(Manik was lying on couch near window with his eyes closed & head leaned at wall, but his mind was occupied with Alisha's thoughts, Mukti was aware of it, she was lying on the the bed but was worriedly staring at Manik. Mukti noticed the tear droplet rolled out from Manik's eye, she was not feeling good seeing in this condition! Soon both fell asleep. It was 3 am when they slept, at 7 am, Mukti's phone ranged, Mukti woke up, saw sleeping Manik & picked up the call. The call was more than enough for shocking Mukti, she completed the conversation,disconnected the call & rushed towards sleeping Manik with teary eyes.)

Mukti (crying)," Bhai?? Bhai?? Utho , wake up?"

(Mukti's crying and worried tone was enough for waking Manik. Seeing Mukti's condition his worry increased. He cupped her face & wiped her tears.)

Manik (wiping tears)," Mukti... Mukti, what happened?? Why are you crying?? Tell me? Who was on call and what did did he say?"

Mukti(stops crying)," Bhai, Vo... vo... it was shashi massi (she said taking pauses) she said, Nandini ko suddenly kuch ho gaya hai vo respond nahi kar rahi hai & she was crying and asked us to come to hospital right now, she is alone wahan koi bhi nahi hai!!"

(After hearing this, Manik got shocked & his eyes widened.)

Manik (covered his face with his palms, ruffled his hair frustrated sinking in the pool of tension & gets up),"Oh my god! What's all this happening, she was fine right, she was out of danger, suddenly what happened??"

Mukti (panicking)," Bhai idk massi just said itna hi i asked her what happened, & she disconnected call after saying, come right now! (She gets up , hold Manik's hand and pulls him) bhai, please comeon let's go to hospital, mujhe Nandini ke pas jana hai!!"

Manik (moves in a hurry)," Yes... yes... we need to go... listen just tell mom & dad that we are going to hospital, main car nikalta hoon!!"

(Mukti informs her parents, they came down in a hurry & Manik was blowing horn in the car. Mukti ran and sat in the car, Nyonika interrupts.)

Nyonika (in worried tone)," Manik, what happened to her? Comeon let's go to hospital fast?"

Manik," No mom, i don't know what happened to her, and you guys stay here & relax i will see to it!! Now close the door & let us go, its getting late!"

(Nyonika steps backwards, Mukti shuts the door & Manik fastly drove the car. They ran & reach into the hospital. Shashi was standing outside the OT, fisting her hands. Manik came and hold her shoulders.)

Manik (his eyebrows cringed seeing Shashi's face)," What happened to Nandini?? Is she fine??"

(Mukti was standing near with tears in her eyes, waiting for an answer from Shashi, who looked at Mukti & then again make an eye contact with Manik.)

Shashi," Vo... main Nandini ke pas bethi thi, suddenly she started breathing heavily & her heartbeat slow hone lag gayi, i rushed & called doctor & vo abhi check kar rahe hain!!"

(Doctor came out, Manik & Mukti rushed towards doctor.)

Mukti," Doctor, how's Nandini? Is she alright?"

(Doctor looked at the floor & again made an eye contact with them, Mukti & Manikwas desperately waiting for an answer.)

Doctor," Her heartbeats are slowing down! And we are unable to figure out ke usko kya ho raha hai, she was absolutely fine before few hours, & suddenly usko kya hua i don't know!!"

Manik (with cringed eyebrows & a high pitch)," So doctor, what are you looking for, go and do something na, why you came out??"

Doctor(sad & calming tone)," Dekhiye, Mr. Manik, we tried our level best but nothing worked, ab its upto her, only 2 - 3 hours are left to regain her consciousness otherwise kuch bhi kehna mushkil hai! I am sorry!!"

Mukti (shouts while crying)," What do you mean kuch bhi kehna mushkil hai, what are you here for go and do something, save her!!"

Manik (calming Mukti)," Relax, Mukti camn down, she will be fine!!"

Mukti," How will she be fine, bhai, apne suna nahi doctor ne kya bola, she only has 2 hours left! Kaise theek hogi vo??"

(Mukti hugs Manik & begin crying, Manik hugs her back tightly.)

Manik (keeping his hand on her head while hugging, consoles Mukti)," Shh... Relax Mukti, sab theek hoga don't worry, she will be fine, trust me! Kuch nahi hoga Nandini ko!!"

(They break hug, shashi came near Mukti & keep her hand on Mukti's shoulder & smiles)
Shashi (smiling)," She will be fine don't worry!!"

(Mukti hugs Massi & when she breaks hug, Shashi felt weakness she get fainted, was about to fall, Mukti & Manik hold her & make her sit on the bench, Manik bring water for her &make her drink.)

Manik," Are you fine massi??"

Shashi," Yes i am fine, vo bas halka sa chakkar agaya tha!!"

Mukti," Main doctor ko bula lati hoon??"

Shashi," Arey nahi, Mukti vo bas main tired hu isliye ye hua aur kuch nahi, main thodi der beth jaungi theek ho jaungi!!"

Manik," What do you mean beth jaungi toh theek ho jaungi, ap ghar jao main hoon yahan, Mukti go take my car and Massi ko ghar drop kar ke aja!!"

Mukti," Ok bhai, chalo massi!!"

Shashi," Arey Nandini is not well, you know na how can i go!!"

Manik," Massi ap jao, main hoon na yahan & mom dad hain ghar pe ap jao, aur Mukti apko drop karke wapis ajaegi, i will take care yahan pe, ap jao, Mukti tu ja na inko lekar!!"

(Shashi agreed and left the hospital. Manik sits on the bench but was being restless, he went to the doctor's cabin & knocked the door.)

Doctor," Who's this??"

Manik(opens the door a little & peeps in)," Doctor, it's me Manik, may i come in?"

Doctor (smiling)," Oh, Manik, yes ofcourse come in, come in?

(Manik comes and sit on the chair & doctor was scrolling among some files.)

Manik," Doctor, I am sorry for that, I and Mukti lashed out on you in the corridor!!"

Doctor," Oh, don't bother, its fine!
Manik, main Nandini ki hi reports check kar raha hoon & mujhe samajh nahi aya that suddenly use hua kya, she was fine infact she was recovering very fast, but suddenly, i don't know what happened to her, but let's hope she will be fine soon, maine senior doctor ko bhi consult kia hai! He said ke he will be coming here in 15 - 20 minutes, but Nandini ko khud hi theek hona hoga!!"

Manik," Doctor can i meet her!!"

Doctor," Yes, ofcourse, why not but make sure usko jyada disturbance na ho!!"

Manik," Yes, sure doctor, i won't trouble her!! Thankyou!!"

Manik smiles & get up to leave, doctor smiles back, Manik opens the door & peeps in where Nandini was lying peacefully. Manik slowly comes inside & sit near Nandini on the stool. He holds her hand & was continuously looking towards her face!! Tears rolled down his eyes, seeing Nandini's condition.)

Oh shit! Nandini isn't responding, manik is worried, hope she get's fine soon!! 😨😨
