ISABELLA'S POV

The moment I returned with Phineas to his apartment, I received a text message from my mother.

Isabella, dear, how are you? Buford told me you two broke up. Is it because of that  Phineas kid again? Boy, I still remember all those times you talked to me about him. Phineas blah blah Phineas here, Phineas there, always Phineas. Also, Linda and I went shopping yesterday. I was truly surprised when I saw her. Anyway, I have exciting news for you!

Our family trip to Long Island is moved to tomorrow instead of a week from now!

Your aunt and I are preparing your things for you. Here are the things we packed.

*Clothes and Accessories

- Your favorite pink sweater
- A pink flower headband
- Your newest necklace
- Denim jeans

*Others
- Your old diary
- Family pictures
- Photos of you and your friends eight years ago

I put my phone in my pocket and walked towards Phineas.

PHINEAS' POV

Isabella had a worried look on her face when she approached me.

"Phineas, I'm leaving for Long Island tomorrow. My mom told me so." she said.

I was shocked. I didn't know what to do, so I hugged her.

"I understand. I can wait for you. Three weeks isn't eight years."

Isabella pulled away from the hug, and she kissed me on the cheek.

She then hugged me one last time before standing up and leaving for her mom's house.

I then flopped on my bed, and grabbed my old notebook. I started flipping through the pages of it, and I found old sketches and notes, listed below.

- The rollercoaster

- The backyard beach

- The lyrics to Gitchee Gitchee Goo

- Our mom's modified car (which we used to race)

- The script for the movie Ferb and I made

- The thumb wrestling arena

- Candace's face carved on Mount Rushmore

- And many, many more

I then closed my notebook and put it in my backpack. I grabbed paper from my drawer and began to write.

BUFORD'S POV

"Hey, Buff Boy!" Lia shouted. "Yeah, Grub Girl?" I replied. The nickname I gave her was because I saw her eat grubs before. She calls me Buff Boy because, well, I'm buff.

"How's your day going?"

"Fine. Wanna watch a movie?"

"Sure thing."

I last saw her after she and Phineas broke up. We started talking to each other a lot. It turns out we have a lot in common. She likes gum, I like gum. She and I even watch the same TV shows. That was when I realized that I should ask her out. Our first date went off like this:

- First, I planned everything, from the venue to the time we're supposed to arrive.

- Then, I called her on the phone.

- Next, I picked her up from her home, and we went to the diner.

- Then, we ate and talked together.

- Suddenly, I felt the impulse to kiss her.

- Lia kissed back.

- Everything went well.
