(Nandini was just about to leave, but he stopped her.)

Manik," Nandini listen wait, i need to tell you something!!"

Nandini (turned)," haan bolo!!"

(Manik took baby steps towards the door where nandini was standing, remove Nandini's hand politely from the door, hold the handle in his hand and shuts the door lightly.)

Nandini," Manik, what happened?? Why are you shutting the door??"

(Manik shook his head slightly held Nandini's hand, pulled her inside and make her sit on the bed.)

Manik," Nandini i need to talk.... infact i need to clear something right now only!!"

Nandini," Manik, tum aise kyu bol rahe ho,jo bolna hai, say it clearly na please!"

(Manik entwined his hand with Nandini's hand, she looked at his hand and then in his eyes but he was looking at their hands.)

Manik," Nandini, vo actually i don't want you to stay with false hope isliye i thought to clear it right now isiliye maine abhi vo sab, vo Mukti ka name use karke tumse yeh pata karwaya that whether you feel something or not and now when i know that i was right i think its the right infact the best time to say it, but along with that i don't want this to spoil our friendship too"

Nandini (with a frown on her face)," Manik, please don't create this kind of suspense and say it clearly!!"

Manik," Nandini, i just want to say that i am not ready for a... a relation right now!!"

(The frown from Nandini's face removed, Manik left her hand and stood up, Nandini was still sitting, but she didn't utter a single word.)

Manik," Now as in i myself don't know when i will be ready for it or kabhi main ready ho bhi paunga ya nahi neither i know what i want, its just that I'm too messed up!!. Whatever happened during my engagement, Alisha left and whatever she did with me, i don't know but i can't believe that any relation can be trustworthy enough to last forever. And i wanted you to not have any false hope about it."

(Listening to this, tear rolled from eyes of Nandini, she was looking at Manik continuously, Manik was about to turn and just before that she wiped her tears out. Manik came forward towards her.)

Manik," Nandini, i hope you are not getting me wrong, i just want you to be happy and because of it i did that, i am sorry if i hurt you but it wasn't intentional! I hope you understand it, and all that happened in college and a moment before when we came close, it it was by mistake.!!"

(Nandini still didn't utter a word, she was standing expressionless and Nandini's silence was hurting Manik very much, he went close to her hold her with from her upper arm and she protested but unable to free herself . She was giving painful expression and so did Manik's expressions were changing according to her expressions as she wasn't answering.)

Manik," Nandini please don't be silent, i am already feeling very bad because of what i did to you but please just understand what i want to say! Atleast don't be silent, speak up please, kuch bhi boldo i know how it feels when your heart break, when you don't get your first love.... mujhse acha yeh kaun samajh sakta hai..."

(He left Nandini, but both were standing at the same place, Nandini didn't knew what she should speak, her throat was heavy with pain and tears that she was hiding. She wanted to cry her heart out but she didn't. She knew about this from very beginning that when Alisha will leave Manik, he will be shattered and won't be able to have that faith on love again, hence she wanted her feelings for Manik to be buried deep inside her heart, but it was Manik who played trick and whatever she was hiding, is not a secret anymore. She was hurt and she don't know what to do or say now. Manik continued.)

Manik," The moment Alisha left me i was spellbounded, i couldn't believe that my first love the person whom i trusted a lot, she did this to me and that to because of his brother she did that to me, me!! But that's fine now it doesn't hurt that much now but at that time i thought i won't be able to cope up with it but you know it was you and your friendship which made me feel that everything can be normal and i don't wan't to spoil it and lose you! But love, i don't feel like i can do not have anything left inside my heart to love all over again, i'm afraid Nandini."

(Nandini was still silent and was rubbing and fidgeting palms and her fingers together, Manik got irritated and separated her hands, Nandini looked at him in shock. She was going through lots of emotions, all at once.)

Manik," Kuch toh bolo??"

(Nandini gave him a calm and composed look.)

Nandini," Kya bolun, ok!!"

Manik," Ok?? Itna kuch bola maine and you are saying just, ok??"

Nandini(smiled a little)," Haan, okay!!"

Manik (in irritation and anger)," Fine, okay!!"

(He jerked her hands and begin to go out, but Nandini decides to keep whatever was going inside her and speak up seeing him going like this.)

Nandini," Manik, what you said now i knew it already and I understand everything, so you need not to feel guilty about anything, okay??"

(Manik turned when she called his name and the words she said with a soothing smile made him feel a bit relaxed and he stopped.)

Manik," So you are not feeling bad as in all that i.... i did, you are not angry??"

Nandini," Manik, isme bura feel karne ki ya gussa hone ke liye kuch hai hi nahi because all that you are feeling and telling to me now, i knew it already when Alisha was here, infact we all knew it, and tried to reveal it before time but i think the things were already planned and everything happened differently!! &I'm glad that you shared it with me!!"
(She said the last line with a smile on her face!)

Manik," Tumko yeh sab pehle se pata tha aur we all means, and how did you all knew it??"

Nandini," We all means, just Mukti, me, Cabir and Navya and i just overheard Alisha's conversation once, that's how we got to know it!!"

Manik," Aur tum sabne mujhe bataya bhi nahi, Mukti ne bhi nahi bataya!!"

Nandini," Manik because, we didn't have proofs and all the efforts we did, some way or the other they got ruined and wasted. But destiny has its own plans na, see everything itself find a way to come out and sab sort out ho gaya!!"

Manik," Ya, it sorted out, itself, somehow!!" (Manik said taking breaks.)

Nandini," Acha Manik i am tired can i please sleep now aur you also go and get some sleep, kal college bhi jana hai na!!"

Manik," Haan okay!!, main jata hoon!! bye good night!!"

Nandini (with smile)," Good night!!"

(Manik went out, Nandini was about to shut the door, but he suddenly came back.)

Manik," Arrey haan, Nandini listen!!"

Nandini," Haan say!!"

Manik," Tomorrow, we will go college together, okay!!"

Nandini," Manik yeh toh tum mujhe kal breakfast pe bhi bata sakte the na, so why now??"

Manik," Because madam, tumko maine pehle bhi bola tha but you didn't waited and tum college akele agayi thi!!"

Nandini," Manik, don't worry aisa wapis nahi hoga, don't worry!!"

Manik," Promise??"

Nandini," Nandini promise."

(She said it with a smile, and Manik too smiled and left.)

(What just Manik did was unbelievable for me, but was it unbelievable for you guys too or not, Was it justified what he said or he should have said it in some other way? Also, Nandini was sad with the trick that Manik used to accept that she feels for him and after was heartbroken too when Manik said that he is not ready for being in a relation again!!
