(Nandini removes her hand, her eyes were filled with tears, rolling down to the cheeks. Manik went out of the car to the truck driver , whose truck collided with his car.)

Manik," Tumko dikhayi nahi deta hai, don't you see the car standing behind & horn blow ho raha tha still you didnt stopped??"

Driver," Sorry sahab, balance bana nahi isliye ye ho gaya!?"

(Manik was hell angry, but seeing Nandini's weak condition decided to end the fight & moves back into the car.)

Manik," Nandini, tum theek ho na??"

Nandini," Haan!!"

Manik," Told you na not to eat icecream!! See what happened now!!"

Nandini," Oh hello it wasn't me, tumne badme agree kia to eat it!!"

Manik,"Oh!! Really!!"

Nandini,"Yes really! I was sitting quietly it was you!!"

(Manik was about to argue further, suddenly the window of the door on Nandini's side knocked, it was owner of icecream parlour, who came with ice creams & debit card & offerred it to them. Manik took both things & offered icecream to Nandini, but Nandini didn't took it.)

Nandini," Nahi tumne mana kiya tha na, not to eat icecream, i will not eat, tum hi kha lo!!"

Manik," Arey! Ab toh sab theek hai na kha lo!!"

Nandini," No pehle tum sorry bolo!!"

Manik," Sorry, but for what??"

Nandini," For shouting over me!!"

Manik," Hello Manik Malhotra kisi ko bhi sorry nahi bolta, get that straight!!"

Nandini,"Fine go ahead, eat both of them mujhe nahi chahiye!!"

(Manik got angry first looked outside, and was about to throw icecream, Nandini with a worried look towards him & stops him in a hurry.)

Nandini," Manik stop stop! Yeh tum kya kar rahe ho?"

Manik," Throwing them, u dont wanna eat na?"

Nandini," Hoo maine kab bola i don't wanna eat i just asked u to say sorry which u havent said untill now!!"

Manik,"Listen, main sorry nahi bolne wala if u want them u can have or else let me throw it & lets leave!!"

Nandini (snatch icecream from his hand with an angry face)," Fine mat bolo sorry tum!!"

(Manik smirks. They both ate icecream & drove back home, but didn't utter a word.)

(Both reached home, Manik came out of the car & offers his hand after opening the door. Nandini jerks his hand in anger & Manik removes his hand. Nandini came out, they move forward, suddenly foot of Nandini strucks to a stone & she was on verge of falling, but Manik holds her by her waist, both look & each other)

Manik," Hey, be careful, dekh kar chalo na!!"

Nandini (stands straight and removes his hands from her waist & whispers),"  As if u care!!"

Manik," What??"

(Nandini nods her head, & both Manik & Nandini begin moving forwards. They step forwards, Nandini cries out of pain.)

Manik," Hey, tum theek ho na??"

Nandini," Yes i am okay!!"

(Both again moves few steps forwards, but she loses her balance, cries in pain again & falls on Manik, who holds her hand, & prevents her from falling.)

Manik," Nandini, see this discharge thing wasn't a good idea, doctor was right, I think you should go back to hospital."

Nandini," Arey, No no Manik i am fine bas balance nahi ban raha tha!!"

Manik," Okay but Nandini walk slowly, aram se chalo!!"

(Nandini moved her head in yes, and tried walking but again she cried out in pain, this time louder & keep her hand on Manik's shoulder for support. Manik picks up Nandini in her arms & begin walking slowly & carefully. Nandini was looking at Manik with a sweet smile on her lips & Manik in front, but was aware that Nandini is looking at him. Nandini's one hand landed on his shoulder & other around his neck. Both entered in house. Everyone was sitting on couch waiting for them & rushed towards Nandini after seeing them. Manik puts Nandini down.)

Nyonika," Manik, what happened, why were you carrying her like this?? And tum dono itne late kese ho gaye??"

Manik," Mom she was unable to walk that's why, usko pain ho raha tha!? And we were late because of traffic!!"

(Nandini thought that Manik will tell the whole incident but was relaxed that he didn't tell that.)

Nyonika," What? Pain!! Nandini tum theek ho shall i call doctor!!"

Nandini," No mom, i am completely fine!!"

Nyonika," Okay, Nandini that's your room meanwhile you recover, so go & take rest!"

(Everyone left the hall. Nandini went inside the room, Manik followed her & she saw that the room was turned to a mini hospital room for Nandini with all necessities. She was offered a room down the stairs, where Alisha use to stay for her safety!. Manik was standing on the door step, his foot were not ready to enter. Nandini turned & see this happening & felt bad, but after a while he just entered the room & Nandini smiled to herself.)

Manik (clearing his throat)," So do u like the room?"

Nandini," Like?? Like seriously, its just another hospital for me, whats there to like about? But yeah its much better than icecream!!"
(She said in teasing way. Maniks face turned into little angry.)

Manik," Hello, this is all u need right now? A good care & that way its perfect & icecream thing you only spoiled!!"

Nandini," No i didn't u did that, you didn't said sorry!!"

Manik," And i won't say that ever!"

(Nandini was about to argue further but seeing Nyonika standing on doorstep, she stopped, she was smiling.)

Manik," Kya hua, why u stopped, u were about to say na, comeon say!!"

(Nandini looked towards Manik & then towards Nyonika)

Nandini," Mom ap yahan??"

Manik," What?? Mom, wo kahan se... !!" (He turns & see Nyonika standing behind & smiling. She stepped inside)

Nyonika," Comeon, why do you guys stopped, continue your argument!!"

(Nandini folded her lips & looked down)

Manik," No mom we weren't fighting, we were just talking about...."

(Nandini looled towards Manik & her eyes widened as she thought he will reveal about accident, but Manik looked at Nandini & stopped before speaking.)

Nyonika,"  Ya ya, go ahead, you guys were just....??"

Manik," Forget it!!"

(He just left making an angry face. Nyonika looked towards Nandini.)

Nandini," Mom, wo...!!"

(Before Nandini could say something, Nyonika hugs her!)

Nyonika,"  Good job Nandini, our plans working & thus way he soon will be distracted from that girl!!"

(Nandini just smiled.)

Nyonika," Okay! Fine now, enough of talking, you just lie down & rest! I will leave u alone!"

(Nyonika left.)

(Everyone was taking good care of her especially Manik, they used to spend a lot of time together & share a good bond of friendship. Manik also hide his feelings & pain from Nandini, which she was very well aware of! Manik and Nandini talks for whole night, & Manik read books for her, they both watched movies, sing music together. Mukti was busy in attending Music workshop in college, so she gave duty to Manik to take care of Nandini, & she called alternate days to know about Nandini's condition, after Nandini sleeps.

One night, Manik & Nandini were singing a song while watching movie, Nandini fall asleep in sitting position,  but Manik was awake, & when he saw Nandini sleeping in uncomfortable position, he helped her to lie down. He kept one hand below her head & slowly without disturbing her & her sleep, he made her lie down. Nandini hold his collar, grip was so tight, he tried to get rid but ended up getting more close to her close to her face, their was less gap left between them. Manik tried a lot & after few trials he managed to free himself from her clutches . He stood up but ended up falling on bed as she held his hand again this time more tightly. Manik smiled, again tried to free himself, this time he wasn't able to, he got tired of attempts, just sat on bed & keep looking at her face, waiting for a chance that she leave his hand & he can leave but he didnt got a chance.While waiting, Manik didn't knew when he fall asleep.)

(One month passed, Nandini recovered fully & Mukti was free from that workshop thing & was sleeping after meeting Nandini. Everyone was happy with this, but Nandini was most happy. In evening, all hospitalized stuff was removed, it was the last time time she saw him! Manik didn't came to meet her after evening & Nandini , worried because of that, as she knew that Manik was pretending to be normal, but actually he wasn't!

*At 10pm*

(Nandini was feeling suffocated & bored, so she went to the terrace, she was thinking about Manik as well & found Manik sitting there on the staircase! She went near him!)
