3 years later

There is a lot of hustle bustle in a big hall.. Lights.. Flowers and decorations everywhere..

The hall was full of people.. Some busy in barking orders while some assisting..

Two men almost in their 50's were bickering about something when a young beautiful lady with a small babybump reached them in order to sort out the matter

Papa and Uncle.. We have guests over here..
Will you please stop bickering as little kids?
For God's sake it's your children's engagement today.. The lady said annoyed..

I know that Betaji but please remind that to your father..
He is still arguing about the menu.. One of them said..

Why will I not?
The menu is veg.. The other one said

God.. These Non-Vegetarians and Vegetarians.. The lady muttered rolling her eyes

They are arguing about the menu from the time their children decided to take the next step in their relationship..

The same lady-Papa and Uncle..
Please spare me.. You both..
Here you both are bickering and there that Drama queen is irritating the hell out of me..

Ugh.. Where is my saviour?

Yea.. You guessed it right..

Its the engagement ceremony of our oh so adorable couple.. KHUSHI AND ARNAV..

THE LADY WAS KHUSHI'S DII AND THE TOO OLDIES WERE KHUSHI'S AND ARNAV'S FATHER RESPECTIVELY..

Soon Arnav's younger brother came running followed by the younger sibling.. The apple of eyes of both brothers.. Their baby sister..

Dii.. Why are you shouting for Bhai? Arnav's brother asked

Because these real mature elders of ours are bickering about the menu from last two months.. Dii shouted

Soon Arnav came all ready for his very own engagement in all his glory but frowned seeing Di's annoyed face..

He reached her..

Arnav-Dii.. You should rest.. What are you doing here?

Di-You should ask this to these Papas and your love..

Arnav-What?

Yea.. Arnav.. Here these two are still fighting for the dishes and there your love is sitting in the room flaring her nose for you know what.. Khushi's jiju said

You Arnav.. The reason is you.. Why didn't you propose my doll officially before talking to Uncle? Khushi's cousin who loved her alot said with fake anger

Arnav sighed..

Arnav-God.. I can't believe it..
She is still stubborn..
Ofcourse if her father is not ready to budge ofcourse along with my father then how can she?
Like Father.. Like Daughter..

Okk.. You handle here Bhaiya and Jiju..
Di.. You relax
And I will look after what my love soon to be Biwi is upto..

Yes.. Two months ago.. Arnav proposed marriage to......

Khushi's father instead of her..

Her father happily agreed but it was his love who was actually sulking.. She wanted a romantic fairy tale proposal but her boyfriend didnt even ask her and went to her dad along with her family to seek his approval for their wedding..

Arnav reached the room where Khushi was getting dressed and as soon as he opened the door.. He was pinned at the wall and the same person grabbed his collar..

He looked at the person firstly horrified and then looking at the person's cute angry face.. Smirked..

Khushi-Don't you dare smirk?

Arnav-Why?
Why shouldn't I?
And stop man handling your husband-to-be

Khushi-Because m not going downstairs for the engagement..

Arnav said tucking her hair strands behind her ear-And why is that so love?

Khushi-Because.. You.. My Boyfriend didnt propose me but my father..

Arnav-Love..

Khushi-Dont love me..

Khushi announced-M going to marry Gillu

Arnav-What? (Imagine his unbelievable saying look)

Khushi-Yes.. I will marry him.. Cook food for him

Arnav-Okk.. I understand but how will he eat?

And Khushi.. What about kids?
How will you have your cricket team of which you dreamt since you were 15

Arnav with a naughty wink-I can help in that you know

Khushi said annoyed and blushing-Shut up..
I don't need your help

Arnav-Fine then..
I should go downstairs and call off the ceremony

Khushi(shocked)-What?
You.. You will..

Arnav said hiding his smile-What else?

Khushi-Okk fine..
M ready to get engaged..
Because you are useless and can't manage without me and its my stupiding to expect something romantic from you Rudie..

And..

For kids.. M marrying you Arnav..
Don't be in illusion that I would marry you because I love you..

I will keep that in my mind Love..
Saying this.. He held her hand for taking her downstairs mentally noting to give her much deserving and awaited fairy tale proposal..

Well.. Few things.. Never changes..
Now Khushi was a mature girl without a doubt but she never fails to surprise her family which includes her boyfriend too by her childish behaviour..
Which secretly everyone adores..

Soon the breathtaking beautiful couple reached the stairs and started descending the stairs earning everyone's attention..
Their father's stopped their all the time bickering and flashed their 1000 watt smiles at their children..

They stood before them and took their blessings together..

Di came and one by one kissed their forehead..

And now it was the time for their engagement ceremony..

They stood next to each other.. They were giving their wide smiles to the family and guests..

The rings were exchanged soon tying them together in their lovely sacred bond forever..

As soon as they exchanged the rings the hall filled with round of applause while their friends and youngsters in family hooted..
Arnav held her now shining with diamond stud ring's hand earning everyone's attention

Arnav-Love.. Today on one of the most important day of our life.. I would like to Thank you..
Thank you for being with me in every thick and thin.. For making my life beautiful with your gorgeous smile.. Your child-like behaviour.. Your maturity..your immaturity..  Everything..
Thank you for making it worthy enough for me
I promise never to let you down
I promise to love you even when your hair turns grey..
I promise to keep you happy by every means..
Thank you for coming into my life..
Thank you for becoming my Love and ultimately my Biwi..

Khushi's eyes were filled with tears and then she hugged him tight while others simply adored them..

I love you too Hubbs..
Khushi said as soon as they broke the hug and Arnav placed a kiss full of love on her forehead..
Their family joined them shortly and then circling the couple they all shared a family hug..

The feeling was pure.. Surreal.. PERFECT ATLEAST FOR THEM AND THEY CARED LESS WHAT OTHER THINKS..

After that much needed talk between them that day.. Three years ago.. Things began to fall at its place again..
Obviously their relationship was not perfect.. But it was blessed.. They were happy and contended..
They understood that relationship doesnt need to be perfect but healthy.. Pure and beautiful.. 
They still used to fight.. Over the silliest things buy it in no way affected their bond..

After that talk.. Their relation grew more and more strong.. Their understanding developed..
Their love grew and then everything was euphoric..

Now.. They started to share their feelings of the moment with each other instead of keeping it within themselves and pondering on it with negativity..

They became the support of each other..
Arnav returned back after two days with a promise to be in regular touch now and return back this time to make HER.. HIS LAWFULLY and he did fulfill it..
As soon as he settled his own business.. He came to ask Khushi's hand for marriage.. By the time.. Di was already married and she and jiju had been a constant support in their relation..

Not only Arnav but Khushi too fulfilled her promise..
She once again started to concentrate on her studies and career and soon enough got a perfect job for her..

Unlike earlier her insecurity was no more.. She became a confident girl shining in her career and making her family proud..
Arnav couldn't be more happy than that.
Their faith on each other was more intact now without any confusion.. Accusations and insecurities..

Once Khushi started her job and Arnav's business flourished..
He didn't make any delay in taking the biggest decision..
He was completely ready now and knew about Khushi's feelings regarding their relationship too..
He boarded the very next flight along his family two months ago to take what is his..
And today.. Here they are.. Finally engaged abd soon to be married.. With the happiness and acceptances of their elders amd warm wishes of their well-wishers..

True it is.. Pure Love conquers all..
Yes.. Their can be problems at certain times but if the couple try genuinely then they surpass it together and their relation grow more and more strong with each passing day..

Luckily Khushi and Arnav were one such couple..
They understood the problem and didnt lay behind to take step for its rectification..
Their communication gap was the villain of their story and they being wise enough eradicated it before it could mess with their relationship..

And today they are here.. Ready to take the much needed next step in their relationship promising each other to love.. Care.. Respect.. Understand and be beside each other at every phase of their life being loyal to their love and the Pious.. Sacred relationship in which they are going to be bound from today till eternity legally.. Rightfully and heartily..
