The next morning, it was sunday and Nandini came down yawning with back side of her hand on her mouth and sit on the couch with her head headed upwards towards the ceiling, legs on table n eyes closed as if she was still in partial sleep and after few moments she freshened up and said mahesh kaka(servant) to bring filter coffee for her. Till the time mukti also came down the stairs tapping her foot on the stairs loudly and her eyes closed and said, "Good morning nans!!" To which nandini didnt replied first as if she was still in sleep and then mukti came close to her and shouted in her ears loudly,"Good Morning Nandiniiiii!!!!" & nandini woke up with a sudden shiver n shouted yar mukti kya hai dikhta nahi kya so ri hu pagal hai kya ruk tujhe abhi batati hoon and they started running back n forth in whole house. After some time, they both sat on couch with their high breaths(due to running).
After 1 hour-
Nandini was drinking coffee n mukti was reading newspaper soon a sound of a horn of car came as if it entered their house n both nandini n mukti looked at each other ke koi aya hai but none of them moved for seeing out!! (Lazy lads!!)
Soon the front sliding door made of mirror shifted and the sunlight was covered by two people ( a boy n a girl).
Nandini wasn't able to see who was coming due to sunlight and asked,"who's there?"
To which the reply of boy came,"who are you to ask?" and Nandini got shocked meanwhile Mukti got up and rushed towards the boy shouting" Bhaaaiiiii!!!" and hugged him tightly.
After breaking the hug, she asked" where were you n mom ne kaha tha ap jaldi ajaoge aj 2 weeks hue hai humein yahan akar and ap abhi arahe ho??" Manik replied,"Arey Mukti meri flight already booked thi last week ki but last moment pe ek urgent meeting a gayi thi toh islie time lag gaya yar kam jyada tha!!" And he further added, arey Mukti tu alisha se toh mil
keeping hus hand on (alisha's) waist." Mukti said hi to her and just gave a side hug.

Alisha
Nandini stood up and was going towards her room meanwhile maniks voice stopped her," ruko!, tum hi thi na vo jo puch rahi thi abhi thode der pehle je who's there, haan?"
Nandini (standing with her back faced towards manik) first got frightened and her hands were trembling! but then she decided to show confidence as if she wasn't afraid of anything and said, yeah it was me! So?? If someone would enter my house, isn't it my duty to ask who's there? Koi chor vor hota toh!
To this special gesture of nandini manik moved two steps further with his index finger towards nandini and said,"You... what? What did you say, main chor!! How dare u?.." suddenly mukti stopped him,"Bhai relax vo nandini hai apne sath hi rehti hai apne ghar pe shuru se okay so chill and Nandini yeh bhai hai, Manik.. Remember hum kal bat kar rahe the jinke bare mein and Manik was like, " kya mere bare mein batein, what? Kya batein n vo bhi iske sath, huhh! Who doesn't even know who i am! To which nandini in anger murmured, as if you are a prime minister Mr. Malhotra!! and left the place and went towards her room!
And manik was still angry, and said" kya hai yeh ladki, kon hai yeh, and how dared she to talk to me like that meanwhile Alisha kept her hand on Manik's shoulder and said, "comeon now baby don't spoil your mood and lets freshenup okay!! To which Manik raised his one eyebrow and distracted himselft from thought of Nandini and move towards his room and mukti asked, " ap mere liye kya gift lekar aye ??"
Manik said, "arey haan baba ghar m toh ghusne de gift bhi laya hoon sabke liye!!"
And all three ( Mukti, Manik and Alisha) went inside manik's room and Mukti said, aa... Alisha tumhara room bhi set karwa dia hai vo dekho vo kitchen ke pas hai so go ahead and fresh ho jao lunch pe milte hai!! And alisha said, "what manik?? Hum seperate room mein rahenge, America m toh we were to... Manik stopped her in between,"Alisha yeh America nahi hai go and get ready! and she went with a long sigh," huhh.. whatever!!
(As she goes) Mukti said, bhai ap or yeh America mein sath room share krte the seriously!! Manik said,"arey chup kar yar aisa kych ni hai vo bs we stayed alone there and yaha tum sab ho islie bs vo aise..... Mukti
stopped him in between and said haan haan rehne do rehne do apne bahane and chalo mujhko mere gifts dikhao!!" They both went and begin shuffling gifts and Manik said arey le ja yeh poora bag tere gufts ka hi hai and Mukti surprising said, what wow bhai, i love you!!! (Giving him a flying kiss) And it was all filled with sports shoes, toppers and jeans along with Chocolates, shorts and all that stuff at last she saw a big package packed and asked," Bhai yeh kya hai?"
Manik said," Arey yeh vo hai na Nandini uske lie hai (he said that making a wierd face in anger )
Mukti said, waah bhai uskse lie bhi le aye kya bat hai bada khayal hai uska!!. Manik got irritated and said, "what??khayal or vo bhi main.... on top of that uska..... no way.... vo bas mujhko mom ne call karke kaha tha ke nandini k lie gift lekr ajana kuch acha sa so i bought thus designer lehenga for her so tum le jao and usko de dena and plz ab jao yar m tired mjko sona hai so let me sleep....
aand mukti was lile what jao, itna heavy bag main lekr jaungi pehle yeh bag mere room mein rakh ke ao phir sona... Manik got irritated and said arey yaar, chal meri ma!!
(Mukti's room)
Manik pushed the door but it didn't opened and he said, what the hell, yeh kya hai? To which Mukti said, "arey vo Nans ne band kar rakha hoga! Manik said, "what vo tere room me rehti hai??" And mukti(knocking door) said," Haan bhai hum shuru se hi sath rehte hain. She knocked door and said, "Nandini open the door yar lock kyu kiya hai?"
Nandini opened the door and seeing manik she said, "tum!!"..
Mukti came in between and said nahi mai mujhe andar bhi nahi ane degi kya ab and she said to Manik, "thanx bhai jao ap so jao lunch pe milte hai"
(When Manil was going), Nandini murmered within herself "Do monters sleep also" to which Mukti listened and she saw her with a frightened face and Manik said(with side smile)," Haan, Nandu iss monster ko neend bhi ati hai, good night!!" And went closing his button of coats!!
Both went into the room and Mukti said(giving a packet to her)"le yeh bhai tere liye laye hai!!"🎁
Nandini said,"what vo monster mere liye kuch layega kabhi jarur mom ne hi kaha hoga usko lane ke liye and Mukti just said hmm....
Nandini (openeing the packet) and exclaimed OMG!!! Its a designer lehenga wow, vohi jo mujhko chahiye tha its so pretty yaar i just loved ut, Manik ki choice achi hai yar... and Mukti said, yes bhai chooses the best always..... !! "Chal ab pehen ke dikha

" Mukti added. And this was how Nandini looked.

AT LUNCH
Everyone(Manik, Nandini,Mukti & Alisha) were having lunch. It was all silent and Mukti breaking the silence spoke,"so Alisha our conversation left unfinished in between, what werw you saying near bhai's room, vo America mein tum aur bhai ek saath.. kya tha vo? Btao na?( spoke winking her eye towards Nandini and seeing at Manik as if she was making fun of him with intentions to know all the secrets of him)
(Alisha was frank she doesn't felt any need to hide anything so begin speaking)," Vo actually, me and Manik.... but Manik said(scratching his forehead) interrupting the conversation, "Mukti dinner is very tasty, who cooked the food & especially this Paneer?"
(As soon as Manik said paneer Nandini saw towards him and begin active in the conversation going on table.
To which Mukti replied ( laughing), "Bhai its not dinner its lunch first of all and food sara Mahesh kaka ne banaya hai but the paneer is specially cooked by Nans as she loved cooking, so.. yeah..."
Manik said, "oh Paneer nahi i was talking about this Kofta it is very tasty, I thought ye paneer pe by mistake point out kar dia maine vo toh average hi hai..." Nandini felt wierd and murmered, as if i care huhhh!!!!!
And Mukti said, Bhai chalo na kahi bahar ghoomne chalte hain hum yaha kabhi ghoome hi nahi abhi evening m chalenge okay ready rehna and dinner b bahar hi kar lenge."
Manik was about to deny but Mukti didn't gave him a chance and told to Nandini (pulling her hand)," comeon Nandini lets make a list we are going for shopping today n bills are on Bhai so chalo issey pehle ki vo mana kar de." She pulled her by her hand and took her towards their room.
Alisha soon got a call and she went away from table to pick that call. Manik also went to make some calls related to business meetings.

At 5 o' clock
Manik, Mukti and Nandini all were ready and sitting on couch waiting for Alisha to come.
Muki said," Bhai yeh US mein jyada slow motion ka rivaaz hai kya?"
Manik," no... why, aisa kyu bol rahi ho?"
Mukti," arey apki gf 3 bje se chalne ki koshish kar rahi hai par abhi tak neeche nahi pahunchi!!."
Manik said,"ohh... Wow Mukti what a pathetic joke!! Kahan se seekha?"

Writer's POV- (Mukti was about to speak meanwhile Alisha came down creating a loud tapping noise which attracted everyone's attention.)

Alisha ( to manik) - Baby!!! I'm back, sorry to keep you waiting for so long.!!

(Nandini and Mukti laughed limiting it to each other leaving Manik in embarrassing situation).
Manik (clearing his throat and moving his eyes here and there in anger with his top surface of index finger touching his nose)

Manik said," Comeon lets go she's here!!"
Mukti and Nandini got up and all four headed towards car.
They all went firstly to the shopping mall and visited several stores and purchased a lot of stuff like chocolates, icecreams, juices and shoes, slippers, etc. Alisha purchased few branded crop tops and one pieces.
Manik purchased a watch and a pair of shoes for himself. After paying off the bill manik said Mukti, you guys just go and sit in the car and ill just come okay. Alisha chalo tum mere sath, and he took hher little bit far away and said, Alisha please yar don't call me baby and such kind of stuff atleast in front of them it doesn't look nice they make fun of you, it's not America, do you get that!!.
(Alisha nodded head saying ok fine and both went to the car.)
(It was 7 o'clock)
(Writer's POV)
Manik drove the car and they all went towards the disco, Nandini didn't felt comfortable there and told Mukti that she want to go from here to which Mukti said, arey we just came here tu chal na lets dance together(pulling Nandini even she didn't wanted to dance) Manik and Alisha, Mukti and Nandini danced together, after that all headed towards the drinks counter and all 3 except nandini ordered for Vodka and Mukti knowing Nandini very well ordered for a Mocktail, Nandini (standing near manik) as soon as started drinking it she felt like puking and ran saying excuse me towards the washroom and Mukti ran behind her to check whether she is fine or not. After some time, both came out , mukti was asking about her well being).
Manik asked,(bending little bit below looking towards her eyes and his one hand on her shoulder)" Are you fine nandini?"
Nandini nodded her head instead of yes and said,"I want to go to home, manik please take me home!"
Manik said,"okay fine let's go but if you want to go to doctor then we can go."
Nandini denied & said," I am fine, i just want to go home."

Writer's POV, " Manik drove car towards home, Nandini was sitting in front seat near Manik as she want to sit near A/C and keep on drinking water continuously and was breathing fastly and Manik was continuously checking her because he was worried and feeling guilty because he didn't took her home when she asked for. Mukti too was guilty for this and apologised to Nandini to which Nandini said," Its okay Mukti its not your fault don't feel guilty."
Writer's POV -
(All reached home and Manik as gentle man rushed out and opened door for Nandini, it was first time Nandini has seen this side of him.)
Nandini came out and as she stepped out of car she fainted and Manik(shouting in little low volume,"Nandini") was standing just nearby her, holded and picked unconscious Nandini and told Mukti to call doctor asap...
Doctor came and tested her and asked," Did she eat or drink anything strange."
To which Manik replied, yes she just drank a mocktail in disco."
Doctor said, not to worry i have given her injection she will be fine after some time." Mukti said," Bhai ap jao main rukti hoon yaha and doctor ko chod ao bahar tak."
(Manik nodded head as yes and went outside. Nandini woke up and said when Mukti asked about her well being, she said that she was fine."
At 9 o'clock all gathered for dinner and Manik and Alisha also asked about Nandini's health to which she said she's feeling better now."
After having dinner Nandini went on terrace to spend some time in isolation and sat on the swing seeing upwards."
She felt relaxed and after sometime went down in her room and fall asleep."
Manik brought icecream for him, Mukti and Nandini but saw Nandini sleeping and Mukti invited him to come inside, Manik asked," is she fine now?, vo actually i thought icecream se shayad Nandini ko better feel ho toh main laya tha but she's sleeping toh apan kha lete hain."
(Writers POV)
They finished icecream when Nandini was sleeping and Manik went back to his room and told Mukti to get ready at 7:45 am as they all have to go to college tomorrow and left after giving a goodnight kiss to Mukti on her forehead and everyone fall asleep."
