#1: [Mundane Day]
A happy cheerful tune played loudly on Kamino's phone. Kamino himself was in bed, half covered by his golden blanket, the sheets messed and muddled in a twisting way. His left leg kicked over the sheets and his right leg was under, while his arms flung around from their awkward position, one being squished and the other on top of the sheets. He grabbed his blue cased phone on his wooden light brown nightstand next to his bed. The case had a blue diagonal square like design, as he slid the green button to the side, allowing the call to happen.
He rubbed his eye and put the phone on speaker. "Hi..."
"Hey Kami-chan!!" Said a cheerful girl's voice from the phone.
"Kashii-san, what are you doing... calling me at eight in the morning... on a Saturday...." He said bluntly, his body needing support from the wall or else he'd fall down out of pure drowsiness.
"We we're going to defeat that God, remember?" Kashii replied, seeming excited more than usual, as Kamino rubbed his eyelids, trying to wake himself up.
"Fine, I'll be there in a bit. Let's meet at the market of the town." Kamino straightened his back, and his spine clicked roughly, as he let out of a rough yawn and stretched his arms.
"Alright then! Hurry up, I want to get there first so we don't have to queue up."
"Eh? We have to queue up? Are we fighting a Show-off God?"
"What's a Show-off God?"
"A God which uses his shrine as a base to Show-off his skills and challengers can approach him at any given moment... They're show-offy, wanting to present their strength and stuff." He put his phone down on the bed, and walked barefoot to the curtains and opened them, the blinding bright light from the sun entering his eyes and room, causing him to flinch and close his eyes for a bit.
"Ah. Alright, make sure to bring Hirari!" She cheered. "See ya, Kami-chan!"
"Later Kashii-san." Kamino picked up his phone and ended the call, setting the phone down, yawning. "Let's get this done..." He walked back to his bed and put on some flip-flops, dark blue in colour. Kamino then head towards the door and opened it, before moving to the left and entering the bathroom by pulling back it's white wooden door.
The bathroom itself was coated in white tiles, including the floor, which had a white, fluffy, rectangular shaped carpet, but the edges were rounded and smoothed out. On the right, was a white bathtub with silver taps and a shower head hanging on the right. In front of it was a window, and on the windowsill was various bathing items in a medium-sized, plastic, box, which included bottles of shower gels, bath soap, shampoo, conditioner and a purple scrubber made of a soft mesh of sorts. On the left of the windowsill had lots of toothbrushes in cups, a half used bottle of toothpaste, a new bottle of mouthwash, hand gel and a bar of soap in a small teal container which was transparent. A sink was on the right, and that had two silver taps, one hot, one cold. Above it was a mirror which had storage. Inside was a comb, some face cream, and other miscellaneous items. On the right was another mirror hanging up and a rack which had a face towel and hand towel on it. Underneath that was a radiator which was off currently.
Kamino grabbed his cup, which had a dark blue toothbrush with light blue accents in it. He twisted the hot tap's handle and filled the cup with water, swirled it around in it and emptied the cup before refilling it to the brim. He quickly washed the toothbrush's brush head with water and turned the tap off, grabbing his toothpaste and opened the cap. He squeezed a small bit out of the tube, and it left it on the toothbrush. Kamino then looked at the mirror and smiled, before putting the brush against his teeth and started to move it side to side, brushing his teeth near the gums, moving the toothbrush up and down, side to side, etc. It was a quick process, taking two minutes to clean his teeth. When he finished, he used the back of the toothbrush with dark blue bits poking out to scrape his tongue quickly, before spitting out into the sink. He washed the toothbrush and put it onto the windowsill, and emptied the cup. He grabbed the mouthwash and squeezed the bottle to get the needed amount of it, poured it into his cup and then drank it and swished it around his mouth. Kamino then washed the cup and after a minute, he spat out the mouthwash, and then soaked his cream coloured face towel in water, making it more heavy feeling and darker in colour. He twisted the water out of it, and wiped his mouth to get rid of the foamy bits on his face from brushing his teeth, before washing it again, squeezing the water out once more and washing his face.
He didn't feel the need to take a shower in the morning, and thought it was a weird thing to do. Kamino went to the toilets, which was next door to the bathroom and opened the door. It had white tiles on the floor, but the walls were like the bedroom walls, but white. The toilet stood in the back, and a white carpet was in front of it. Kamino pulled down his pants and took a piss in the white toilet, the piss hitting the water making a loud sound. After finishing, he pulled his pants back up and spat into the toilet, and flushed it down. He went back to the bathroom to wash his hands and wiped it off on the hand towels. He headed back into his room and opened his closet, grabbing a fresh set of clothes for the day. He had grabbed himself a long sleeved undershirt and a brown shirt to go on top, and on top of that a ripped jean jacket which was short sleeved. He got black tracksuit pants and started to change, throwing his pyjamas onto his leather chair, before stretching again, yawning. He sat down on the chair and slid on dark grey socks which headed up a quarter of his leg. Kamino grabbed a silver, rectangle shaped pendant on his table and put it around his neck, before smirking. "Now I'm ready."
Kamino walked down the stairs, with a black sword case, golden patterns etched into it, inside a red, soft sword case holder slung on his back, with a black strap, akin to a schoolbag. He went inside the kitchen which had black tiles on the floor, light brown kitchen cabinets with a black counter top on the left, and one next to the entrance stuck to the back, and a kitchen sink in the back, with a cooker next to it. Above the sink was a window which was closed and had cardboard covering the window, so people couldn't see the door of the house. Next to the sink was a metal rack which held clean dishes and at the front held utensils. Back on the counters were a microwave with a purple cloth in front, with bread next to it. On the left there was a bowl of fruit with cereal box next to it, hiding a socket. Above that was cabinets holding jams and stuff.
Then, he grabbed a bowl and walked back to the cereal, and grabbed it. He facepalmed and walked over to the room next to the kitchen, a hallway leading to outside, walls painted green. Doors were on each end, one to the garden and another outside. On the wall sat washing machines and tumble-dryers, and next to it was a silver fridge. He opened the fridge and grabbed milk, before closing it again. Walking back to the bowl, he poured in the milk, then emptied the cornflakes in, putting back the milk and cereal, and got himself a spoon, before starting to eat some.
Kamino smiled and got a cup which was next to the sink, and got a jug of water and poured it inside the cup, and brought both to the living room, where at the end was a table for eating purposes. He pulled back the wooden seat with a white seat, and put down the bowl and cup of water. He started to eat his breakfast, checking out his messages while doing so. After a bit, he finished eating his cereal, and grabbed the bowl and drank the milk.
"Okaa-san, I'm going out to meet Kashii-san!" Kamino shouted up the stairs so his mother could hear him.
"Alright Kamino... Have fun!" She replied in the loudest voice she could muster, still sleepy.
"Thanks!" He shouted back, before grabbing his black boots and getting them on, and tying the shoelaces. He grabbed his phone and texted Kashii that he'd come soon, before opening the white door to his house, and going outside, locking the door. He looked around and looked at the quiet town and street, before walking down the gravel road to go to the markets which were near the town square. His boots made a clacking noise against the path, passing brick houses which looked like his. He eventually hit a bit where he had to cross the road, and seeing how quiet it was he crossed it without a second thought. Kamino continued to walk, yawning. Why so early?
Eventually, Kamino reached the market. The smell of fresh foods was strong, and the number of people around was very high. It was extremely loud as well, with people talking and bustling. Sellers were behind stalls and the floor was made of cobble bricks instead of the gravel. He sighed when he continued to walk to try and find Kashii, soon enough finding her.
Kashii turned around, her long black hair flicking around with her sudden movements, bangs swept to left so her long lashed, hazel brown eyes weren't covered by it. She had pink, thin lips which curled into a smile for seeing Kamino. She had a short pink scarf tied to her neck and wrists, and a black leather jacket with metal stitched into the arms. She had a plain white vest underneath it, and had a black glove on her right hand, with the index and middle fingers having being fingerless. She had a brown back pack on her back, and a black belt as well. Kashii also had a black skirt which went to halfway down her thigh, and had a small slit on her right, and also had dark grey socks which reached to above her knees, and wore black too as her choice of shoes. While she had a certain love for black and looked almost goth like, she was actually quite kind and motherly towards her friends, especially to her close childhood friend, Kamino.
"Hey Kami-chan!" She waved with a grin.
"Hey Kashii-san. Which God are we going after?" He asked her.
"Ever heard of the Shogun God?"
"You mean the "Military Genius"?"
"Yes, that one. You know, the one with the flaming sword too."
"Ah, that Show-off God. Can't wait to slam his head in!!" Kamino announced, growling as he slammed his fists together. "Let's go to his Shrine, now!"
"I'm with you Kami-chan!" Kashii cheered, jumping for joy.
"But the better question is..." Kashii raised a brow at Kamino.
"Yes?"
"...where are we going to find him?!"
