stand up and Fíli lead me into the trashed house.

"What happened Ellie?"

He asked with his arm still protectively wrapped around my waist.

"I don't know Fee I just went out for a walk and came back to this."

I said still slightly in shock because of the sight before me.

"Gather up important belongings and I'll help you take them to my house okay."

Fíli said hugging me and heading into the spare room to look for anything which was salvageable.

Who could have done such a thing, and more importantly why?

Becca's POV

I groaned as my eyes flickered open and the bright light burst through almost blinding me.
As I tried to sit up the world spun around me and I collapsed back onto a soft cushiony surface.
Groaning again I tried to open my eyes.

"Uncle she's awake."

I heard a voice say. Uncle, that must mean it's Fíli or Kíli and it must mean that Thorin's here as well.

I opened my eyes and saw Kíli staring down at me.

"Kíli, personal space please."

I said trying to sit up but failing again.

"What in the name of Mahal happened?"

I sighed rubbing my eyes.

"And where on earth am I?"

I panicked slightly not recognising where I was laying.

"Kíli unlocked the door quite suddenly and you fell back and were knocked out, you are in our house's spare bedroom."

Thorin said from the other side of me.

"Comfy bed."

I said before my eyes closed and I drifted back to sleep.

Fíli's POV

Ellie and I had just finished packing up all that we could into boxes still left out from when Becca and Ellie arrived here around a month ago.

"I'll call Becca to tell her what happened."

Ellie said whilst I carried the boxes out to the front of the house.

"Fee, why is my best friend at your house?!"

Ellie said hanging up and walking over to me.

"Um, I have no clue?"

I said picking up a pile of boxes and walking slowly down the street.

"Let's go see them shall we?"
