Chapter 54 - It's Our Anniversary
A/N: Thank you all so much for over 59k reads!
Kam's POV
We had such a great time in New York with Layla and Ryan's wedding and spending time touring with Bliss and Shane. So glad Bliss took care of that Julia chick. Who in their right mind would shove a five-year-old child to the ground?! I wish somebody would touch my kids like that. Marissa and Cris would handle it in a matter of seconds.
It felt great to get out there and dance with Bliss and her sisters. I feel like I am back in the groove again after having my babies. Speaking of, Isabella and Kekoa are now four months old. And, all of those clothes we bought for them no longer fit. But, the good thing is we can give Layla Kekoa's clothes for Logan. And, we will go shopping for the twins.
Our first wedding anniversary was April 7th. Cris and I are going away for two weeks and he has not told me where we are going. I don't mind though because I like surprises. Boy is he going to get a very, very, good anniversary gift.
The hardest thing will be leaving all four kids. Two weeks is the longest we have been apart from the kids. But, we really need a break from everything. My father is going to watch Día and Rocco. And, Antonio and Isabella are going to watch the babies. So, this week we have been spending family time before we leave on Friday.
We have to drive both of our trucks, so we took them to the zoo, the park, and we even took them to Disney World. They loved that, even Isabella and Kekoa. They got to take pictures with Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Neither one of the babies got fussy when Cris or I sat them in Mickey's lap. They both smiled.
We even noticed the new neighbor that moved in next door. Cris went over and introduced himself. He said it was a single guy that recently lost his wife that moved in. His name is Cade Dawson. Cris invited him over to have dinner with us. Marco, Noeli, Nonna and both Nonno Antonio and my dad are coming. Jake and Brianna are coming over too.

Cris' POV
While on my way outside to help Marco and Kalani with grilling, I heard the front doorbell ring. So, I went to answer the door.
"Hi. Cris right?"
"Yes, come on in. My family is outside in our pool. I'll introduce you to everyone." He came in, I closed the door, and we made our way outside.
"Sweetheart, can you come over here for a minute?"
Kamea got out of the pool, dried herself off, and came over. Thank goodness she had on a one-piece bathing suit and shorts. "This is our new neighbor, Cade. This is my wife, Kamea."
"It is nice to meet you, Cade. The two little ones coming out of the pool are our twins, Día and Rocco. And, the two little ones sleeping in the playpen are our babies - Isabella and Kekoa."
"Día and Rocco, say hi to Mr. Cade."
"Hi. Mommy, come back in the pool with us." Then, all three of them got back in the pool with Noeli.
"You have a very beautiful family, Cris."
"Thank you. I love my family and will do anything to protect them."
"Who is the guy and girl in the lounge chairs?"
"That is my wife's bodyguard, Jake. And his girlfriend, Brianna. The other woman in the pool is my brother's bride-to-be, Noeli. My brother, Marco, and my wife's father, Kalani, are the ones on the grill. A few more members of my family are coming as well."
Marco came over. "Marco, meet our new neighbor, Cade Dawson."
"It is nice to meet you, Marco. I thought you looked familiar. You are the model, correct?"
"That's me. It is nice to meet you too. The food is ready, so help yourself."
"Thank you." Then, Cade walked over to introduce himself to Kalani.
"What's his story? He sure was focused on the pool as soon as you both stepped outside, especially on Kam."
"He said he recently lost his wife. She passed away. Maybe Kamea or Noeli reminds him of his wife."
"Maybe. Hopefully, that is it and nothing else."
"That better be it. Or, he will end up like Reed, Candi, and Miranda - nowhere to be found." I don't play when it comes to Kamea and the kids. "Everybody, out of the pool. The food is ready."
"Aww, do we have to, daddy?"
"Yes, you do."
"Okay, daddy." They all came out of the pool. "Go wash your hands and I will fix you something to eat."
They all went inside to wash their hands, then came back and took a seat to eat their food.
"I need to apologize to you and your wife, Cris. When I saw her in the pool, she reminded me of my wife. I'm sorry if I made anyone feel uncomfortable."
"I didn't really notice. But, I accept your apology and would like to offer my condolences. Losing a loved one is really hard. But, with the right support system, it will help with the grieving process. I lost my mom last year. Cris, my family, and friends have helped me, my sister, and my dad cope with her passing."
"WAAH!!"
"WAAH!!"
"Duty calls. Mommy to the rescue. If I don't make it back out here, it was nice meeting you, Cade."
"I'll help, Kam." Both Noeli and Kamea went to get the twins. "We will be right back. They both need a diaper change and a bottle." Kamea and Noeli took Isabella and Kekoa inside.
******************
It started getting late, so Día and Rocco said good night, then Kamea got them ready for bed. We are flying for our anniversary trip after they get home from school. I really am excited about this trip. Our first honeymoon was terrible, and we didn't even leave the second time because Mama Jayde passed. This time, Kamea and I will get to thoroughly enjoy ourselves without distractions.
Everyone helped to put away the food and clean up.
"Well, I am going to be heading home. Thank you for inviting me over to have dinner with your family. Have a good evening." Cade then left the house and made his way home, which is right next door. I noticed that he kept staring at Kamea the whole evening. I know he said she reminds him of his wife, but I am going to keep my eyes on him.
I should be heading to bed too. Tomorrow is going to be a long day.

Kam's POV
I miss the kids already and we haven't even left yet. Jake and I are on the way to pick them up from school. Then, we are meeting Cris at the airport. He still hasn't told me where we are going, but he did tell me the flight is twelve hours and twenty-eight minutes. Cris says I will love where we are going.
Our plane leaves Miami at 3:00 pm. We will arrive at our destination early am on Saturday, which Cris says will be a sleep day. That is what he thinks.
Once I pulled up to the school, Jake and I got out to get them from their class.
We peaked into the classroom and they saw us. "Mommy! Jake!"
"Hi, Mrs. Kline. Thank you so much for staying with the twins."
"You're welcome, sweetie. And, how are the babies doing?"
"They can be a handful at times, but I love it. Next time I pick up Día and Rocco, I'll bring them with me. They are four months already."
"Time surely does fly. Well, it was good to see you, Kamea. And, Día and Rocco, I'll see you on Monday."
"It was good to see you too. Say goodbye, kids."
They both waved their hands and said, "Bye, Mrs. Kline." Then, Jake carried Día and, I held Rocco's hand. Cris is already at the airport with Kekoa and Isabella. After Jake helped put the kids in the truck, we made our way to the airport.
******************
We pulled up right next to Isabella's and my dad's SUV'S. Jake helped the twins out of the truck. He is going to drive my Escalade home. I went to hold my babies one last time before we leave.
"Be a sweet, little girl for Nonna and Nonno, okay? Mommy loves you." Isabella started cooing and fidgeting like she knew what I was talking about. I kissed my baby girl and gave her to my dad.
Then, I held my baby boy. "And, you be a good, little boy, okay? And, mommy loves you too." He did the same thing, cooing, and fidgeting. I gave him to Antonio.
"Día and Rocco, behave for Nonno, understand? Your daddy and I will bring back presents for you. I love you both." I gave them both a kiss and a hug. I started getting teary-eyed because I am going to miss seeing all four of their sweet, precious faces each morning.
"We love you too, mommy." My little prince wiped my tears away. And that little gesture made me cry more. I love my kids very much. They ran over to Cris and hugged him. "Be good for Nonno Kalani, understand?"
"Yes, daddy."
"Cris, we have been given the go-ahead to take off."
"Thank you. Time to go, sweetheart."
I hugged everyone. "Thank you for watching the kids."
"You're welcome, honey. Have a great time on your trip." Mom Isabela remarked.
Once Cris and I hugged everyone, we made our way to his jet and took our seats. Cris' pilot, Josephine, waited until everyone backed the trucks away to a safe distance. Then, she taxied to the runway and took off. Once in the air, I took my seat belt off.
"So you still are not going to tell me where we are going? Not even a hint?"
Cris unbuckled his seat belt, grabbed my hands, and led me over to his lap.
"Sweetheart, we have a really, long flight ahead of us. How about we use that time wisely to begin celebrating our anniversary." He lifted my shirt over my head, started moving my hair, then planted kisses all over my neck.
"Why, what did you have in mind, Mr. Fiore?"
"Hold on tight, madam. We are going for a walk."
As I held on tight to Cris, we walked past his flight attendants, Aaron and Rachel. They started snickering. "Happy Anniversary, Cris and Kamea."
"Aww, thank you, guys." Cris continued walking until he reached the bedroom on board the plane.
He didn't even let me take the rest of my clothes off. He was a man on a mission and ripped not just mine off, but his too. Then, we re-lived our wedding night and he went to work on me.
While Cris was on the attack on my body, I asked, "What if I get pregnant again?"
"We will make it work, sweetheart. The more kids the merrier." I wrapped my legs back around his waist and my arms around his neck. I pulled him back down on me and did my dance that he loved so much. We even switched positions and I had the time of my life, in the air.
"Cris pulled himself up, then looked down in my eyes. "Baby, you danced. You know how I love the dance."
"Less talking and more gyrating and dancing." I wrapped my arms around his neck and crashed him back down on me. "Someone's anxious." I dug my nails in his back and screamed, "YES! YES! GO FASTER, DADDY!" He didn't flinch one bit from the fact that I dug my nails in his back.
"Happy Anniversary, Sweetheart."
"Happy Anniversary, Handsome."

Narrator's POV
Cris and Kamea went at it for hours, until they were both worn out. And, then they drifted off to sleep.

Cris' POV
I woke up to a brand-new day and the sun was shining brightly through the window curtain. Kamea and I were wrapped in a warm, loving embrace. She was still fast asleep. I hate to wake her up, but I need to see how close we are to landing.
Surprisingly, Kamea did not wake up when I unwrapped her arms. Then, I headed to the bathroom for a nice, warm shower. My goodness, that woman is a beast in the bed and she is mine.
After my shower, I went to get dressed so I could check in with my pilot. On my way, I ran into Aaron.
"Good morning, Cris. Would you like me to make something for breakfast for you and Kamea?"
"Let me see how much longer we have to fly, and I will get back to you."
Then, I headed to the cockpit to talk to the captain.
"Good morning, Josephine and Gabriel. How much longer until we land?" That's right. I have a female captain. And, she is the best. My original captain retired, and he recommended Josephine.
"Oh, hey Cris. We should be landing in a couple more hours. And, congratulations on your wedding anniversary. We heard you and Kamea celebrating all the way in here."
"Sorry about that. And, thank you, Josie."
"Don't be sorry, Cris. Have you told Kamea yet about where you are taking her?"
"Nope. I want her to be surprised."
"I have no doubt that she will love it. I had a layover one time there for a couple of days. It is a beautiful country. How are the kids?"
"They are all great. Día and Rocco recently turned six. And, Kekoa and Isabella are four months already."
"Wow. Time surely has flown. Gabriel and I will have to come by and see them."
"Please do. And, we will fix dinner for you both. See you both later."
After leaving the cockpit, I went back to Aaron.
"We haven't eaten since we left Miami, so we will eat whatever is Diabetic friendly. I am going to check on Kamea and I will be right back."
Well, we haven't eaten food since we left. As I opened the door to the room, Kamea was up and getting dressed.
"Good morning, Mrs. Fiore. In two more hours, we will be landing. We both need insulin shots and Aaron is making us breakfast. Now, how about some morning sugar?"
Kamea walked over to where I was standing and gave me a taste of those perfectly, plump luscious lips. "Good morning, Mr. Fiore. We better get out of here before we have a different type of breakfast. You know what I mean?" She winked as she walked out the door. I closed the door fast and followed behind her.
The insulin was in her purse. So, she grabbed it out and had it ready. So, I gave Kamea her insulin first. "Ouch." She always closes her eyes.
Then, I administered my insulin. Aaron wheeled a cart over with quite a selection. "Cris, we now have Diabetic friendly food choices on the plane for you, Kamea, or any other people that may fly on your plane. Enjoy."
"Thank you, Aaron."
The cart had orange juice, coffee, cereal, eggs, and turkey bacon. It was just enough for both of us. We both ate and drank everything that was on the cart. Just in time too because Josephine just announced that we need to put our tray tables up and seat belts on. Rachel came and grabbed the cart and then take her seat as well.
Once we land, Josephine is going to announce where we will spend the next two weeks. Within 20 minutes, the plane touched down safely.
"Cris and Kamea, welcome to Greece."
"Surprise! We are spending the next two weeks in Santorini."
"Greece?! I have always wanted to come here! Thank you, Tiger."
"You're welcome, sweetheart. Let's get off the plane and head to the resort."
Kam's POV
"Where is Josephine? I wanted to thank her for another safe flight." She came out just as I said that.
"Here I am. And, you're welcome, Kamea. You and Cris will enjoy your time here. And, congratulations on your anniversary. I'll see you in two weeks."
"Thank you, Josie." Then, we walked off the plane. The limousine driver then boarded Cris' plane, grabbed our luggage, and placed it in the trunk.
As we made our way to our resort, I couldn't help but take in some of the Grecian scenery. It was absolutely beautiful - beautiful beaches, landscapes, families walking together while shopping. I miss my kids, but I know they are in great hands with my father, Antonio, and Isabella.
It was a thirty-minute ride, then we finally arrived. Once we pulled up to the resort, a bellhop approached the limo and grabbed our luggage. Cris and I walked to the receptionist desk in the lobby to check-in. Then, we took an elevator ride up to our suite.
We had amazing views from our room.
"I am going to love our time here. This is a beautiful room. Thank you, Cris."
"You're welcome, sweetheart. What would you like to do first?"
"Is there any question as to what to do first? We are kid-free for the next two weeks. Let's break in this room - Fiore style. We can go out tomorrow." I grabbed Cris's hands and dragged him to our bedroom.
We spent the whole day having fun and doing unholy things to each other. We eventually took a break to call for room service. Once it arrived, we took the food outside and enjoyed the scenery.
For our stay in Greece, Cris rented this beauty.
Throughout our two weeks, we didn't stay in Santorini. We traveled to Athens for a few days.
Cris booked a hotel for us there and we went shopping, took a tour of the city, the Acropolis and of course, ate plenty of delicious food.
We did relax at some of the beautiful beaches as well.
Our two weeks in Greece went fast. On our last day here, Cris and I will celebrate our anniversary with dinner and a night out in Santorini.

Wait until Cris sees this dress that I bought for our anniversary dinner.
He is going to love it. And, I brought the white stiletto heels I wore on our wedding night. Cris was already in the living room. So, that is where I went. I grabbed my phone, so I could capture his reaction.
His eyes were wide and his mouth hanging open. "So, how do you like it?" I snapped every facial expression he displayed.
Cris was speechless at first and I had to chuckle. "You look absolutely amazing. And, I see you have on your white stilettos as well." Cris started smirking as he walked over to me. He walked around me with that silly smirk on his face and said, "She is definitely a Brick House."
We both chuckled. "Let's go enjoy our last night in Greece."
We took a short ride in the car to the restaurant. It was one of the most popular places in Greece. It not only has a restaurant but a bar and pool as well.
Over dinner, we talked about our first year of marriage together. We had plenty of happy times, but a few sad times as well. After we ate, Cris gave me a beautiful card.
Then, he gave me a beautiful gift. I opened the box and it was a diamond necklace with a locket. I opened the locket and on one side it was a picture of Cris and me. And on the other side, it was a picture of the kids. "I love it. It is beautiful. Thank you." I took it out of the box, then Cris came over and put it on me. "I don't remember that picture of the kids."
"It was a surprise. I told Día and Rocco not to tell you that they took it. I took that picture one day while you were resting. And, you're welcome."
Then, I gave Cris my card.
Then, I gave him his gift. He opened it and was surprised.
"Thank you for the engraved watch. I love it, but a map sweetheart?"
"The salesperson that sold it to me told me it can serve as a timeline to mark the places we traveled to in our relationship. And, then we could add the future places we have traveled to. We can now add Greece. This is a smaller version that I could wrap in the box. I bought a larger one and put it in a frame at home."
"I love it. Thank you, sweetheart. Happy Anniversary, my queen."
"You're welcome. And, Happy Anniversary, my king."
Cris paid for our dinner. We planned on going dancing, but we had other ideas. Cris drove us back to our room and we had fun with each other for the rest of the night.

Saturday, May 4th, 2019
While Cris went to the lobby to check out, I went to the balcony and took one last look at the beautiful scenery. I am going to miss it here. We had two, beautiful weeks. Now, it is time for us to get back to our kids and family.
I heard the door to our room open, so I walked into the living room. We had to buy additional luggage because we bought so much for the kids and family. A bellhop followed Cris in the room and he collected our bags and took them to the limo.
"You ready to go, sweetheart?"
"Yes, I am. Thank you for a beautiful anniversary trip. I will always cherish it."
"You're welcome, Kamea. I am glad you enjoyed it."
As we walked out of the room, "Now, we need to rest up and get ready to travel to New York to support Bliss. I can't believe that character is suing her."
"He is just as sick as Chase, wanting someone he can't have. I talked with Shane and he has some of the best lawyers in the country representing Bliss. She is definitely going to win this case."
After stepping off the elevator, we made our way to the limo and pulled off to the airport to make our way home.
