THE BIOLUMINESCENCE shined brightly, you and Jake were taking a stroll on the beach, it was your date night, which was almost over. Your parents were with Niraya and the rest of the kids, while you and Jake were out. Tomorrow you were planning on having a talk with Kiri, she's been acting more and more suspicious lately.

"I had so much fun tonight Ma'Jake." You spoke up, your eyes twinkling with joy. "Me too baby, it's been a while since we had some time alone." Jake replied kissing you softly. You smiled, resting your forehead against his.

After your walk with Jake, the both of you decided that it was time to go back home, since it was getting pretty late. You picked up the kids from your parents mauri and walked back to your pod.

"It was so much fun with grandma and grandpa!" Tuk cheered as she skipped happily. You smiled at your daughter's innocence. "I'm glad to hear that ma'ite." You responded stroking her hair gently.

Everyone else was getting ready to sleep after a long day. Niraya was in your arms nearly falling alseep, you were singing her songcord, it always put her to sleep. Once her little snores could be heard you carefully placed her in her crib. You kissed her cheek softly, your baby smiled in her sleep, feeling your presence. You walked back to you and Jake's shared hammock. The both of you fell asleep in each other's embrace.

YOU WOKE UP early to the bright sunlight, the morning was peaceful and still, people awoke early to hunt for fish. Today is the celebration for the birth of Niraya, you were so excited for your people to welcome your baby into this world.

Jake and the kids woke later than usual, so you were the first one to eat breakfast, and Niraya whom woke up a few minutes after you. "Morning love, mmm that food looks delicious." Jake said, sitting down next to you. "Good morning Ma'Jake." You responded, eating some dragon fruit. Niraya was in your arms, snuggling into you, eating her small bits of fruit. She looked up at her father with wide eyes and a cute smile.

"Ohhh look who's awake." Jake said cooing at his daughter, tickling her tummy softly. Niraya giggled and babbled at her father. You beamed at their bond, stroking her hair softly.

Neteyam, Loak, Kiri and Tuk awakened right after Jake, ready to taste the delicious food you've made. Kiri was extra cheerful this morning, she's usually a little bit tired when she wakes up, so it was pretty odd to you. Speaking of that, you remembered that you wanted to have a talk with her today.

"Morning mom." Neteyam and Loak spoke in unison. "Good morning my boys." You replied handing Niraya over to Jake, she curled her small tail around Jake's arm. "Mama!" Tuk squealed sitting on your lap, hugging you close. "Tuk Tuk, good morning ma'ite." You spoke kissing her forehead lovingly.

After eating breakfast with your family, you decided that you were going to talk with Kiri. She was sitting on the dock next to your mauri. The rest of the kids were out swimming, while Loak was on a date with Tsireya, they officially started dating.

You quietly approached her, sitting down next to her. Kiri turned her head towards you, feeling your presence. "Hey mom." She spoke with a smile. You smiled back. "Hello ma'ite, I uh, wanted to speak with you about something." You replied sighed softly. Kiri gulped at your words, she looked anxious as soon as you said that.

"Yeah, go ahead, what is it?" She asked nervously. You paused before speaking. "So lately I've noticed that you've been acting suspicious. You've been leaving the pod for the same reasons, that you want to go swimming, you want to collect shells, etc. Tsireya has also noticed that Aonung has been leaving at the same time as you have, and coming back at the same time aswell. Is there something going on between you two?" Kiri sighed as she looked down with shame. "Yes, we've been hanging out together lately, we really like each other and we were just too scared to say anything to anyone. I know that keeping it a secret from you and dad wasn't okay, but I was just afraid of what you guys would've said." She spoke as she began to shed tears.

Your eyes softened at her words, you pulled her in for an embrace. "Oh ma'ite, I could never be mad at you for liking Aonung, I was simply disappointed that you kept it from us, that's all tiyawn." You replied rocking her side to side gently.

You finished having your conversation with Kiri, and everything worked out perfectly fine. Now it was time to get ready for the celebration. You were with your family in your mauri getting ready. Tuk was wearing a gorgeous Omatikaya outfit and Metkayina jewelry, same with Kiri. Neteyam and Loak wore their traditional Omatikaya neck pieces and Metkayina loincloth's, including Jake. Niraya wore the cutest Omatikaya top and loincloth with mini seashells in her hair. As for you, you wore a gorgeous white top with shells and diamonds along with a matching loincloth. Your hair was in a beautiful Metkayina hairstyle with a crown made out of diamonds and shells.

Tsireya came by to see if you guys were ready. She had on a stunning outfit. It was a pink top with mini shells hanging on long threads, with flowers and a matching loincloth. Loak's pupils dilated once he saw her. "Sorry to interrupt, but is everyone ready?" Tsireya asked kindly. "Yes sister, we're ready." You replied with a smile.

As everyone was walking out, Loak went up to Tsireya and held her close by the waist. "You look stunning ma." Loak complimented. Tsireya blushed giggling softly. "Thank you Loak." She replied smiling.

Neteyam and Kiri teased them playfully. You and your family finally made it to where the celebration was taking place. It was decorated in a mix of Metkayina and Omatikaya culture, there were lights hung up aswell. It was absolutely breathtaking.

The kids were walking behind you and Jake, while Niraya was in your arms, she squealed at the decorations, clapping her tiny hands together. You smiled at your baby, seeing your kids happy warmed your heart.

Once the celebration started, all of the Metkayina gathered around. You and your family made your way to the center. "Niraya!" Jake exclaimed as he held Niraya above their heads. Lei'wa cried with happiness, looking up at the squirming baby in Jake's hands.

Your people said their chant welcoming Niraya into their home. Jake smiled at you as he brought Niraya down to your level. The kids rushed towards you both with smile's on their faces, they hugged you and Jake tightly but still being careful of Niraya in Jake's arms. 

Ronal and Tonowari went up to you and your family. "I'm so happy for you ma'ite." Ronal spoke as she embraced you in a hug, Aonung, Tonowari and Tsireya joined in the hug.

After your moment with your parents and siblings, you walked back to your family to sit by the bonfire and eat. This was such a special moment for you, and you couldn't be more happier. Your heart was completely full, you thanked Eywa for making your wishes and desires come true.
