Finns pov

I sat down on my bed with Millie, and her eyes were all red from crying, and her face had tear stains on it. Why would Jacob do that to her? I asked her to explain everything to me, so I guess she's going to.

"So, it all started when we used to date. We never told our parents because they were so close, and if we broke up their friendship could have been ruined. We had a few good months, and we loved each other. But he cheated on me. Since that day, he changed. I didn't want to break up with him because he threatened to tell our parents, and my mom would lose her closest friend, so we stayed dating. He started to do things, example A my neck. But sometimes, he went too far. He...hurt me if I didn't do something he said, and he did things to me I didn't want him to. I have a bizarre fear of ropes, so he started using them, and that just got me even more scared. He never stopped, and I let him do it. When I did something he didn't like, he would make me do things for him. He even..raped me once. I don't say anything about it, I've never even told anyone. It's just...I can't. And when my mom told me that we were moving to America, I was so happy. We can finally get away from him. I broke it off right before we left, and never contacted him since. While I was dating him, I got so...depressed. I didn't tell anyone though, I just put on a smile. That's why I hide my arms, too. Memories come back about him sometimes, and now that he's here...I can't do it, Finn."  Millie said, tears going down her face again.

"Millie that's horrible, you should of let me known sooner. I'm so sorry." I said, taking her hands. I was looking down at our hands together and I heard her sniff. How can someone do that to Millie? Millie is Millie. She's unique. Out of everyone, Millie? Millie didn't deserve this.

"Do you mind if I...." I started, flipping her arm over. She nodded, knowing what I meant. I let go of her other hand to use to pull up the sleeve of her hoodie, and when I looked at her arms and wrists, there were scars all over them. I traced my thumb over them, and some of them even make an indent in her skin. There's a lot of scars, too.

"Millie...." I said, but couldn't think of other words.

"Nobody knows anything that I just told you, except you. So don't tell anyone. Please?" She asked me, looking me into the eyes.

"Promise." I said, pulling her sleeve back down and tightening the grip on her hands. I look back up at her, and her eyes meet mine. Poor Millie. I wish I could do something.

"Well, I kind of knew about the rope part." I said and she furrowed her eyebrows at me.

"How?" She said, as I looked back down at our hands.

"After the party, you were drunk talking, and I had some in my car that I forgot to give to Gaten, and you started freaking out and yelling at me and calling me Jacob, but I thought it was just drunk talk." I said, and she nodded.

Millie's pov

After I told Finn my story, he understood it all. I'm glad he's not going to tell anyone, I don't want him to. He grabbed my hand and tightened his grip on them, which made my stomach go like crazy. I looked up at him and he was looking into my eyes. He looked down to my lower face, leaning in slowly, as did I. I really want to kiss him right now. Do I go for it? Do I wait for him to go for it?

All of a sudden, his lips meet mine. I felt sparks going off everywhere in my body, as he continues to kiss me. I deepen the kiss, and it becomes more passionate. His lips are soft against mine, moving in sync with mine. Occasionally, I could feel his nose hit mine as he kissed me. I felt him shift up a little, and I leaned back so my back was against the bed. He got on top of me, without breaking the kiss. He had both arms on the side of me so he wouldn't put a lot of weight on me. I felt like he was being gentle in the kiss, like he didn't want to hurt my lips or something. I didn't mind it though, I thought it was cute. Then, both of our mouths opened, and the kiss got better. I gasped for air when our mouths opened, and then went right back into the kiss. My hands went from around his neck up to his soft curly hair, and I tugged on it a little. This is what a kiss should feel like. You should be with someone that you like, not Jacob.

A few minutes later, we stop kissing, and Finn gets off of me and lays down next to me. I can hear him breathing heavily, the same as me. Then, I got very tired suddenly, and fell asleep after catching my breath.

I woke up to feeling someone shift around. I look up and see that I'm not in my bed, but Finns bed. I'm under the blankets, as he is too, and he has his arm wrapped around me. I wrapped my arm over his stomach, as rested my head underneath his shoulder. I was holding hands with his arm that wasn't around me, and I can feel his warmth on my hand. The sunlight was hitting us, and it caused Finn to wake up, along with me. He knows I'm up, because I shift my body so I'm laying down on my stomach. I unlaced my fingers from his, and set my hand on his chest. I realized I could feel his heartbeat, and it was going pretty fast.

"Millie-

"Finn!! Are you awake??" Finns Mom said from outside the door, cutting Finn off from what he was gonna say. We both jumped up, and he took his arm back from around me. He looked at me, and whispered to me to hide. I went into his bathroom and shut the door. I heard him open his door.

"Yeah Mom, I'm awake." Finn said, casually.

"Okay, well I'm going to the craft show, I'll be back at around 2:30-3:00." Finns Mom said.

"Okay, Bye." Finn said, and I heard his mom say bye, and he closed the door. I opened the door, and Finn opened it at the same time, so we ended up a foot away from each other. I looked up into his eyes, and he was looking down at me. His lips were slightly parted, like he wanted to say something, but didn't. After a few seconds, I walked out of the bathroom around him and sat down on the bed again. I realized I fell asleep with my contacts in, but shrugged it off. I checked the time, and it was 10:30. Is he gonna bring up the kiss from last night? I set my phone down, and I saw him sit down across from me. I kept my eyes located on his legs, not wanting to make eye contact with him.

"Is Jacob leaving today?" Finn asked me, and I nodded, starting to fidget with my bracelet. All of the hickeys that Jacob gave me from yesterday were visible on my neck right now, since I just put my hair up in a messy bun.

"I think he's leaving at 4:00." I said, and I saw him nod his head. We both looked up at each other when we heard the doorbell ring. He put a hand out to tell me to stay here, and then he left, closing the door. I went up to his door to try and hear what was happening. I heard the front door open, then I heard a guy voice.

"Hey dude, what's up?" I heard Caleb say to Finn.

"Nothing." Finn said, and then I heard the front door close. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs, so I quickly hid in Finns closet. His closet was a bit big, so I could fit in it easily. I closed the door right when I heard Finns door open.

"So what are you guys doing here?" Finn asked them.

"We were bored, wanted to see what was up, we haven't talked all weekend." Gaten said to Finn.

They started talking for a while, and Noah was there too. I brought my phone into the closet with me, so I went on it for a while.

"Hey, whose bag and charger?" Noah asked, and then I looked up. I think my heart skipped a beat.

What if they find out I'm here?

"Um, mine." Finn said.

"So you have two chargers, and girl clothes?" I heard Caleb ask Finn.

"Whose glasses and contact case?" Gaten asked, and then I heard footsteps go toward the bathroom.

"Oh my god, those are Millie's glasses." I heard Caleb say. They know I'm here now.

"No, they are mine. I got glasses yesterday." Finn said, which made me do a silent laugh.

"And they happen to look exactly like Millie's?" Noah asked Finn, and I put my body against the door to try and listen better.

"Oohhh, I know." Gaten said, me not knowing what he meant, since I can't see what they are doing. All of a sudden, the door to the closet opens, and since my body was leaning against it, I fell over onto the ground. They all just looked at me and their mouths were open.

"Umm...Hi...." I said, trying to break the silence.

"Oh my god Finn!!! You're having a secret relationship with Millie and aren't telling us!!" Gaten said, and I looked over at Finn.

"Umm no-

"Then those hickeys just randomly appeared on Millie's neck?" Caleb said, cutting me off.

"We aren't in a secret relationship. We aren't in a relationship at all!!" Finn said, and for some reason, it hurt.

"Then explain this." Noah said, bringing up his phone. He shows it to me first. Someone took pictures of Finn and I went we went to go get ice cream. One of us walking together and laughing, another one of me putting ice cream all over his face, one of him putting it on mine, and one wiping it off of his lip. My mouth gaps a little, and I look up to Finn, because I'm still sitting down from falling over. Finn saw the pictures, and furrowed his eyebrows.

"Who took those?!!" Finn said, leaning back against the wall.

"I don't know, some kid from our school. So now you guys can't hide it, you're secretly dating. I'm telling Sadie and the other two." Caleb said.

"No!!!!! No, we aren't dating. Just friends. Don't tell Sadie anything." I said, which made myself hurt.

"So you guys are friends now? Was it before or after he gave you all those hickeys on your neck?" Gaten asked.

That hurt.

I felt tears come to my eyes, and I look up to Finn, and he has an angry and sad expression in his eyes. I get up and run into the bathroom, and lock the door. They don't know about Jacob, only Finn does. They wouldn't understand.

"Guys, that wasn't cool." Finn said, as I wiped some of the tears from my face away. I'm pretty sure he was right on the other side of the door, from my hearing perspective.

"We were just saying what we know, bro." Caleb said, and I hear Finn try to open the door, but couldn't because it was locked.

"'Millie..." Finn said, not saying anything else. I don't know if I should open the door or not.

"We aren't dating, and no, we're not friends either. Don't ask why she's here, because you won't get an answer or explanation. Can you guys just come back later?" I heard Finn ask them. He told them we aren't friends, too. Are we?

"Sure. Just text us." Noah said, and I heard them open the door, then close it. There was silence for a couple minutes, then I hear Finns voice again.

"Millie, they left." Finn said, and I got up slowly. I unlocked the door and opened it to see Finn standing in the doorway. He pulled me into a hug, and I felt tears still going down my face. He's so warm, I could hug him forever. He let go of the hug after a while and put his hands on my face, wiping away my tears.

"It's okay, they don't know what they are talking about." Finn said, and I just looked at his shoulder and nodded.
