(Both smiled and left. But when they left, smile vanished from their faces, they weren't feeling happy and contented. Manik and Nandini were walking with heavy steps like their foot does not wanted to move. Both were sad, tears rolled down from Nandini's eyes and Manik's eyes were too filled with the same. Manik wiped  his tears and looked towards them.)

Manik (to himself) ," I wanted to say her this only and i did that, mujhe laga tha after saying her this i will feel light at heart but then why these tears are flowing from my eyes, did i actually wanted this or not....! Whatever i did was it right or not??"

(He reached in his room, and Nandini near her bed both lied down, but were unable to sleep they both were twisting and turning sides. but in no time felt asleep.)

NEXT MORNING

(Manik woke up early, and came down for breakfast running after getting ready, he came down rushing. Mukesh Kaka was preparing food in the kitchen and there was no one on the dining table. Manik became restless and rushed out to see whether Nandini left for college or not. But all cars were there, he went inside to Mukesh.)

Mukesh," Arey baba aj ap itni jaldi uth gaye??"

Manik," Hmm, Nandini kahan hain? College gayi kya??"

Mukesh," Nahi baba, Vo toh neeche nahi ayi abhi tak!!"

Manik," Kya?? Neecha nahi ayi, vo toh bohot jaldi uth jati hai!!"

Mukesh," Pata nahi baba, ap kaho toh main dekh kar aun??"

Manik," Haan theek hai dekh ao!!"

Mukesh Kaka," Theek hai baba!!"

(Mukesh begin going to her room, he was on stairs, Manik stopped.)

Manik," Arey, ruko!!"

Mukesh," Ji, kya hua??"

Manik," Tum rehne do main khud hi jakar dekh leta hoon!!"

Mukesh Kaka," Theek hai"

(Mukesh kaka came down and continued his work of preparing breakfast. Manik went to Nandini's room and opened the door, peeped inside and went inside. There was no one inside.)

Manik," Nandini, Nandini!!"

(He called her name twice, but no response. He came inside and sat on the bed backfacing bathroom door. Door of bathroom opened, Nandini came out, both Manik was unaware of it, Nandini came out with towel in her hand and was wiping her face, she saw Manik.)

Nandini ( to herself),"  He can't be real for sure, he can't wake up so early!!"

(Nandini again begin wiping her face, but still she was able to see Manik. She slowly went near to him and whispered in his ears.)

Nandini," Are you real??"

(Manik got shocked to see Nandini and turns back, gets up from the bed.)

Manik," No, i'm not real, i'm ghost of Manik Malhotra!!"

Nandini," Tum yahan kya kar rahe ho??"

Manik," Just came to say you hi!!"

Nandini," What?? Manik kuch bhi tum aise hi nahi atey ho you know that so just say it!!"

(Nandini after wiping her face keeps the towel in her hands but in front of her thighs covered by her kurta till knee. Manik while saying put his hand in his pocket to pick up his ringing phone.)

Manik," Vo tum neeche nahi thi na toh...."

(He took out his phone from pocket but it accidentally fell on the floor over carpet, he bend down while speaking and stopped speaking when he looked towards her bare legs till knees and he realized that she forgot to wear her churidar (leggings), he unbends.)

Nandini," What say na!!"

Manik," Nandini, see we will talk later tum pehle, go inside bathroom!!"

Nandini," No why talk later, say it now, main kahin nahi ja rahi hoon jab tak you won't say!!" 

Manik," Listen Nandini stop being stubborn, just go trust me you need to rush, else you will regret later!!"

Nandini," No, i won't regret say!!"

(Manik came close to her, holds her from her upper arm and pushes her behind towards bathroom. Nandini gets irked and shouts.)

Nandini," Manik, yeh kya kar rahe ho tum are you mad??"

Manik," Tumhe wapis andar bhej raha hoon kyunki you forgot to wear you legging!!"

Nandini," Arey...what...."

(Nandini realized what Manik said and she looked at her legs and rushed back to the bathroom and hid behind the door and Manik smirked.)

Manik," I told you, you will regret, see!!"

Nandini," Manik tum bahar jao!!"

Manik," Why you wanted to talk na so let's talk abhi!!"

Nandini," Manik mujhe tumse koi bat nahi karni tum bahar jao main neeche ati hoon, bye"

(Saying this she shut the door. Manik leaves the place and went downwards and sat on the breakfast table. Soon, Nandini arrives.)

Manik," Good morning, Nandini how are you? Oh your dress is looking beautiful and complete by the way!!"

(Manik smiled, Nandini gave him a fake smile and sit on the chair. Both have breakfast and leave for college together, attend classes and came back together in the afternoon. Nandini was sitting in her room and was studying, and Manik knocked the door, peeped in and came inside, Nandini smiled at his this act. He came inside.)

Manik," Why are you smiling?"

Nandini," Nothing, its just sweet."

Manik," What's sweet??" 

Nandini(said while playing with the pen and wearing a smile on her lips)," The way you peeped in and entered the door, that, because of morning incident you did that na?"

Manik," Oh, they are called manners madam, main hamesha aise hi ata hoon unlike you came out without seeing around."

Nandini(smile vanished)," Whatever!! Tum yahan kyun aye ho??"

Manik," Vo i was getting bored, so..."

Nandini (interrupted)," So do i look  a toy to you??"

Manik," What?? Hello! I was going out so i came here to ask you, if you want to join! but forget even i asked, i'm leaving bye!!"

(Manik was leaving but Nandini came in front of him, between him and door.)

Nandini," Wait wait, tum aise kaise ja sakte ho??"

Manik (pushes her aside)," Aise kaise matlab aise hi ja sakta hoon!! Watch me going!!"

(Nandini hold Manik's hand from behind to stop.)

Nandini,"Manik, mujhe bhi jana hai na, tum mujhe lene aye the and ab mujhe liye bina ja rahe ho??"

Manik," Haan, lene aya tha but ab mera mood change ho gaya hai, so bye!!"

(Manik left and Nandini stood behind, she also wanted to go out but not along. So she just rushed and anyhow managed to sit in Manik's car before he can enter it, although he knew it and came late intentionally but acted as if he didn't knew it.)

Manik," Tum, tum yahan kya kar rahi ho??"

Nandini," Bethi hoon!!"

Manik," What a brilliant answer na, listen get out of the car!!"

Nandini," No, i won't!!"

Manik," Listen, don't irritate me just get out!!"

Nandini," I said na no!!"

Manik," Tum nahi bahar aogi, are you sure??"

Nandini," Yes!!"

Manik," Fine toh main hi bahar chala jata hoon, why don't you drive the car?"

Nandini," Manik you know mujhe car drive karni nahi ati!!"

Manik," How will i know?"

Nandini," Remember, when we were coming back from hospital and ate icecream, remember that day ya bhool gaye, but still if you want me to drive toh i can, ek aur accident karwa lete hain tum ho hi hospital le jane ko!!"

(Manik just looked at Nandini who was looking on the other side. He didn't say a word and just drove the car. He rolled his eyes to other side, smirked and smiled unnoticed by Nandini. They went for a movie, ate at a restaurant and were now sitting on the side of beach with icecream, cherishing the cold breeze and the noise created by its waves which were sprinkling small quantity of water on them.)

Nandini," Its so peaceful here na??"

(Nandini said with a slight smile on her face. Manik was looking at beach, after listening to her voice, he turned towards her and smiled seeing her smiling.)

Manik," Yes!!"

Nandini," Poori mumbai city mein itna shor hota hai, this is the place where we can come and relax a bit, this is the most beautiful place here, so peaceful so relaxing."

(Manik was about to say something, but suddenly his phone ranged.)

(So, a heartbreak, i hope, it might be a mini heart break, but Manik chose it right but still he is not happy with his own decision! Nandini is having a good quality of being positive and understanding everything, let's see where does this thing take these friends to.... !!)
