Epilogue

Kam's POV

While Cris drove us home, there were several speed bumps. "Oh my gosh!"

"I'm sorry, Kamea. I forgot this road has speed bumps."

"It's okay. I know it wasn't intentional." But dang, it hurts like crazy! I turned my head and both babies were asleep. So far they are very good sleepers. But when they are hungry, the whole state of Florida can hear them. They cry very loudly.

Thank goodness we pulled up to the house. Bliss and Shane parked right behind us. Marco and Kekoa were outside waiting for us. Cris came over to the passenger side to help me out of the car.

"We will get the twins from the truck." Bliss and Shane grabbed the babies while Cris helped me inside.

"Welcome home, mommy!" Dia, Rocco, and Devin were lined up together with my dad.

"We drew you a picture." They each handed me their pictures. They drew me and tried to draw two babies. How adorable.

"I love them. Thank you, kiddos." I blew them a kiss because it hurts bending.

"Kamea, where would you like to sit?"

"Right now, on the couch." Cris helped me over to the couch, I slowly sat down. Bliss put Gabby in my arms. "Thanks again, Bliss and Shane. And, thank you for letting Dia, Rocco, and Devin stay with you guys."

"You're welcome, sis. We are going to have loads of fun." Gabby started getting fussy.

"I'll go get bottles for both twins." Marco then went into the kitchen. My dad made some bottles yesterday and placed them in the fridge. We may need to get another fridge. There is plenty of space in our kitchen, so we'll see.

"WAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

See what I mean. That was Gabby. And, on cue, Isabella and Kekoa are waking up. Marco came in right on time. "Thanks, bro."

"You're welcome, Kam. I'm going to head home. I'll see everyone tomorrow." Marco then left the house.

"Kamea, I packed a bag for the kids to take with them to Bliss and Shane's house. Isabella and Kekoa are coming with me. I'll bring them over every day. We all want you to get some rest."

"Thanks, dad."

Nonna Isabela held Angelo. "I'll be here to help with the babies. They are adorable. Look at all the hair they both have."

"Thank you, Isabela. It sure is. I'm going to need some industrial-strength combs for all of their hair." Everyone chuckled. Big mistake for me to chuckle. I started but stopped.

The kids are about to leave with Bliss and Shane. "Bye, mommy." They came over and kissed me.

"Goodbye, my little princes and princesses. Behave, understand?"

In unison, they said, "We promise." Then my kiddos left the house. They are growing up so fast.

After Gabby finished her bottle, I lifted her up so I could burp her. Looking down at her, she has her daddy's features and my hair texture.

I now have what I wanted - six kids and I love them all. Do I really want to give birth to two more for six birth children? We would then have nine kids. Woo, that is a lot of children. And, I am not even 30 years old yet. Cris is approaching 30 years old. We will have to talk about that.

After my baby girl belched, she was fast asleep. I am just as tired.

"Can someone take Gabby for me? I really need to lay down."

"I'll take her, Kamea." Nonno Antonio picked her from my arms. Cris then helped me to the first-floor bedroom.

As soon as I was comfortable, I fell fast asleep.

Narrator's POV

Dia, Rocco, and Devin had a great time while staying with Bliss and Shane. They would come home every day to spend time with Kam and Cris.

Isabella and Kekoa were a handful, but Kalani was able to handle it. Even they had fun too. He taught them how to swim with floaters on. He bought a swing and playground set and played with them. He also took them home so they could spend time with Kamea and Cris.

July went by like a cool breeze. Dia, Rocco, and Devin went to a camp for a few weeks. Gabby and Angelo turned one month old and are growing fast.

The Fiore, Landes, Sanders, Morris, Meyers, and Mitchell families spent the day at Disney World with the kids. Kamea made sure to take breaks from walking. A good time was had by all.

Kam's POV

Today, Cris and I leave for our anniversary trip. And, I still don't know where we are going. The kids are all sitting on the couch.

"I want all of you to behave. Your daddy and I will bring a present back for you."

"We promise, mommy." Then, they all came and hugged me and kiss. My dad held both Gabby and Angelo in his arms. I gave them each a kiss.

Cris came back inside the house and into the living room. "Time to go, Kamea. Kids be good for Nonno and Nonna. And, your Aunt Bliss and Uncle Shane." They ran to Cris and gave him kisses and hugs.

We then made our way outside. "You rented a limo?"

"Yup, I sure did. Your chariot awaits, my queen." Once we were in the limo, we headed to the airport.

Cris' POV

We had a long flight. And, Kamea is still knocked out. "Cris, Malinda says we are close to landing and wants us all to buckle up."

"Thanks. I'll go wake up Kamea." I then headed to the bedroom on the plane. As soon as I entered the room, Kamea appeared to be waking up. She was yawning and rubbing her eyes.

"Perfect timing. We are close to landing, so Malinda wants us to buckle up."

"Okay. I'm coming." She got up off the bed, then we headed back to our seats.

"You're still not going to tell me where we are going, just like our first wedding?" She asked me as we buckled our seat belts.

"Nope. It's hard to surprise you. So, when I get the chance, I am going to do it."

Within 20 minutes, the plane landed.

Malinda came from the cockpit.

"Thank you for a safe flight, Malinda. And, I hope you have a great time on the island."

"I sure will. Thank you, Cris. Sorry Kamea but I can't tell you where we landed. You'll love it."

Kamea looked at me and rolled her eyes. Malinda and I just laughed.

"I'll see you both on the flight home." Kamea and I walked off the plane and I still didn't tell her. It is a special surprise that she will love. There was a limo waiting for us, so I put our luggage in the trunk. Then we both got in and made our way to the surprise.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As soon as the limo stopped, I covered Kamea's eyes with a blindfold I had stashed in my pocket.
"Seriously? A blindfold."
"Yup." That was all I said. We have to take a boat, so after helping Kamea out of the limo, I led her to one of the surprises.
I motioned for the driver to take off, and we did.
"Sounds like we are on a boat."
"You got it. Wait until you see it." It was a short ride to surprise number two. We got there within ten minutes.
As soon as the boat stopped, I helped Kamea off. "Cris, if you don't take this dang blindfold........"
"Surprise! Welcome to Fiji. The special part is that this house is the birthplace of your birth grandfather, Ikaika."
Kamea started shedding a few tears.
"Your grandma Luana wanted you to have it. She has a surprise also for Noeli and Marco. He apparently has a house on land too. Kalani and your uncles have spent the past couple of years fixing the water house for you, and the land house for Noeli. They finished restoring both houses earlier this year. The boat is a part of your surprise."
"It's beautiful, Cris. I love it. Thank you."
"You're welcome, sweetheart." I pulled the keys out of my pocket and gave them to Kamea to open the door. The house has beautiful views from every angle.
It has a kitchen, living room, and dining area. There are two and a half bathrooms. Kamea and I then went to the master bedroom.
"I am going to love our time here. It's amazing!"
"It really is. Your dad said there is a small patio area attached to the house near the kitchen. And, see those beach chairs and trees on the beach?"
"Yes, I do."
"Your grandfather owns that area, as well as a stretch of the beach. It is all yours."
"Thank you for the surprise. I really appreciate it. And, I need to thank my grandma, dad, and uncles. Right now, I want to lay on the bed for some rest."
"I think I am going to join you."
Kam's POV
I woke up to the smell of the ocean and boy did it smell good. I could definitely get used to this. But, we'll see about bringing the kids here. Cris left a note on his side of the bed that he went ashore for food.
So, I grabbed my insulin and stuck myself. Yup, I am able to stick myself now. I still feel squeamish, but not like I used to. Today, I think I want to lounge on the beach and take it easy. After finishing my daily morning routine, I put on one of my bikinis and grabbed a towel just in case I want to swim.
For now, I sat on the patio near the kitchen, watching the waves go by. It really is beautiful here - clear, blue water, and plenty of sun. I could see the boat at the pier, getting ready to come this way. I took some pictures of the house and area to send home for the kids to see. I miss them, but Cris and I need this. Then next month, we are going to Tahiti. Looking forward to it.
I heard Cris in the kitchen.
"I'm on the patio!"
Sure enough, Cris came out and joined me.
"I bought some things for us to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Or, we can go to any of the local restaurants."
Cris handed me what looks like a veggie omelet, bowl of fruit, and unsweetened tea.
"Thanks."
"You're welcome." Then he went inside and came back with the same thing for himself.
"What would you like to do today?"
"Just to sit back and relax on the beach - take in the beautiful scenery. I would like to go scuba diving one day. I have always wanted to do that."
"We can do that tomorrow. There is a grill on the beach, so I'll take some of the seafood and fish to fix it."
"Okay. Can I ask you something? We have seven kids between us - Dia, Rocco, Devin, Isabella, Kekoa, Angelo, and Gabby. Do you want more or are you satisfied?"
"I'm satisfied. Plus, it seems like we create twins. But, your body has been through enough. So, it's my turn. And, we need to cut down on our urges. But if you should get pregnant again, we will make it."
"I agree, even though that is going to be hard. Maybe I could open a daycare or something. I want to do something for not just our kids, but others. Don't get me wrong - I love being a housewife and taking care of my kids. But, I miss being out there helping people."
"We still have that land next to us. We need to think about what we want to build on it."
"That's true. We can worry about that later. But, right now it is Cris and Kamea time."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Narrator's POV

As promised, the next day Cris and Kamea went scuba diving with an instructor, snorkeling, and Kamea even taught Cris how to surf.

They went shopping, the local museums, and took a walk on a hiking trail.

And, of course, plenty of relaxing at local spas and beaches.

It's now anniversary time.

Kam's POV

Cris told me to meet him near the boat. He was waiting there for me with a bouquet of flowers. When he saw me, he tried so hard not to lick his lips.

"Well, well, well - beautiful as usual."

"I'm glad you like it."

"Dinner awaits us on the beach. Close your eyes, my queen."

I didn't even fuss. I closed my eyes like Cris said. When we arrived at the shore, there was a beautiful setup waiting for us.

"I love it." Cris helped me up a couple of steps, onto the platform. Then, he pulled out my chair. "Thank you."

Cris then took his seat. Two waiters immediately brought each of us a covered tray and sat it down. They were followed by two different waiters who brought us nonalcoholic beverages. Cris has really stuck to not drinking wine. I'm ecstatic that he has.

We lifted the top off the tray. It was honey-glazed salmon, veggies, and a baked sweet potato. And, it looked and smelled delicious.

"Are you sure you are okay with leaving? We can stay you know."

"I'm sure. We had a great time here in Fiji. I'm ready to go see my kids, and Kim's bachelorette party is Saturday. I would love to bring them here one day."

"They would love it. Especially the boys because of playing in the sand."

"And, don't forget little Ms. Isabella. She would play with them too."

"She sure would." After we finished eating, Cris then stood up. "May I have this dance?"

"Yes, you may." He then took my hands and led me down the stairs. We danced to "Stay Together" by Ledisi. We sure will stay together. I love this man so much.

"Happy Anniversary, Mr. Irreplaceable."

"Happy Anniversary, my queen."

Narrator's POV

Friday morning, Cris and Kam flew back to Miami and made it safely back on Saturday.

Kamea even made it to the bachelorette party. She didn't stay long but had a blast while she was there.

The following weekend was Austin and Kim's wedding, which turned out beautiful.

Kam and Cris were off again - this time to Tahiti with their friends for a friendly competition. Boy did everyone have a great time competing against one another.

Kam's POV

Gabby and Angelo are now 2 months. And, we have three kids in school now. Dia, Rocco, and Devin. I cried watching Devin go to school. And, he likes it. I'm glad.

Cris and I decided to turn the plot of land into a daycare home for our neighborhood. There will be a security guard and cameras to watch it.

Dia and Rocco are now into soccer, so I am just going to prepare myself to be a soccer mom and a housewife.

Jake and Cris also have a bodyguard replacement and he is coming this weekend.

Cris and I also agreed that we need help around the house, so we have housekeepers come to the house every day except for the weekends. They are really sweet too.

We are taking the kids out to eat after school, so Cris and I are picking them up. Right now, they go to the same school. Of course, both of us have to drive. So, I have Gabby, Angelo, and Isabella with me. Cris has Kekoa for now.

Thankfully, I have the Platinum model Escalade because it has an extra row of seating in the back. Cris has the same thing. I had the air conditioning on a temperature appropriate for the babies as I drove away from the house.

************************

We pulled up to the school just in time to see they are coming out.

Cris got out with Kekoa. "I'll go get the kids from their classes."

"Okay." Within 10 minutes, Cris came out with Dia, Rocco, and Devin. I sent pictures of Devin going to school to Mrs. Lauren. She loved them and thanked me for sending them.

Once Cris had the kids buckled in their seats, off we went to eat.

*******************

Cris and I are taking the kids to Texas Roadhouse. They love the cowboy hat that they get with their meals. We pulled into the parking lot.

After stepping out to get the kids, I just happened to glance across the street.

"No! No! No!" Cris jumped out of his Escalade.

"Kamea, what's wrong?!"

"You said he was dead!! You said Chase was dead!!!"

"Sweetheart, what are you talking about? He is dead."

"Then who is that across the street?!"

When Cris turned around, he was beyond livid! "I saw the son of a sucker burn up in the fire!!! No way he could survive that!!" Cris charged across the street dodging cars, trying not to get hit. "CRIS!!!!"

I can't leave the kids. So, I grabbed my phone.

******************

Kamea - "Dad!!!! Dad!!!! Please come to the Texas Roadhouse!!!! Chase is not dead, and we saw him. Cris is going to end him for good now!"

Kalani - "What the.....?! I'm on my way!!!!"

*******************

What am I going to do?! I can't leave seven small kids by themselves! But, I can't let Cris go to jail! "Please hurry dad!!!"

Within 10 minutes, my dad and the police came.

"Dad, can you watch the kids?!! I need to get across the street!!"

"Go ahead!" I ran across the street as fast as I could. The police finally grabbed Cris off Chase.

They started putting Cris in the police van.

"That's my husband you are hauling off to jail!!! He is the one that should be arrested!!!"

"Ma'am, why should we arrest him?"

"Because he raped me! That is Chase Dalton!!!"

He finally caught his breath. Then said, "Did you say, Chase Dalton? I'm not Chase. He was my brother. But, I am his identical twin, Carter."

Cris and I looked at each other.

"Carter?!!!! Identical twin?!" Oh no! Please tell me this is not happening!

Or, is it really the end?

This was my very first Wattpad story. And, I am very pleased at the outcome and support for it. I will be going back one day and editing it.

The sequel will mostly feature the kid's point of view, but Kamea and Cris will have a point of view as well, especially in the first few chapters.

I hope you all enjoy the sequel as much as this one. The sequel should be published in August.

See you all soon in the next chapter of The Fiore Family.
