Eyes not seen

Eyes that can deceive

And hide the games people play

Emotions in rhyme

And fantasies contrived

Are often cleverly portrayed

When only words

No voices heard

Deception hides behind every text

And images seen

Are ill conceived

They can be a passion’s hex

When there is no touch

No, nothing, as such

It’s like a faceless dream

So I say beware

Of this lovers? snare

Where nothing is as it seems
