Ryan is now discharged from the hospital,
As he walks outside, he notices a girl of his age crying on the bench across the park.

"Are you okay?"
Ryan asked

"Huh, yeah I'm fine."
She replied

"I don't want to be nosy but you can talk to me."
He stated

"You literally just came out the hospital, you should be heading home to rest, why stop and asking about my well being?"
She asked

"A friend of mine risked his life to save mine, I might not be risking life to talk to you right now but I truly hope it can alleviate whatever burden you're carrying."
He responded

She smiled and looked up at him

"I'm just a mess!!
I thought I was doing the right thing and now I realize what I was doing, what was searching for is all wrong and it's too late to fix these broken pieces."
She cried

"Listen, it's never too late.
I don't know what you've been through, I don't know what you've done.
But what I know for certain is that you acknowledged what you did was wrong and that shows that there's hope for you to rectify whatever it is that had happened."
He started

"Easy for you to say!!"
She replied

"I was an orphan, up to this day I've never met my real parents. The ones I grew up with abused me, treated me like trash and then I reconnected with my childhood friend and that changed everything!!
I might not have all that I want but at least I have a family that loves, supports and risks their lives for me; literally!!!
How biological can that get!!"
He replied

She hugs him

"I'm glad I could help, if you ever wanna talk, here's my number."
He stated

"I'm Ryan by the way"
He introduced

"Aman-"
She smiled

"Emily, my name is Emily."
She replied

"Nice to meet you Emily, hope I see you around."
He replied

"I'm sure you will."
She smiled

She got in her car, a change she seeks
She quickly got out and kissed Ryan on his cheek.
As she drove away, Ryan smiled,
He thought he found love, something he haven't felt in a while.

On the other hand, Melissa learnt the location of David from Carlos,
An abandoned military base just a few knots from here.
With little to no experience, little to no gear,
She set out to rescue him, she no longer had fear.
With all the mercenaries now fighting the Russians, only a handful of guards remain,
They sent a message to the mercenaries, but it would take a while before they came.

She arrived on the site, no sign of life was there,
As she looked around, there were dead bodies everywhere.
She walked into a warehouse, foul and damp,
Inside she found David in a cage with both hands clamped.

"David!!"
She cried

His eyes tried to open, but it was futile to try,
He was barely breathing, Melissa effortlessly cried.
She opened the trap door and reached down into the cage,
As she pulled him out, someone screamed enraged

"What are you doing?"
She shouted

"Back off!!"
Melissa replied as she points David's pistol at her

"Mel, it's me!!
Are you going to shoot me?"
She asked

"I will if I have to!!"
Melissa replied

"I came here to undo my wrong, I came here to release him even if it meant being on the run for the rest of my life, but here I find you saving the great David Delafrente!!
How did you get caught up in all this?"
She asked

"You want to right your wrongs?
Then step aside and allow us to pass."
Melissa replied

She steps aside to allow them to pass,
Suddenly the sound of explosion and gunfire canned heard in the distance.

"On second thought!!
I rather end your lives right here!!"
She replied

"What's wrong with you?
We went to college together, we were besties!!"
Melissa uttered

"Were besties!!
I'm not gonna throw this all away, not when I'm so close to my triumph!!
All I need s my merchandise from David and you're gonna help me get it!!
She replied

"The explosions; you really think you can manipulate the Delafrentes to do your bidding, I've already alerted them, they're coming for you, they will kill you!!!"
Melissa replied

"Yeah they might, but at least I get to kill you first!!
She uttered

She fired her pistol, with fright, Melissa's eyes lit,
With all the strength left in his body, David jump in front of her and took the hit.
He fired a bullet that hit her on the arm,
As he fell face first on the ground, to protect her from harm.

Amanda screamed in pain and quickly fled the scene,
David was losing a lot of blood, but the bullet went through clean.
Melissa tried to help him up but he could do nothing but to lie,
Lie on the ground and try not to die.
She screamed, she cried,
She shouted, she tried.
On the concrete, a pool of blood forms,
Out of nowhere arrived men in uniforms.

David's Mercenaries showed up on the scene,
They applied pressure on his wounds, called in the distress team.
They flew him out back to his base,
Where he could be nursed back to health and get back on the case.
