type: a pet you persuade him to get

✧ Damon:

And you get a rabbit together. At first he agreed coz of course he loved you and couldn't say no but it was a major plus that he could use it in order to mock and tease Stefan. Damon figured it would be just a funny gag to trouble his little brother though soon found himself taking care of the rabbit when you were too busy. He'd stroke it's back and grumble about his day or the many annoying people in his life to it as you secretly watched with a smile on your face. When you would change for bed,Damon would lay up against his headboard, bunny on lap stroking its fur and he'd whisper to the little guy about how pretty you were which made you blush.

✧ Stefan:

And you get a cat. He reluctantly agreed to get a pet for your sake. Though occasionally he would kneel down when passing by and stroke the cat's fur (which was calming and therapeutic) soon Stefan and your cat developed a bond. He especially enjoyed when you two cuddled with the feline on his lap or yours. A hand of his interlocked with yours whilst the other was nestled in the cat's fur, making it purr. They were adorable and when you cried the cat would always find Stefan and meow at him as a sign,leading him to you.

✧ Enzo:

And you would get a pet bird.
Enzo found charm in nightingales or humming birds so you figured a cute bird would fit well. You found Enzo's personality similar to a birds; loving freedom, unique,peaceful,melodic and beautiful in every way. Enzo would hum to the bird as he refilled it's food and water trays and you'd listen in from the kitchen as you washed up dinner he made.

✧ Jeremey:

And you would get a pet lizard. Even though you were against it and found them super creepy, eventually you gave in seeing it made Jer happy and as long as it wasn't kept in your room and you didn't have to help take care of it.

✧ Matt:

Matt and you would get a goldfish. The boy has no time but since you wanted a pet he figured a goldfish... something that was behind a glass/in a bowl,safe and not much trouble or maintenance required. Simple,easy and done. Sometimes when you two cuddled and talked you'd watch the goldfish swim calmly swim around.

✧ Tyler:

And you would get a dog. It was only fitting and made a good werewolf joke plus Tyler was good with them and so were you. It was always cute watching him play with the dog or when you both took the pup on a run and Tyler chatted with him or made him jump onto you giving you 'a hug from Tyler'. Tyler got good with training him and they were practically always together giving meaning to the whole a dog is a man's bestfriend thing and you 3 loved it.

✧ Kai:

And you would get a guinea pig together. At first as an inside joke about something odd Kai said but then you'd end up tugging him to a pet store and getting one. Kai would find the concept of a pet strange and he'd just frown and stare at the animal at times but as time went on he'd feed the guy whatever snack he was eating that was safe for it as he mindlessly talked to the guinea pig about his feelings or stick his finger in the cage to pet or annoy the tiny animal. You giggled at his pout when you gave the pet too much attention

✧ Alaric:

And you would get a hamster, it's a pet you both can handle to keep and Ric doesn't mind. He would occasionally fill it's bowl and keep the case/cage clean. Sometimes Ric would spin the wheel or hold the guy in his hand some mornings after having his coffee, taking him for a walk around the house as you chuckled at them from your place on the couch,book in lap. Then you'd stand up and walk over giving him a peck on his cheek.

✧ Klaus:

And you would get a horse together. Klaus has always loved and admired them. So it was only fitting to get your very own together. When he had time you two would go riding together and sight seeing in nature. He loved those moments and so did you. Klaus was a sight to see around horses,he looked at peace around them and it made your heart swell with joy for him. He'd brush their coats with a soft look in his eyes and a soft smile dancing across those lips. It would make you tug his face close to yours, giving him a kiss and when you'd go to pull away you'd find him looking at you with a love struck look before bringing you in for another longer kiss amongst nature and your horse.

✧ Kol:

And you would get a Fox. You know its not typically a pet or an animal one would get or keep but it was as mischievous as Kol and he thought of the animal as cool and different plus it was really cute and majestic so you didn't mind and enjoyed the fox. You both made sure to take necessary adjustments and changes in order to house a fox as a pet and the little fox would run around with you two enjoying himself.

✧ Elijah:

And you would get a turtle. Elijah enjoyed watching it swim when he thought about Klaus and his family. It helped him think and calm down. You would bend down and wrap your arms around him, leaning your chin onto his shoulder. Nuzzling into the side of his neck enjoying the warmth from Elijah and the slow motions of the turtle swimming in it's tank,a peaceful sight and feeling indeed for the both of you as Elijah held onto your hands and breathed in your scent placing a kiss against your cheek before tugging you onto his lap.
