IT WAS A beautiful sunny day in Awa'atlu, the kids went out to play after breakfast while you and Jake stayed home with Niraya and So'lek. Lei'wa fed Niraya some fresh fruit. Meanwhile Jake put So'lek to sleep. "Ma'Jake, when do you think we should move to the forest?" You asked Jake, the both of you decided that after So'lek was born that you would move to the forest so Niraya and So'lek could experience life in the forest and get to know  their other half. And so the kids could visit their home again after such a long time. But to be honest you weren't sure if you were ready yet to leave your home.

"I don't know baby, whenever you're ready." Jake replied kissing your forehead. You sighed not sure of what to do. "We don't have to leave right away, there's no rush. When you're ready just tell me mama." Jake said pulling you close. Lei'wa nodded cuddling close to her mate. Niraya cooed against you.

Everything was perfectly fine, the kids got back home from playing outside since it started to rain. But once Tonowari delivered some terrible news everything began to fall apart. Lei'wa was happily cooking with Jake and the kids, when Tonowari knocked on the entrance of your mauri.

He had a gloomy look on his face. Jake's smile immediately turned into a frown. Your mate walked up to talk to Tonowari, you had a look of confusion plastered on your face. Curious to know what was going on. The kids all looked confused as well.

You handed So'lek over to Neteyam, so you could figure out what was happening. Lei'wa walked out of the mauri with a perplexed face. "Sempul what's going on?" You asked with worry. Tonowari sighed before speaking. "Ikari, your friend. Her spirit sister has been murdered by the Sky People.." Your ears dropped, your heart began to race. So many thoughts were running through your mind. But we defeated the Sky People. How is this possible? You thought. You felt so bad for your best friend, you would never wish that on any Metkayina.

Jake's eyes widened. "How? But we defeated them. I killed Quaritch, how is he still alive?! Jake exclaimed with frustration. "I don't know how that demon is still alive. Ikari told me that she was swimming when she found her spirit sister dead, with one of those trackers attached to her." Tonowari replied with anger inside.

Lei'wa couldn't believe that the Sky People were back, you were even more ready to fight for your people...
