Life works in mysterious ways. I should know, I died once, luckily, I have a cheat.

I just arrived at the hostess and sat near the counter. Nice place, and I can have some food and look at pretty girls! Man, I only need a girlfriend. I might become an adventurer for fun! I don't even need a Falna.

I have a stand! [Wonderful World!] I just need a fashionable outfit. Maybe... I can go dressed in a suit like a Hitman. Heh! I will become the new Yoshkage, just not a serial killer and not a hand fetishist... is that a word? I think it is.

"You're a new one," The owner of the hostess, Mia Grande, former head honcho of the Freya Familia said as she looked at me.

"I just visit Orario from time to time. This is the first time I stayed in here during the night." I said to her while taking my drinks from a waitress.

"Oh? Where do you stay?"

"I live near the Demeter Familia, I let them rent or borrow my newly tamed horses from time to time," I said as I looked at her. "Though, I let them take the one I brought with me with them."

"You do deliveries?"

An image of the window being broken appeared in my mind thanks to Wonderful World and soon enough, after a few seconds, a nearby window was broken into, causing several adventurers and customers

What the hell... Why is this happening?

3rd Person POV

A few moments before the incident happened, the pub was busy. As usual, it was a prey eventful day. One Syr Flova noticed something interesting. A young man, a human, dressed in Bizarre clothes composed of dark pants and boots that reached the middle of his calves with a jacket made of wool that was a size bigger than him with cuffs that fit on his wrists perfectly and it has a hood connected to it. He also wore several belts crossed over his waist with weapons on them, a rapier or a saber on the left side of his waist, and daggers on the right and back of his waist. He seems to be an adventurer.

"Syr, are you alright?" Ryuu asked as she passed by, we have just started our 15-minute break "I am," I replied to my friend as I looked at her. "That person," Ryuu said with a whisper. "He was with lady Demeter earlier."

"He must be a part of her Familia then,"

"No, Lady Demeter told us he is not one of her children."The elf said as she took a drink and sat on a nearby table and chair.

"What is he doing?" Ryuu asked as she noticed Ren shift slightly while covering a plate of his meal with his hand.

Boom! An explosion happened and splinters of wood, glass, etc. erupted from a nearby wall of the Hostess. Dread. Dread and fear filled the hearts of every waitress and staff member of the Hostess as a group of thugs, adventurers came in with smirks on their faces. They must be drunk.

"Hic! Give us all your money and women!" The leader of the group said as everyone became tense and Ryuu. Ryuu looked murderous. Why? Because the group had people dressed in the uniform of Evilus.

"You! The guy with the stupid clothes!" One of the Evilus guys said as he looked at the human sitting by the counter. Ryuu looked as the men tried to approach the human, who was minding his own business and eating pizza, she was about to move when the human stood up and looked at them, the melted cheese of the pizza he ate was connected to the piece he was chewing on.

"?" Ren said nothing as he looked at them and only kept on chewing the pizza in his mouth.

"I'm talking to you!" The man said as he tried to walk only for the leader of the group to suddenly have an arrow erupt from his chest, leaving a hole in his torso as the arrow landed and hit the floor with enough force to bury it until its half.

What just happened?

Mia Grande's rage stilled for a second as she watched a man just get murdered in his restaurant after trying to harass one of her customers.

"Can I please have some waffles?" The voice of said customer said as he turned around to face the gigantic woman. What happened? She just saw one of the guys that entered and damaged her restaurant suddenly got murdered and they all suddenly passed out. What was going on?

Ryuu PoV

Evilus! What are they doing here? I dismantled their operations with my own hands! The damage they did to the hostess was big huge enough that Mama Mia started to lose her cool. Syr! I have to protect her! The customers too!

Wait... that person... Heimdall, a level 5 adventurer and was rumored to be a member of Evilus. He was not there when I dismantled them.

suddenly, an arrow erupted from Heimdall's chest. How?! What just happened? I blinked and before I knew it, the other members of Evilus suddenly passed out as the human turned around and looked at Mama Mia.

"Can I please have some waffles?" The voice of the human echoed in the silent establishment as if he did not just see someone die in front of him. Whoever this human is... he must have a very powerful protector and he must be someone influential enough to do so. But how did the others pass out and why does it smell a bit like rusted iron?

Ren PoV

Well, that was over and I needed to have something else to eat. Why? My pasta was wrecked as a random shrapnel managed to destroy the plate. Waffles are good. Waffles are life!

Food comes first along with other necessities!

Evilus huh? Give me a break, I just want a new quiet life! Besides... I'll leave the tracking to you,

Hidden in the shadows, a small lizard the size of a nail opened its eyes as it stood on two legs with short clawed arms. It opened its mouth as its feathers hid it better in the cover of darkness.
