Spider-Man's P.O.V.

I woke up with Sam lying next to me, my head buried in his chest. I smile as he wrapped his arms around my thin body, tangling his hand in my hair.

"Morning Sam," I said, hugging me.

"Morning beautiful," He said, making me blush a deep red color.

It had been two weeks since we've been dating and I loved every single minute of it.

I peck him on the lips and went to go and get my body stalking on, preparing myself for some back breaking injuries.

Once I get into my costume, look over to him. He looks lost in thought. I frown and walk over, wrapping my arms around his waist.

"Hey Sammy, what's wrong?" I ask him, kissing his neck afterwards.

"I haven't taken you out on a date and yet we've been dating for at least two weeks," he muttered, turning around and hugging me. I rubbed his back.

"You don't have to take me out on a date just to show me you love me. I already know that, Sammy," I said, kissing his cheek.

"But I want to, bae," he said, sounding like a two year old. Don't give in so easily. The strict part of me insisted.

I sigh and then I smile. "Alright, if you want to," I told him, breaking my promise to myself almost five seconds after I made it.

Sam almost squealed when I said that. Wait! Sam NEVER squeals!

"Yo, web head..." a voice said, making both me and Sam spin around to face the door. There stood Luke and Danny standing in the door way, looking at us.

I take a look at the clock. I cursed when I saw the time. 5:30 am.

"We're going to be late for patrol," I told them frantically.

"Go wake Ava," I instructed then paused for a second. "Wait, why isn't Ava up by now. She's usually the first one up."

"Lately, I haven't seen Ava act like herself. When I ask her what's wrong, she just growls at me," Danny said, looking at Luke, then back at me.

"What exactly happen when you two fought?" Luke said.

"I told her that she had to fight the goblin inside of her before she hurt her friends. She said she couldn't care less if she if she hurt someone. Then she said I was way over my webs to try and fight her," I explained. Danny and Luke had expression of annoyance, while Sam looked down right angry.

"She actually said she didn't care less if she hurt someone?" Sam fumed. I could tell he was going to start ranting.

"Sam," I started, but he didn't hear me.

"Then she says you're way over your webs to try and fight her. Ha! She was in way over her claws to try and fight you! I oughta-" Sam ranted, but he didn't get to say the last part due to me kissing him.

I pulled away seconds later and smiled.

"I didn't think it was possible, but you found a way to shut Nova up," Luke congratulated me.

Sam glared at him. Ava stormed in while I was kissing Sam. She glared at him.

"Are we done with the PDA, or do I have to drag you by the ear to training?" she threatened. She looked at me and her expression seem to soften.

"Let's go before we wake aunt May. The last thing we need is for her to find out we are superheros and work for S.H.I.E.L.D." I said, placing my hand into Sam's and walking downstairs and out the door with him and the team right behind me.

I stopped, waiting for the rest of the team to catch up. I looked behind me, frowning when I saw Ava trailing behind.

"What's wrong, baby?" Sam whispered in my ear.

"I'm starting to think Ava hates you," I told him.

"What gave you that idea?" Sam asked sarcastically. "Was it the way she glared at me after you kissed me or the cold, annoyed face she gives me every time when I take your hand?"

"I noticed both, Sam. I've talked to her, but she won't tell me anything," I said frowning.

"Maybe it's just a mood swing caused by her tiger amulet," Sam said. I look at him, surprised.

"What?" he asked.

'That's the smartest thing you've said all week," I noted.

"I can be smart ya know," he said sounding offended.

"Yes, I know. You just don't show it often enough," I said, nodding to the rest of the team, telling them to go ahead. Danny took Luke's hand and raced away.

Ava glared at Sam before sending a smile in my direction. Soon, she sped away too, leaving me and Sam alone, exactly what I wanted.

Sam's hand snaked their way around my waist. He nudged my ear, whispering into it.

"Maybe I should show it more often for you," Sam said, making me shiver a bit.

"Let's get going, the others already started with patrol," I said to him. I turned around to face Sam just as he lifted off.

As soon as we were in the air for about five minutes, my spidey sense went off.

"Venom," I told Sam. He looked down at the street, noticing my black look alike.

"Hey look, it's you evil twin!" Sam joked, making me chuckle.

Venom hissed, finally noticing us. He jumped up the building wall as Sam set me down.

Hopefully, the others have better luck than me and Sam, I thought as I shot a web at the black goo.

I hope we take Venom down before school starts.

Okay! This chapter is a bit lengthly! You my think I'm a big liar now that I said they were short chapters, but I'm not. This one just turned out a bit lenghtly, I hope you don't mind.
