"Phew, just a few more arches and I will be done with today's lawn moving!" I say to myself as I soon enough finish up with my current job and soon get the cash as per usual.

Yeah, I am once again on with getting in money to pay for my next entry fee, which is against someone named Destroyman. Huh, guess assassins can have all sorts of names nowadays...

Either way, I do believe I have more than enough to pay for the entry fee now and getting some pending payments as well, though I will hold out on it a little longer until I have done some things that might require some money.

...Alright yeah, you got me, I do want to have some money for any figures I get interested in buying. However though, I also have a lot to spend on my girlfriend, or no wait, fiancée, even if Touko herself says I shouldn't worry, as the most valuable and priceless thing she already has is none other than... me.

When she told me this, I blushed so much that I were probably beet red at that point, didn't help that Touko were hugging me as well, which just adds to the absolute love I feel for her..!

It's still unreal though that we unofficially became engaged, and it's just some more steps to actually getting married one day.

It's been a week since that happened, but it feels like yesterday when Touko without any hesitation told me that she wants to marry me, not long after catching me slightly off-guard with absolutely obliterating me with kisses, which I am pretty sure I fainted from the absolute bliss I were feeling from it all..!

Of course, we have to be vary of Touko's mom, as she seems to not favor me too much. I genuinely thought her mom liked me like her dad does, but guess one shouldn't assume about people.

I just hope something will be able to convince her, but I can imagine as long as Mr. Kirigaya is around, she won't be going on and on with questioning why Touko is with someone like me.

Anyways, for now I will just take this all in to it's fullest. I have sealed my deal basically to be with Touko forever and ever, the greatest deal I could have ever accepted in my whole life.

After all my thoughts, I begin heading back home, but suddenly I hear fireworks, of all things, going off, and soon after a girl yelling at the top of her lungs.

"KUUUUURUUUMIIIII!"

After hearing this girl, I soon see two girls, one with a very cream-silver long hair and the other with a more normal blonde short hair, running out and past the school gates of the school I am passing by, both wearing what looks like DJ attire, albeit with a very princess look to them.

After them, a taller girl, with a dark red esque hair color and same attire, runs out as well and begins chasing the two other girls.

"That's it! I can let other things slip by, but fireworks?!" the red hair yells as I basically see a scene in front of me that would fit perfectly with Yakety Sax.

"Haruna please, it's just a prank, chill!" the silver haired girl pleads as the blonde girl next to her is just screaming in terror.

"You scared Miyu to her very core, this is your worst prank yet, Kurumi Shiratori!" the red hair, apparently named Haruna, says as she keeps on closing in more and more at Kurumi and her blonde friend.

"But Miiko didn't do anything, at least give her mercy!" Kurumi yells as her friend next to her, named Miiko, frantically nods her head, which causes Haruna to stop with a screech in her shoes.

"Oh yeah, true..." she says as she looks up at the sky while thinking, before looking back at the two. "Alright, Miiko, you can go back to Miyu."

"T-thank you Haruna..!" Miiko says as she heads back to the school, Kurumi trying to slip with her as well, before Haruna grabs onto Kurumi and turns her around.

"And where exactly do you think you were going, Miss Shiratori?" Haruna says with a very strict voice as Kurumi can only gulp. "I- Huh?"

Oh crap, I forgot for a moment I am the one witnessing this all, as Haruna suddenly looks to me, which Kurumi does as well soon after.

"Uuuh... Meeeow..?"

Haruna and Kurumi are just staring with confused expressions at me, which makes the former loose her grip on the latter, rendering her free.

"Haha yes! You came in at the right time, my hero!" Kurumi says as she suddenly rushes up to me and... hugs me?!

"Hero? Uh, I just passed by, this was not my intention-"

"A coincidence hero then!" Kurumi says as she laughs while letting go off the hug and looking at me.

"What the, that exists-? Oh wait, it actually does..." I say to myself as I realize that being a "coincidence hero" is much more normal to happen than you would expect.

Heck, I basically were a coincidence hero when I had to save Kokoro back when Death Metal and his goons had taken over the Tsurumaki Manor temporarily, as she had just come back from her school and completely unaware of what was transpiring.

"Excuse me for interrupting this conversation, but why exactly are you around here?" Haruna says as she goes up to me, most likely being suspicious about why I'm in front of an all-girls school, out of all places.

Huh, guess being a hero isn't the only coincidence here, accidental pervert seems to be on the menu as well.

"To clear any misunderstandings right off the bat; I were just casually passing by here after finishing today's job, before I heard all this commotion."

"Oh, so no intentions of sneaking around here to look at any of the students?"

"Ah hell no! I have a girlfriend already, I do not do such perverted things, period!"

"Alright, just checking really." Haruna says as she remains in a neutral position.

"Hmm, wait a minute..." Kurumi says as she takes a closer look at me. "Oooh wait, you are TOKO's boyfriend!"

"Ah, also someone that follows her on social media I assume?"

"Yep! She is very cool and very fashionable!" she says as I chuckle and nod, as that certainly fits in on Touko, with me being able to add even more about my beloved if I had the time.

"Are you two still out here- Oh, who is that?"

I turn my head to the one talking, which turns out to be a pink haired girl, sporting the same outfit like Haruna and Kurumi, and Miiko too for that matter.

"Miyu, Miyu, he is TOKO's boyfriend! You know, that guy that fills up more than half of her social media pages!"

"Aah, you are right Kurumi! Nice to meet you, uh, what was it again... Stephy?"

"Oh uh, my actual name is Stephan, last name Klausch. What Touko tend to type is a nickname she uses for me."

"Oh! I'm sorry, though I did kinda assume that seemed more like a cutesy nickname, I have no idea why I didn't just ask you..."

"Hey, no worries, it's all fine." I tell Miyu, with her sighing in relief. "Oh yeah, I couldn't help but to notice, are you four possibly in some sort of DJ unit?"

"How so? Want to scout us for something?"

"Oh no, not at all, uh, Haruna, was it? I am just asking as some of my friends at my school happen to be DJs as well."

"Could it be Yoba Academy?" Kurumi asks, which I nod to, as that is indeed the school I am on. "Ooh, one of my friends, Esora, is there, so I assume you know her personally as well now?"

"Yup, that's correct."

"Hmph, she forgot telling me about you it seems." she says as she pouts, before smiling soon after again. "Ah well, more surprise for me really to have met TOKO's boyfriend!"

"Well, seeing as you know we are DJs, and you seem to have picked up on our names, I guess we can introduce our unit!" Miyu cheerfully says as everyone nods, albeit Haruna being slightly reluctant in her nod.

"Yay, time to get into pose!"

"Oh this is embarrassing..."

"Miiko will do the best pose possible!"

After some talking, they get into a pose while looking at me.

"We are Lyrical Lily, hope you consider listening to us sometime!" Miyu cheerfully says as soon they get into more neutral poses.

"I see, Lyrical Lily. Well, nice to meet more of the girls that are contributing to such a quick raise of interest in DJs." I tell them as they all nod and smile. "Well, I should be on my way, can't stick around here forever after all. See you around!"

Once again, not the longest introduction, but considering that Kurumi has close contact with Esora, I can only imagine this won't be the last I get to see of them.

Continuing on, I soon arrive at home... and see Chiyu as per usual being outside. She really is becoming like a recurring character in a video game that always has something new to say.

"Ah, Stephan! Good that you came home, I wish to tell you something!" she says as I approach her, and I give her a signal to go on. "Not here, let's go inside and up to my penthouse first!"

"Alright, if you say so." I reply as we soon head up and enters her penthouse.

"So, I know you've been using your current beam katana a lot. But have you considered wanting to have a much more improved version?"

"Oh, I have actually!"

"Great, because I had some contacts that provided me with this new prototype. Hope it will be to your liking!" she says as she takes out a holstered beam katana and deploys it. "They call it the Tsubaki, and it's all yours now!"

Getting the weapon handed to me, I grip onto it and lightly swing it around to get a feel for it.

Definitely a much more sleeker design than the Blood Berry. Now it's only a matter of time before I get to know it's general improvements when in combat.

"Should I pay you, Chiyu?"

"Nope, this one is all free for you, I covered the cost. They did say however if you want to see more improvements done to the next Tsubaki prototype, you would need to pay."

"Alright, but this one should do for now honestly." I say as I holster it and soon look at Chiyu. "Thanks again, Chiyu, you are a quite great friend to me, really."

"I-I am just doing fail-saves so you won't mess up bringing the UAA down..!" Chiyu utters out as she blushes, before smiling a little soon enough. "...Thanks though, you are a great friend as well."

"Heh, of course we are. You and I work together like a team at this point."

"A team, huh? Maybe we should give our team a name?"

"Hmm... Ah, I know; Team Mechagodzilla!" I say proudly, but Chiyu just looks weirdly at me, oops... "Never mind..."

"Whatever you say really, you are the fighter here after all." Chiyu says as she shrugs and soon get back to being her usual self. "Right, for now though, let's talk about chilling!"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"What I mean is that I am finally going to arrange that pool party here that I spoke about the other day!"

"Oh, is that going to be soon?" I ask her as she thinks for a moment, before nodding.

"Yep, should happen in the coming weekend!" she tells me as she immediately begins tapping away on her phone, seemingly sending out the message about the pool party to all the band girls.

"DJ units such as Happy Around, Peaky P-Key, Photon Maiden and Lyrical Lily should also be arriving at this party!" she proudly says soon after sending the message. "More people to brag to about Raise A Suilen, after all~!"

"Heh, that's very you after all, Chiyu-" I say before I get a message in my phone, which is from Touko, and I can only assume she got the message and thought of me at once.

Touko: Did you hear about the pool party?! I will put on my very best bikini just for you, darling~

Me: Yeah I heard, and I can't wait!

Touko: Maybe a sneak peek at it later~?

Me: ...Yes

Touko: As expected lol! Hear from you later Stephy~

"Aha, Touko already got the message, huh?"

"I am going to have the mightiest nosebleed later..." I say as Chiyu just laughs from my response as I can only blush from thinking about Touko in a bikini.

"Steeephy, want to put sun lotion on my back~?"

Agh, I'm not going to handle this pool party well with Touko by my side, it won't help either that she loves seducing me at times, so I will actually be horny as hell during this party...

Anyways, that's for the weekend, the present is now and what I should mainly be thinking about.

"So, going back on topic with your new beam katana; I assume you have been working up a lot yet again to get money for the next entry fee?"

"Yeah, as usual. Though isn't your mother wealthy and all, considering you have this penthouse and able to have the most expensive equipment?"

"Well, true, I am certainly rich with what I have." Chiyu replies as she shrugs. "But my mom is one heck of a con artist, so she will press money out of you, and other victims, despite her having it all to be able to set up these ranking battles without extra costs."

"What a dumbass your mother is." I can just reply as Chiyu laughs and nods from what I just said.

We become somewhat quiet after this, as we don't know what else to say.

"Why haven't you and Touko had sex already?"

"Wha- CHIYU, WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT SAYING THAT!?"

After having gotten flustered from Chiyu's question, I soon head up into my apartment, now wondering what I should do for the rest of the day.

"Something at least has to be done before I go on the usual killing... Geez, not even I can still believe what I am saying, but guess that's just how it is being an assassin."

My phone soon gets a message, and it's from Touko; I actually forgot she would be sending me a selfie were she is wearing her bikini!

Opening the selfie, I can see how she made sure to include as much of herself in it, even blowing a kiss to me in the photo.

As expected, she looks absolutely amazing in it, holy fucking crap..! Aaand here comes the nosebleed...

I don't hesitate to type back just how much I love it and a ton of more compliments afterwards. My praises for my beloved Touko are endless~!

I get a reply from her absolutely smackful with heart and kiss emojis, so guess I am not alone about being excited in this situation, hehe.

Oh man, Touko... Having met you still remains the best thing to have ever happened to me, the way you energize me everytime, I love it!

And the fact that we are unofficially engaged as well, it makes things even better, I want to stay forever by your side..!

I lay down on my bed, once again having my head only being filled with Touko. God I want to hug her so badly right now, and kiss her as well, that is if she doesn't manage to strike me first with her barrage of kisses..!

Fucking hell, I wish I could just go back to having a full on mundane life, I would've been able to spend so much more time with my beloved.

But us being engaged now certainly is an upgrade in our relationship. Hell, both relationship and weapon upgrades, even getting potentially more friends; I am getting upgrades in all sort of ways at this point.

Not long after having laid down for some minutes, I finally get up and stretch myself, once again thinking about what I should go for doing while I expect recent payments to be transacted to my account so I can pay my entry fee.

After I have paid that entry fee and done this battle, you can bet I am going to invite Touko to somewhere so it can just be her and me for a day; a picnic should do the trick!

"...Eh, this is boring, I think I will just head out again." I tell myself as I do just that; head out of my apartment and decide to just head downtown to see what I can do to pass time.

Touko did tell me she were hanging out with some friends today after having messaged me that bikini selfie.

Looking through her social media, she also put up a similar selfie on her page, albeit not showing exactly as much of her body and omitting the blow kiss.

Oh man, she really just went for taking a selfie specifically for me... Or well, she always does that honestly, most of the selfies sent to me being in a more exotic manner compared to her selfies she normally uploads.

As I continue on, I soon reach one of those bars that sells absolutely great tasting ice cream, guess taking a smaller cone won't hurt.

Heading inside, I look around before going up to the desk.

"One small cone with chocolate flavor, thank you!" I tell the cashier as they get on with it at once.

Spending a little money doesn't hurt, I will have more than enough for the entry fee anyways.

As I walk to sit somewhere, I see someone I did not expect to see here.

And it isn't long until she sees me as well.

"*gasp* Stephy! Oh my god, my Stephy is here~!"

Yep, you guessed it, my beloved happened to be right at this place with her friends.

"Oh wow, he is cuter in real life!" One of Touko's friends says as she looks at me, with the other friends nodding, and Touko of course nodding as well, but in a way like there is no contest about that at all for her.

"Can I sit down here?" I ask Touko as she at once hops to the side and makes space for me, looking with that usual expression when she is feeling extra affectionate with me. "Happy to meet you all, I am Stephan Klausch. You seem like very cool friends to my beloved when she isn't hanging out with anyone from any of her or any other band."

"Wow, he actually does say 'my beloved' to you, Touko. That's so sweet, even sweeter than this ice cream!"

"Hehe, I know~! Stephy is my wonderful sweetie boyfriend~" Touko says as she decides to kiss me on my cheek, making me heavily blush from the sudden kiss.

Doesn't help that she basically showed herself half naked to me earlier on the day, so I am a little extra... excited.

"He blushes so much as well, it's adorable~!"

"Oh man, do you think he could be an actual prince charming?!" One of the friends says as the others can't help but to giggle over what she just said.

"I have heard that you bring a lot of joy to Touko, is that really so?" Another one of the friends says as she and the others looks at me in anticipation.

"Well I hope so, as she brings me so much joy as well!" I say as I can't help but to smile and look at Touko, who is smiling brightly while blushing and looking back at me.

"Oh my god, they are so in love..!"

"They are basically every romantic couple in a nutshell, it's so adorable!"

"Touko! Why not kiss him like in that selfie you took one time, where he was next to you and had so many kiss marks from you?"

"Oooh, you want me to just go all out on Stephy right here and now~?" Touko asks her friends as they nod and bring up their phones, apparently to record. "Well, are you okay with that, Stephy? I don't want to do something like this without your approval after all..."

"A-ah, I am actually fully okay with it! But I don't know where to put my ice cream in the meantime..." I say as I feel little disappointed that I might have to throw away my tasty ice cream...

"Oh! Use this awesome stand, I got it when I ordered my parfait~!" Touko tells me as she brings up a small stand, perfect to put ice cream cones in.

"Yes, nice!" I say as I put the ice cream in the stand, but right after, Touko embraces me in a hug and looks at me with half lidded eyes, licking her lips even.

"Now time for an even sweeter threat, I might get diabetes from just how sweet you are, Stephy~" Touko tells me as she kisses me once again on my cheek before temporarily releasing me from the hug.

Touko searches around in one of her pockets, and takes out a lipstick, most likely the usual one she uses to make her lips having a more pinkish hue to it and stand out more in general. She looks so great with it...

"Just load yourself up..!" Touko says as she looks at the cameras currently recording her and me, while she is putting on the lipstick at her lips. "You gotta have it last long, after all~"

"It's strange that we are basically making this like a tutorial-"

"And kiss!"

"Whoa, whOA, WHOA!"

I couldn't say much more before I found myself ending up getting my small wish of getting to hug and kiss my beloved today fullfilled, just under a few smaller different circumstances..!

"Wooo, she is going all out on him~! And he looks so adorable blushing so heavily, but still hugging onto Touko, he loves what she is doing!"

Well, this afternoon just became god damn great!

After an hour or so, and also having finished eating our desserts, we all say our goodbye. Albeit of course, Touko decides to stick with me.

I am happy that I always get to be with her basically every chapter, otherwise how the hell would I even want to go on with these bullshit rankings?

Oh, and I can basically nae nae on other romance literature, because I at least have my beloved from basically the start, doesn't take ages to develop your relationship if you click quite well.

Not to say though that we are still discovering each other, but so far, I can say for sure that everything about Touko is perfection, I love everything about her...

"Ah, I almost forgot, but I wanted to ask you if we should try going on a picnic someday after I have fought this next coming ranker, what do you say?"

"Ooh, a picnic? A picnic where it's just you and me would be amazing~!"

"Great, having some alone time with you always puts my mind at ease." I reply to Touko as we go for holding each other's hand. I always love holding her hand, as it's always so soft of it, despite her playing an instrument and all.

Touko tries using gloves a lot more when practicing, just to not get blisters on her fingers, but I always tell her she doesn't have to worry about what I think of the bandages she puts on her fingers.

I mean, she has told me that she loves me despite if I get any scars on my body, like with my leg. Me having a scar from when it got severed does not bother her in the slightest.

So why should I bother if she ever has blisters and/or bandages on her fingers? Touko is Touko, and I love her immensely and beyond, no matter what.

While we are walking, I very conveniently get my final payments, so I decide to pay it right away. I could do it at an ATM, but doing it via my phone is more convenient.

"Paid for the entry fee?" Touko asks me as I nod, to which she hugs me in response. "Alright... But can you come with me until I arrive at my home, at least..?"

"Of course my love." I tell her as she hugs me again, cheering up more after getting somewhat down upon hearing that it's now time again for me to fight.

We continue holding each other's hand as Touko walks close to me, and we remain pretty quiet all the way through. Not long after, we finally reach Touko's home, and she decides she will go by the entrance to the kimono shop to get inside.

She lays one final kiss on my lips before releasing my hand and heading towards the entrance.

"Hey Touko."

"Yes Stephy?" she asks, turning around and anticipating what I am going to say.

"I love you so much." I tell her while smiling at her, causing her to smile as well and giggle.

"I know, and I love you even more, darling~!"

We wave to each other before she enters, and I am left, sighing to myself.

"Hadn't I become partially busy with being an assassin, I could've come with her inside..." I say to myself as I grunt and walk away towards the apartment complex. Gotta start preparing for the fight-

"Wait!"

I suddenly hear Touko yell out as she is running out to me.

"Oh, what's wrong?"

"Ah, nothing is wrong! Almost just forgot I wanted to give you this." she tells me as she hands me two pins, one that looks similar to her guitar and the other a butterfly, the butterfly Morfonica uses in their logo to be specific.

"These are really pretty..." I say as I look at the two pins.

"The one shaped after my guitar I ordered by myself to give to you, but the butterfly is a present from me and my bandmates!"

"Oh, how come they want to give me a present?"

"Come on now, Stephy, you heard Rui the other day~" she says to me as she giggles. "She is right about me taking things much, much more seriously now in the band, and it's thanks to you..!"

"Oh, uh..."

"So that's why Fusuke decided that we all share the payment of a custom ordered pin!"

"Kind off her really, I guess it means a lot that you take it seriously in your band?"

"Yep it does, and it's all thanks to you always being such a stellar person. You are the greatest fiancé a girl could ever ask for~"

"Heh, I am glad to hear that." I tell her as I go in for this time to kiss her on her cheek. So soft against my lips...

"Aww, Stephy~" Touko replies in reaction from the kiss as she blushes as well. "I wish I could stay longer with you..."

"So do I, Touko, so do I..." I reply as we hug each other just one more time before we finally wave each other goodbye.

Crap, it's just getting harder and harder saying my goodbyes to Touko. But I should definitely think about what she said, about staying longer by my side, because I want that as well.

Perhaps someday I might ask her if she wants to live at my apartment, or live with her, either way is fine as they have an empty room that is currently unused, so perhaps...

Ah well, I will think more about it after the fight, can't have my thoughts elsewhere after all.

As I soon arrive at home, I wait in for late afternoon to strike on the clock, and I get a message at last that it's time to fight again.

Time to claim rank 96 from this dude called Destroyman, so let's see what he has to offer.

Taking my ever so trusty bike, I begin pedaling towards the location I will meet him at, which appears to be a film studio. Huh, they are everywhere nowadays it seems...

Stopping to halt in front of the building, I look upon it, before getting off my bike and immediately deploy my beam katana, the Tsubaki, which Chiyu gave me earlier today.

"Time to tear some shit up-"

But as I begin talking, I hesitate, because just... listen to me...

God damn it, no! It's too late to pull out, I was too quick with getting into this fighting without considering the consequenses. One of the consequenses being becoming a fucked up guy that doesn't mind killing for sport, but...

At least I keep my humane side around thanks to Touko. As long as I am with her, I will live and breath easily...

I smile to myself as I have her on my mind once again, before with more confidence holding onto my new beam katana.

"I will come back home, my beloved Touko Kirigaya, I always do..!"

I rush past the gates and onto the parking lot of the film studio, and soon run into one of the buildings that is currently open of it.

There I encounter goons, but I swipe my leg at them just to make them fall. I am not killing anyone who isn't my target, not today..!

I hear some of them shooting guns, but I try my best to just keep on running forward. I don't care if I have to kill them just to easier get to my target, I refuse to end lives that are only to serve.

Meanwhile, at another place...

"You can't be serious, he is going against the norm of how these ranking battles works again!" Sothis says as she looks over the young man who got a second chance at life.

"I guess not modifying his personality in anyway was the right thing to do, because I have been seeing tearjerkers after tearjerkers as soon as he is with his Touko..!" she says as she grabs yet another napkin to blow her nose, as she has been crying non-stop over the couple being so close to them.

"If only I could feel that sort of romance again..."

As she lays down, she thinks over the fact that Stephan is pretty much going in his own pace with defeating the assassins.

"Welp, he is not like him after all, and while he showed similar traits to him in the beginning, he is truly rule breaking of him." she says to herself, before she turns around from hearing footsteps.

Not even having turned around, a beam katana gets brought close to her head.

"So, you are the one who suddenly transported me here. Do you have any idea how rough this is considering I am just about to kill the shit out of that damn princefuck 'Lord' FU?!"

"I am sorry for the inconvience, and for taking you out of your world for a little bit. But trust me, time does not flow like normally here, I have stopped time in your world, so you will get back to your business like usually once I send you back."

"Better be fucking true... Now, what made you temporarily take me out of my game series for?"

"Well, you see, I just want you to challenge a young man by the name of Stephan Klausch." Sothis begins as she turns around to face the man she transported. "Care to hear the details, Travis Touchdown?"

Back to our protagonist...

"AAAAAAHHHH!"

I yell out as I burst through door after door, ignoring any goons slicing or shooting towards me, I refuse to kill them.

As I keep on bursting through door after door, I start feeling sort of exhausted, though not really being that I am tired but I need to take a fucking shit...

This is fucking embarrassing, why do I suddenly need to do number 2 and possibly 1 as well right now?!

I keep on walking, before I finally spot a toilet. Absolutely hate going to toilets that aren't in my comfy dwarf apartment, but this will do..!

"Time to drop a nice save..." I say to myself as I enter. Not long after, I get out, feeling revitalized.

Feeling ready to fight Destroyman, here I come you son of a bitch!

I carefully enter the last building, and inside, I find... a postman..?

"What the... Are you... ranked?" I ask the postman, though I soon notice a lot of corpses laying around him.

"Ah, you must be Stephan Klausch! Oh, so young, are you really an... assassin?"

"Too bad, yes." I reply to him as I shrug my shoulders.

"I see, well, how about I go easy on you? Making it a fair fight, you know?"

"Doesn't... sound too bad." I reply as I am beginning to wonder how in the world this guy can get a name like 'Destroy'man, there isn't much destroy about his personality. Albeit the corpses around him still makes me on edge about him.

"Oh, these are just customers! They jusy complained and complained, never satisfied it seems nowadays, so had to take care of it really."

"Mhm..."

"Anyways, the fight it was! Can you please turn around for a moment?"

"I, uh... Ah, you know, just fuck it, I will follow after what you say- JESUS CHRIST!"

As soon as I had turned around, an energy ball flies right past me, hitting the wall and exploding on impact. I turn back to my target, and he is suddenly fully suited up.

"Damn it, I missed..!"

"Fair fight my ass! You were trying to poach the kill without my acknowledgement, you fucking bastard-!"

But as I begin running at him, he takes his hand up and does a stop gesture, and I rather not crash into him, so I take and stop.

"What the fuck is it?"

"So relied up... Look, I'm sorry about that, this time we will have a fair fight!" Destroyman tells me as he soon goes for holding his hand to expect a handshake from me.

"A handshake, huh..." I say as I think a little first, before putting my right hand where I am currently wearing a glove on in Destroyman's left hand.

"Destroy... spark!" I can hear him whisper with a snicker, but he soon gets confused. "What the... Destroy Spark! Destroy Spark! DESTROY FUCKING SPARK!"

"So relied up." I say as I shake his hand before letting go. "Was something supposed to spark? Sorry about that then, my glove is 110% electricity proof, so I am untouchable from such hazards, in my right hand that is."

"What?! Who gave you that?!"

"Not fucking telling you at least!" I reply as I can't say it was a recent gift from Touko because she knows I like cool gloves, so she made some for me. Thank you my beloved, you are saving my life in more ways than you can possibly imagine.

"Argh, fine then! Come and get some, fuck!" Destroyman says as he jumps away to distance himself somewhat from me, before raising up again and pointing at me. "You're as good as dead..!"

"About damn time the fight began!" I reply as I begin charging at Destroyman.

"Destroy Spark!" he calls out as he reaches out his hand, but I avoid it to not get shocked by him, and manage to get a hit on him.

"Gotta fight better, Destroyman!" I tell him as I get in a few more strikes before he punches me in the face, making me fall on my back, but I am quick to get up again. "Not enough to bring me down!"

"Alright, little shit, how about; Destroy Pound!"

As he calls this attack out, he pounds into the ground next to me, creating a feasible enough shockwave, knocking me back again.

"Oh man, you've got tricks up your sleeves-"

"Destroy Beam!"

I don't have any time to say anything as he shoots out two beams at me from the sides of his head, but these ones I am quick to dodge.

"Stand still already!" he yells out as he hunches down to get a more precise aim at me.

"Destroy Cannon!"

Calling this out, he literally does a Hadouken attack and shoots out a ball of energy at me, but once again, I avoid it.

He keeps on running around the building, distancing himself as much as he can from me while calling out all his attacks. The more he calls out, the easier it gets to predict what he will strike with

"Fine then, guess it's time for the ultimate attack! Destroooy..." he begins as I can see that the belt around his pelvis is starting to charge up. "...BUSTER!"

This attack does some amazing range and damage, as anything posing as an obstacle was reduced to ashes by him now.

"Haha, would you look at that, now you will be- OOF!"

"Rule number... something; never laugh and/or let your ego show during a fight, you will get your enemy much more up your ass otherwise!" I tell Destroyman after he decided to ego flex at me in the middle of the battle, bad chance there!

"Just you fucking wait!" he hisses at me as he manages to catch me into a Destroy Spark, paralyzing me slightly and knocking me back with Destroy Pound.

I get up again, and ready myself like nothing, though that admittedly hurt as shit, but better to not reveal that to the one I am fighting. I will tend to wounds after this shit is over..!

Continuing with some more dodges from his predictable attacks, I finally get behind Destroyman, and stab him into his back with the beam katana.

-music end-

"Augh, no..!" Destroyman says as he coughs up blood. "P-please, no more..!"

"Yeah, no more heroes indeed, Mr. Cosplay..!" I hiss at him as I drive the beam katana further into his back, making him wince more in pain.

"Please help me..!"

"Begin for your life? Right here and now?" I ask him as he nods. "You are insane, I do not trust you."

"Please, I won't do anything, just save..!" he pleads as he coughs up more blood.

"Alright, but then fuck off at once and let me take your rank as well."

But as soon as Destroyman gets pulled away from the beam katana, he grins to himself before activating a pair of barrels from his chest and begins shooting them, laughing like a maniac.

None of the shoots actually hit me, so I just slice him on the middle to just get it over with.

"Good night, asshole." I tell to the bisected corpse of Destroyman before I walk away towards the exit of the building.

I am done here for now, and I rather just get home at once after this battle.

It did end up gory either way, but anything to just get things over with, as usual.

The goons seems to have gone away, most likely not finding any meaning in sticking around when they were left alive. Bastards expect to die after all even if they do their best at trying to subdue me.

Then I will continue on with sparring goons, I have not heard it affects my ranking progress by any means, so I will just go ahead with that plan. Yeah, it will go great for the rest of the ranking battles, I am sure of it.

I soon get a message on my phone, it's from the UAA, and I have indeed gotten my qualifying for rank 96 now. Feels good, albeit it's a shit ton of folks to get through, but I will manage.

And we all know why I will manage~

Oh, speaking off...

I take up my phone again to make a call at once to a certain someone.

"Hey babe, I did it, I finished this ranking battle as well. So let's plan our picnic now then and also the coming pool party at Chiyu's in the weekend!"

(Author's Note: Now this one took quite sometime to get out, I know, so sorry about that.

I can't say I haven't been active with writing, because I do write still time from time on my own, and that's evident from my book dedicated to Touko.

But yeah, I hope you will be able to enjoy this chapter, I don't often try to make them too lenghty, but the 6000 words I reach up in should be good enough really.

Oh and at the time I published this chapter, I am almost finished with No More Heroes 3, just have the last ranking battle to do, and I will be done with what is another absolutely amazing game in an absolutely amazing game series.

And yes, I might consider adding in NMH3 stuff into this book later down the line, but not entirely sure about that. Might be done in a whole new arc, but for now, I have general plans for how the upcoming chapters will be like.
