Frantically running, scared out of her mind,
She ran towards the police station, leaving her belongings behind.

A black Cadillac, the only description she remembers of the car,
But in an alleyway she was pulled by what liked to be Caesar

"Ahhh!!"
Melissa screamed

"Hey hey hey it's okay, it's me."
Caesar reassured

"Caesar?"
She asked scared out of her mind

"Yeah"
He replied

"You're dead!!!"
She shouted

"No I'm not, obviously. I faked my death"
He stated

"You faked your death, wha-"
She was puzzled

"It's not safe for me to talk here, but I assure you, I'll explain everything, meet with me at the carnival tonight next to the haunted house, we'll discuss everything there;just don't tell anyone about anything, come alone."
He replied as he quickly ran off

Melissa was shocked, confused and scared,
She wanted answers, but her life she feared.
She held her composture and walked out the alley,
Where she bumped into Amanda's sister Sally.

"Melissa, just the person, I wanted to see."
Sally stated

Melissa eyes were shaking, shaking with fear,
As she tried her best to remain composed as if her mind was clear.

"Are you okay?, You look a bit shaken up."
Sally asked

"Umm, I'm fine just a bit exhausted you know."
Melissa stated

"Tell me about it, You even left these at Caesar's Place. I was actually coming from there to ask David if he had seen Amanda, she said she would meet up there but I haven't seen David nor Amanda, have you seen them?"
Sally questioned

"No I haven't actually."
Melissa replied

"Okay let me know if you she her okay, she is supposed to help me pick out a dress for the wedding, Shawn had already asked David to be the best man. It's funny how time flies huh."
Sally stated

"It surely does, I'll let you know if I see her okay."
Melissa added

"Thank you, I owe you one"
Sally replied

Walking off, she spotted someone in the distance, as she immediately called back Sally.

"Sally!!"
Melissa shouted

"Yeah"
She replied as she ran towards her

"Isn't that Raphael Castellano?"
Melissa questioned

"Ohh, yeah that's your boss, how couldn't your recognize your boss?"
Sally questioned

"Then why is it that Amanda is getting into his car?"
Melissa asked

"What the hell!!"
Sally replied

"What's really going on here!?"
Melissa questioned

"I really don't know, are they dating?"
Sally asked

"If they are, that would mean that Raphael is cheating on Amanda with Claire and Claire is cheating on David with Raphael."
Melissa thought to herself

"Melissa?"
Sally called

"Huh?"
She answered

"Are they dating?"
Sally asked

"I really don't know, I gotta go"
Melissa replied

This day couldn't have gotten any worse,
She went home poured herself a drink and threw down her purse.
With so much going on, she was uncertain that time had went by,
She was reluctant to meet up with Caesar, but if she wanted answers she had to try.

Arriving at the carnival, people everywhere,
Some unrecognizable, music filled the air.
So much laughter, so much fun,
In the midst of this disaster, she wanted to run.
Caesar spotted her, they both drew near, they boarded the ferris wheel and ascended into the air.

"Caesar, what's going on?"
Melissa enquired

"There's a lot you don't know about David.
Growing up, his parents were unknown to him and he was always curious about his identity and past.

He had never suspected anything remarkable about himself until one day when he was out delivering pizza and noticed a few men in black suits following him. He tried to convince himself he was imagining things but the next day, they were there again.

He worried this was some kind of danger but he was determined to find out what was going on so he followed the men. For hours he stayed close, careful not to draw attention, until eventually he ended up at a large, secluded house with a heavy gate surrounding it.

He stared at the house for a few moments before he realized what he was looking at - a Mafia compound. This was where his parents lived and the men in suits were their bodyguards.

David couldn't believe what he was seeing and feeling. His parents, members of one of the most notorious organized crime syndicate in the city, had been kept a secret from him all this time.

David wanted to confront them and get some answers but he knew it was too dangerous, so he just watched from a distance.

He never got to talk to his parents, but he found comfort in the knowledge - his parents in all their dangerous and criminal activities were still, in fact, his parents.

He came home, told what he had saw and I informed the Mafia that he had knowledge of their existence, they relocated immediately. The following day, I asked him to show me where he had seen this compound, when we had arrived, the place was nothing more than a landfill that alhas been deemed a factory waste site for the past 15 years, all works of the Mafia covering their tracks to ensure the safety of David.

Even though he was confused and kept wondering if he was seeing things up to this day, I had to do whatever was necessary to keep his existence severed from that of the Mafia.
Caesar thoroughly explained

Melissa remained speechless

"I know it's a lot to take in, but when I saw Carlos and Alejandro was about to kill you, I knew I had to break it to you, maybe the Mafia will come after me, maybe I won't survive tonight, but I had to let you know David didn't have control over his life"
Caesar stated

"How did you become apart of all this, the Mafia, the pizzeria, being his Guardian?"
Melissa questioned

"My real name is Antonio Rodriguez, I'm a drug trafficker for the Mafia, don't be scared, the occupation might alarm you, but I mean no harm. I started the Pizzeria as a front for my drug trafficking so it would obscure the cops of our operations.
But my sister, Maria, got pregnant for Marcus, David's dad.
As head of the Mafia, he couldn't raise a child within his syndicate outside if being with his wife; and with Maria being a
just a scoury maid, their relationship was keep in secret.
If she was found to be pregnant she would have been terminated immediately.
She had him in secret and left him in an orphanage, she even paid off the orphanage so no one could adopt him until he was 18.
So I did what any good brother would do, I adopted him as my own after he came out of the orphanage."
Caesar replied

"What's going to happen to David now since the Mafia took him?"
Melissa asked

"I have no idea, the only person in the Mafia who knows of his existence is Marcus and Maria, so to see that the Mafia sent for him, it must be of utmost importance or something worse."
Caesar stated

"You think Marcus wife might have found out about him?"
Melissa asked

"I don't know, but I gotta go now, this is all I can say for now"
Caesar added as he disembarked the Ferris wheel.

Even with so many answers, Melissa still had questions unanswered,
Was this a family reunion or Marcus wife finally heard?
