Summer vacation finally started.

It was night, Nino was throwing a party as a DJ to celebrate. And almost everyone in his class was right there on the dance floor, the sound of the beats making everyone dance.

Almost everyone... You were next to the snack table, next to Alya and Marinette.

You sighed before throwing another snack in your mouth, watching some students dance. You didn't plan to come, but if it was to help Alya make Marinette feel better, you were in.

"Girls, I don't think it's a good idea. I better go home." Marinette says loud enough for you and Alya to hear. Due to the loud sound of the music.

"What? Come on Marinette! We just arrived!" Replied Alya crossing her arms.

"What if he brings the girl he likes with him? I can't pretend I'm having fun... " Marinette sighs sadly, you look at her with compassion.

You remember when you liked Chat Noir and he only talked about how awesome Ladybug was.

What a frustrating time it was for you.

But you were too proud to admit that you were jealous, or to admit to yourself that you liked him more than a friend.

In fact, if HE had not confessed first, you would never, never even say what you felt, for fear of rejection or that things would get weird between the two of you. At this point, you look like Marinette.

Alya sighs in defeat. "Alright, but let's stay until Luka arrives and plays some songs, we can even ask him to come along... Muahaahaha!" Alya laugh like a psycho, you nod by understanding her intentions. Marinette gives Alya a disagreement look.

"It's not every day that a hot dark boy is interested in my shyest friend. I need to give that little push." Alya says with a suggestive look, while Marinette looks away hiding her red face. You smile in amusement.

Until your eyes dart to the entrance and you see Luka, Adrien, Juleka and an Asian girl with short hair that you didn't know, come through the door.

"Who's that Asian girl?" You ask. The girls follow his gaze. Marinette shakes when they wave and start approach.

"Kagami?! Could it be her..." Marinette whispers taking a step behind you.

"Don't jump to conclusions and try to act naturally, Marinette." Alya puts a strong hand on Marinette's shoulder preventing her from running away

As soon as they are in front of you three, everyone greets each other. You particularly just waved, turned your attention to the snack table and silently watched Luka flirt with Marinette and Adrien being literally dragged to the dance floor by Kagami.

If Kagami is not Adrien's crush.

Still at the party ... You were sitting at a table with Marinette, a little tired from dancing so much when Luka and his band started playing.

You danced with Alya and Marinette to try to distract her from Adrien. It clearly wasn't working, you thought as you drank soda as you watched her look out of the corner of her eye, Kagami and Adrien at another table away from you two.

"(Y / n). I think I'm leaving, I'm tired..." She says, forcing a yawn, you hold her wrist preventing her from getting up

"You don't know how to lie Marinette, relax, Adrien doesn't like Kagami." She raised an eyebrow at your confident statement.

"How are you so sure of that?? They have been together since they arrived and-" You interrupt her. "Didn't you notice? He's been trying to get away from her the whole party." You laugh amused, Marinette sighs sadly.

"Okay, even if it's not her. He sure likes another girl! I don't know what I was thinking... I was such an ordinary girl, girlfriend of Adrien Agreste? Impossible! I bet the girl he likes is pretty, rich, smart-" You shake Marinette's shoulders, taking her rambling away.

"What the hell are you saying girl? You're Lady- you're smart, kind, always trying to help friends. You're Marinette! Seriously, I envy your cuteness. You don't have to give up because a clueless boy doesn't see it!Furthermore, there's a super hot guy falling for you!" You think you chose the right words to cheer her up, apart from the part that you almost called her Ladybug...

She smile, but it is a sad smile.

"Thank you (Y / n). You're a very good friend. As much as I'd like to move on, I just can't seem to forget about him, maybe you never felt it, after all Chat Noir loves you back." You blink in surprise as she speaks.

"Now, because before he liked Ladybug." You explain.

"Exactly (Y / n). But Ladybug never love him back. So you had an advantage." Marinette looks at him back out of the corner of her eye. An idea comes to mind.

"THAT'S IT!" Marinette almost jumps in surprise at your scream. "What if the girl he likes doesn't love him back?" You suggest excitedly.

"Tell me a girl who would reject a confession of love by Adrien Agreste." She rests her cheek on her hand.

"I, obviously." You scoff before taking another sip of soda.

"I meant a girl who didn't have a boyfriend." She gets up. "Can you tell the others that I got sick and went home? I can't take that anymore." You get up and nod, giving up, you look again at another table and see Kagami hugging Adrien's arm.

Kagami isn't the type to give up easily...

You say goodbye to Marinette with a hug.

"Go before Alya sees you leaving... Be well, don't let any Akuma catch you." You say serious. She nods and runs to the door leaving.

You sigh and sit down again taking your phone out of your pocket.

I wonder what my Kit Kat is doing now...

Pov's Adrien:

I laugh nervously when Kagami grabs my arm, God please help me...

"I heard out there that you're liking a girl. That's true?" She asked.

"It's true!" I try to step back a little but she tightens my arm, I hold a sigh and look quickly at the table where (Y / n) and Marinette are talking.

How I wish I was there...

"It's Marinette, right?" I blink in surprise and look at her.

"No, she's just a friend. Why do you think that?" I ask.

"Because you've been glancing at her all night." I force a smile with a shake of the head. I was actually looking at (Y / n)... Better Kagami not to know

"It was your imagination." I see Marinette running to the exit and I raise an eyebrow looking back at the table where (Y / n) was alone now, typing on her cell phone.

I feel a vibration in my pants pocket and reach for my cell phone to see a new message of (Y / n). I hold a smile and pretend to sigh.

"It's my father, I better answer." Kagami finally lets go of my arm and I excuse myself running to the men's bathroom.

I put my phone in my pocket and go to the door, I see (Y / n) walking to the front exit. I better get out the back.

Everyone was so excited about the music that they didn't notice me reaching the back door. As I imagined there's no one here at the back of the building.

"If the driver arrives and you are not here, you will be in trouble." Plagg leaves my shirt floating in front of me.

"I'll be back before that. Plagg claws out!"

Pov's Adrien/off:

After you finished your conversation with Chat Noir, you looked around you were all dancing excitedly, if you just left no one would notice.

So you walked to the front door, but before reaching the doorknob you thought it would be best to go out the back so as not to risk someone outside recognizing you and being chased again.

You sighed, putting the hood of your blouse over your face and turned around to the back door.

When you opened the door you raised an eyebrow when you saw Adrien on his back talking to himself or there was someone in front of him and you weren't seeing it.

As soon as you opened your mouth to speak...

"I'll be back before that. Plagg claws out!" He said before his outfit magically transformed into your boyfriend's black uniform.

The words were lost along with the air in your lungs, your heart rate was never so fast, an uncomfortable cold ran through your stomach. You felt dizzy as several flashbacks played out in detail in your mind.

It cannot be... This whole time... I...

Your knees were shaking, you leaned a hand against the wall so as not to lose your balance while the tears filled your eyes as quickly running down your cheeks like waterfalls from a spring.

"Oh no-" Your mind was so clouded trying to process the information that you didn't notice the expression of panic that Chat Noir made when he saw you like this. He ran up to you and wrapped his arms around you in a comforting hug.

"I'm sorry, you weren't supposed to find out right now." He said as he stroked your hair nestling you more against his chest, you couldn't control the amount of tears that ran down your face that wet the uniform in his chest area.

He kept saying words to calm you down but you weren't even listening because you were lost in your own mind.

This whole time I am responsible for all those failed attempts

They loved each other all the time and didn't know. If it weren't for me maybe they'd end up together!

Adrien... this whole time it was you who I hugged, kissed, I almost...

I can't even look at him right now!

You pressed your lips in a straight line to keep them from shaking.

You were feeling so many emotions at the same time, guilt, shame, sadness, pain. But despite everything, you still loved him and that was what made you feel worse.

I'm cheating on my friend... I can't live with this, I cannot!

"(Y / n) please say something... Are you disappointed?" You finally hear his shaky voice speak, you can hear his heart beating as fast as yours.

His arms still hugged you so tightly, little did you know that he was afraid to let you go and lose you forever.

You opened your mouth looking for the right words to say.

"Adrien... It was you all this time, I can't, we cannot see each other anymore..." The words came out as a whisper but he understood it anyway. You put your hands on his chest to try to push him away, but his arms tightened around you, preventing you.

"No, don't say that! Please!" He takes your chin in one hand making you look into his eyes, where the tears insisted on falling too.

"I can make you love me as Adrien too. I am still me! Give me a chance! I-I don't wanna lose you... Please..." He leaned over, leaning his forehead against yours, with his hands on either side of your face, you could see his pleading and desperate eyes.

You felt terrible pain in your chest thinking about how it wouldn't work.

"All this time... I feel horrible to be with the guy that my friend loved long before I moved here. I can't go on with this." Your voice shook as you spoke and saw his eyes widen in fear.

"Breaking up won't make me stop loving you to love her. You need to think about yourself, (Y / n). What do you really want?" He stroked your wet cheek with a thumb and took a look at your lips before returning to your eyes.

"I love you so much (Y / n) and I don't wanna lose you!" He declared breaking the short distance he had between you, brushing his lips lightly against yours. Your heartbeat was so loud that you couldn't hear your own thoughts. As your lips touched a shiver ran through your body, your heart told you to grab it and say that you felt the same way.

But your mind said it was wrong and you were cheating on your friend.

Guilt washed over you, even though your heart said no, you pushed him away, breaking the touch of both lips, increasing the distance between the two of you.

"Sorry Chat- Adrien, I don't feel the same way anymore! Don't look for me again!" You screamed without looking him in the eye, you just turned and ran away. You didn't want to risk looking into his disconsolate green eyes for fear of returning to your choice, which according to your mind was right.

Chat Noir fell to his knees watching you leave with insistent pain in your chest. That was it, his worst nightmare came true. He was lost, what to do now? He just wanted this pain to go away and you to come back.

Am I bound to be heartbroken for every girl I fall in love with?

Why is it so hard this time?

I can't take it.... Come back to me, (Y / n).

Is there a more perfect victim for my Akuma than Chat Noir itself? I see the bomb finally exploded! Fly my little Akuma... Bring that broken heart to evil!

The little butterfly flew and entered the ring of the hurted cat.

Chat Noir didn't even have to be persuaded to give in to evil, after all he had already fell apart.

"She really left me..." He stared blankly at the empty space you were in before leaving.

"That's okay..." He says before his lips curl in a devilish smile.

"I was 'too good a kitty' for her. She wanted a bad kitty, so I will be." He shoots a cataclysm, turning the building ahead to ashes.

Meanwhile in Marinette's bedroom:

Marinette barely lay on her bed and a portal opens right in front of her, leaving the familiar face of Bunnix coming out of the portal.

"Mini bug! Something terrible has happened today that changed the future! Come with me!" Bunnix doesn't have time for Marinette to respond and pulls her into the portal.
