Kokichi was disappointed that day, his girlfriend promised to take him somewhere but she made plans with her friends so she couldn't take him. He was laying on the the bed they shared, crying to himself. Their cat, Checkers, jumped onto the bed curled up next to him. Kokichi had high and low points of his depression but today was high point, he didn't feel well at all, he hadn't eaten anything yet.

The boy tried calming himself down so when Miu got home she wouldn't feel bad about breaking her promise. He hated seeing Miu sad and it was almost always his fault, well in his mind at least, the truth was he wasnt the biggest cause, Miu herself gets sad when she cant get a invention right, leading her to ask the shorter for help.

He didn't hear the front door nor the bedroom door open. "Kichi?" Kokichi sat up to the sudden voice, only to see Miu. "Jesus christ Miu, you scared me!" He exclaimed, wiping his tears away. "Sorry... for breaking my promise and scaring you." She walked over to the bed and sat down next to Kokichi. "I shouldn't have broken my promise but I hope this will make up for it." She pulled a box out of her pocket, the boy's eyes widened.

"Shut the front door." "Nope." "Oh my god!! Your proposing to me!!!!" "Hell yeah I am." The shorter quickly hugged Miu. "Thank you.... thank you so much for dealing with me..." Miu hugged him back. "Dont thank me, Kichi. You deserve the whole world and I'm going to give that to you and so much more." They both pulled back from the hug, Miu opened the box to reveal a small silver ring with diamonds on it. His eyes lit up seeing the ring, he held his hand out for Miu, she put the ring on him, smiling.

The two share a quick kiss before putting their foreheads together. "MewMew.... I love you..." "I love you too, Kichi..." The two stayed there for a few minutes, enjoying each other's presence and Checkers had fallen asleep. Iruma spoke up first, breaking the silence. "Did you eat something today?" "No..." She sighed. "Lets order some take out tonight so you dont have to get out of bed." Kokichi moved away from Miu and yawned slightly, laying down. "Wake me up when it gets here...." "Chinese?" Kokichi gave her a thumbs up before falling asleep.

"Sleep well you little devil." Miu kissed Kokichi's forehead before quickly getting off the bed, leaving the bedroom.
